While exploring options for an A/C unit and installation, my fiancee and I met with four different companies and ultimately chose Westside Heading and Air Conditioning and we are extremely pleased with our choice. Ron from Westside was the first person to visit the house and give us an estimate and his friendly and straightforward approach resonated with us. He explained clearly what our options were, what he recommended as a minimum install and allowed us to consider our own upgrades and choices. There was no pressure or heave salesmanship and no sense of any unnecessary upsale. We have existing central heating so the job was strictly about adding A/C to what was already in place. The quoted costs were competitive and in line with what we researched as comparable for this level of work. There was a four man crew who showed up to install the unit and they were very friendly, efficient and aware of our space and needs. Particularly in the fact we had to leave them alone at the house with our dog and they went out of their way to be comfortable with the dog and make sure he was kept safe and secure. They went over all the details with us succinctly and completed the install in one day. They have since followed up a few times to ensure the system is working properly and make sure we don't have any questions or issues. I have now recommended them to my neighbor who is considering a system. The people at Westside Heating and Air are great. They don't try to oversell their products. They scheduled the work and installed it in a timely manner. They coordinated well with the electrician (which they said would cost a little extra and did). They explained various options and listened to our needs. The unit has worked perfectly and is quiet. We are enjoying a cooler summer.

they were very professional, they had to make a new entrance to our ceiling crawl space in the hall way , and they did a great job with that. They cleaned everything up nicely. You would never know they were here. we are in the midst of the classic September heat wave, and I am thankful for our central air. It only took a few days to get the job done.

Westside Heating was very responsive in coming out for a bid. The problem with the heater was clearly explained, as were options for the air filter. Scheduling was clear, and communications easy when I needed to contact Ron. He was very accommodating in working around plumbers who were also at my home due to an emergency situation. The installation was done in one day, and care taken for minimal disturbance. Cleaning was minimal after work was done. I will now be using Westside for regular maintenance; i.e. , changing filters

The crew was excellent and finished the work in 2 days. They came in, did their job and left no trace. Clean, respectful, and an excellent installation. And they put up with our two nosy dogs. Highly recommended.

I have no complaints, what so ever! Everything was done in a timely, efficient and professional manner. They kept me informed of what was going on at all times and called to make sure I was happy with everything along the way. Would not hesitate for one second to use them again and/or recommend them to others. Several of my neighbors have used this company and have had the same positive experience.

They were on time, did everything they promised and no additional charge for getting a permit from the fire department to use our fire road. Very responsive to questions. A-1 service.

It went very well. It was a complicated job because I didn't want to have the condenser on the ground behind my house which would have been the easiest/cheapest place to locate it. I use that space as a playspace for my toddler so I wanted the condenser to go on our roof instead. Ron and Mike at Westside helped me find the quietest condenser possible and were able to do the install with a minimum amount of cosmetic work needed post-installation inside my garage and on the back wall of our house. The system is running smoothly and quietly in our house which gets very hot upstairs and my toddler is sleeping like the baby he still is. Everyone is happy!

I can't say a single bad thing about the experience--Ron was honest, diligent, friendly, and incredibly easy to work with. His team that did the installation were polite, friendly, and very efficient. The overall experience was really pleasant and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

It was a great experience. Ron is very experienced, although somewhat cautious, which isn't a bad thing by any means. He assessed my needs including measuring the room and we explored several possible sites for the external unit. I called twice more with further questions and he even came out a second time. Mike his partner, showed up early in the morning of the install - looked carefully at the issues involved, solved or talked through with his helper all the possible problems and then set to work. They were efficient and fast, and finished that same day. They also did a good job of clean up. Ron recommended an electrician he uses on most of his work, Lyle Garcia of Garcia Electrical. He was also very good and very experienced. I will use Lyle now as my go to electrician. Overall, they get my highest rating.

They did a good job. They have high quality Lennox condenser and heater. They're punctual, on time and friendly. The air conditioning worked out fine. They are a small company with a family operative. They're like a sophisticated individual and they get to work quickly with high quality work.

Clearly have years of experience installing new HVAC systems.Terrific communication (quick response via phone and email), punctual, and genuinely concerned about utilizing the proper HVAC equipment/system for the size of my condo unit. Westside Heating and AC was really great to work with from the first conversation about the work. I spoke to Ron about replacing our existing AC unit, which was really loud, large and didn't work well. He gave me options for replacement, was very patient explaining the differences in the units, etc. They came out to our house, looked over what we had and gave us a very complete bid and timeline. When it came time to do the work, the guys that showed up were really great. They communicated well, were very courteous and took care moving equipment through the house. Honestly, I was really happy to have a couple of guys who spoke English well doing the work. We've had various things done around here, and often have had some difficulty communicating with the the people who were doing the work. They got the job done on time, on budget and we're very happy with our new system. Great experience... I highly recommend Westside Heating and Air Conditioning.

I've used Westside for years. They are prompt, professional, and always get the job done for a reasonable price. In addition to repairs, they clean and service the units twice a year. Highly recommended.

the man