We would use them in the future, and I have recommended them to other people.

I had them come in because of a small rodent problem and they helped me go through the house, plug holes, and I have not had problems since then with rodents. They were responsive, nice, and very good. However I should note they never caught any rodents. They always informed me when they were about to come out. They would even call me before the arrival. The one thing they kept repeatedly doing although I cautioned them, was to open a door that would set off our alarm. This would cause the alarm company to go on alert. Overall though they are good. A tip - you can get a discount by paying a year in advance.

I have dogs and they have pet safe products and when they can't use pet safe products they advise when and for how long the dogs will need to be removed from the home. For a while I didn't know when they would be coming until I saw a bill on my door (hence the B on punctuality). I let them know that I needed to be notified so I can point out any issues around the house. Since that time they have notified me by email when they are scheduled to come and this has worked well. I think they're a bit expensive (Hence the B on price) but they're very professional.

It has been great working with them. They are very responsive and use natural products. It takes about 2 to 3 treatments to get rid of the problem but they totally eliminated our ant and rodent problem. They charge depending on the size of the property.

They are pretty good. They come out every two months. I do not have any complaints; they are punctual and give good service. I have an ongoing thing with them.

The Hitman were great. Again very professional and sensitve to the issue. Also, very responsive and timely. I was able to get an appointment very quickly. I will use them for any exterminations or yard uses in the future years to come.

Starting from the beginning, I contacted The Hitmen for an appointment. The woman that answered my call was friendly and efficient in making the arrangement. I had to call back a second time to reschedule; not a problem. Vince, the inspector, came out to house. He was on time. Clearly, he is knowledgeable. The crawl space was somewhat limiting but it was not a problem with Vince. Gave us the assessment and in 48 hours, email me a report along, the estimate to correct the problem, and a work order authorization form for signature, if the decision is to move forward. I did obtain a second estimate. Hitmen and the other termite company's quotes were almost identical. What set Hitmen apart was that Hitmen offered Altriset (termitecide) as a chemical option; the other termite company did not. I did some research on several of the termicides and Altriset appears to be the least toxic and is specific for termites. It claims to be non-toxic for human and animals. As I understand it, Altriset came out about 10 years ago. Please do your own research to make you own decision on what termitecide to use. Max was the technician that came out to perform the work. He was knowledgeable, patient, and answered all my questions (he was clearly a good listener). My line of questions had to deal with how and where the chemical were applied. We had an orange tree and tomato plants by the side of the house. Altriset was applied along the outer perimeter of the house (a narrow trench was created to where the chemical was applied). The application was in a liquid format. For the area near the fruit tree and tomato plants, Max offered to apply the chemical on the other side of the wall (i.e. underneath the house) to keep the chemical further away from the roots of the tree/plant. He completed his work in an orderly and professional manner. Hitmen does not charge until the work is completed. Work warranty is for 5 years. It appears that one has to pay for subsequent re-inspections. Need to verify. In conclusion, I was very pleased with the service and the overall experience with The Hitmen Termite and Pest Control. I highly recommend them.

They have gone far beyond and above the call of duty for pest control. I am delighted with their knowledge. The specialist on our account is James and he is wonderful and thoroughly knowledgeable, and open to considering all the various ways rodents may find a way. One day a worker at the house reported a handful of wasps flying around, and the worker was frightened. I called that afternoon and James came out on his way home from work, with the company's permission, to inspect and spray the area, and it was free of charge. I was amazed at this service. All the specialists I've dealt with so far all have this zeal about getting these critters -- like they take it upon themselves that these critters will be had. Highly recommended service company.

Ultimately the work was successful to date, as there are no further signs of rodents, following sealing of possible entry points identified in inspection, and one rodent found in trap and removed. Positives: Inspector and technicians who came to the house were always personable, very responsive to questions, and seemingly thorough. The office was very flexible in working with scheduling for inspection, sealing, and trap checks. I was very appreciative of their flexibility and understanding in this. Negatives: Communication about cost was unsatisfactory, both with the office by phone and somewhat with the inspector. It was not possible for example, to understand the explanation on the phone about cost ("free inspection" if purchase the service, etc. ~ very confusing, seemingly double talk). Basically, not a free inspection. If you do not use their services, you pay an inspection fee. It would have been better to just say this, simply and directly, rather than use the misleading "free inspection" term (repeatedly on the phone). Further phone contact with the office with other questions unsatisfactory ~ many transfers to people who themselves didn't know, etc. The inspector was unaware of the Angie's List discount (on the web page), which was however honored after I pointed it out on the computer and he called the office to verify. A second issue arose when I was clarifying the process of trap-checks, to be scheduled at a set fee-per-check. He quoted a price $5 more per check than the price the office quoted by phone just days prior. At my noting the discrepancy, he agreed to the lower price, though without explanation or acknowledging any error in the higher price, so it remains unclear whether or not the higher price would have held, had I not noticed it at the time. It is a plus, certainly, that there was no argument about the published discount or quoted fee being honored. Lastly, there was conflicting information from technicians about the exclusion/sealing process. In the final analysis the technician who did the work itself seemed most knowledgeable, leading to confidence in the process ultimately. However, it was a bit unsettling until then. Overall, no major complaints, personnel doing the work very courteous, prompt and reliable, and success so far in solving the basic rodent problem. Given the issues though, might try another provider should the problem recur.

I called them because of the reviews listed here and the manual that came with my home inspection service recommended them. The home inspection booklet said that they guaranteed service within 24 hours. I called at 8 am on Friday morning and the receptionist wanted to give me a time on the following Monday afternoon. When I told her about the 24 hour service, she gave me a time on the afternoon of the following day (Saturday). Everything else was perfect. The operator arrived on time, explained the service extremely well, sprayed the nest (which promptly disappeared) and charged me an incredibly reasonable fee. Since the nest was just outside my front door, I was concerned that a child would come to the door and be stung. It was very important to have it eliminated as quickly as possible. I would definitely call these people again. Excellent service, top notch in every way.

Real nice guy. He offered sound advice on getting rid of the bugs, without harming the environment. The issue was black widows and beetles. I found half a dozen dead black widows in areas that we would normally hang out in... I hate black widows!!!

They ended up doing a really good job. The guy was super friendly. He came out, did the quote, and performed the work on the spot. I liked the fact that they came, did the quote, and performed the work on the same day. I liked the fact that they were polite, very efficient, and has all his tools with him.

Jesse was right on time and very professional, he answered all my questions and offered me a couple of options of service. At this time I am unable to employee their services.

My kids came home for the holidays and said they heard scratching sounds when the house was quiet. I also found bits and pieces of plastic and insulation in the heating vents. The Hitmen technician came out and inspected for about $95. He was friendly and very professional. He kept everything clean and performed a very thorough inspection. He found that my crawl space and attic were infested with rats and that there was urine and feces contamination of the insulation and significant damage to the flexible plastic heating ducts. He found about 14 places around the house with openings that could allow entry. He took the time to show me all of them and described in detail the work that would need to be performed to eliminate the problem. The estimate for the additional work and inspections was about $650 additional due to the amount of ladder work required. They set traps and inspected ( and removed carcasses) weekly until the the infestation was clear. An exterior technician came and performed all of the exclusion work to seal the probable entrances. All of the technicians were friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. They worked to accommodate my schedule. The work on the exclusions looks excellent. They recommended an excellent company to perform the decontamination work on the insulation and coordinated with them to ensure the fastest cleanup possible. Overall they made a difficult situation very bearable.

It did not go at all. I contacted Hitmen based on their Angie's List profile where they state they provide FREE estimates. They responded by asking for $95 first and then I would get that "FREE" estimate. Deception is the very type of behavior I thought I was getting away from by joining Angie's list. All others that I have contacted sent out a tech that did an inspection, walked me through what needed to be done and how they were going to do the job and then mapped those efforts with how much the job would cost. Only one of these companies will get the job--not Hitmen, Hitmen were a Miss with me.

The problem persisted after the first visit, so Hitmen scheduled more visits until it fianally was solved. Hitmen was not the first pest control company that we had hired to solve the problem, but it was the only company that was totally successful. I recommend them highly.

Very satisfied with their work. When asked them to come and check again an opening they promptly showed up and inspected it again. They also recommended cleanup crew. I was not able to get hold of them in time to do it. Went with another cleaning company and it was a mess. I should have stayed with their recommendation.

They were very thought in services and took as much time as needed to do the job correctly..

Very professional from start to finish.

They were on time and very thorough. They provided a timely report which helped speed up the buying process. Dave came out to do a re inspection at no additional fee because I was active duty military. I could not be happier with the service they provided and would fully recommend them to anyone especially any active duty military.

As written , I cancelled the work contract based on the 170% increase in price.

I will use their service again in the future and I will recommend them.
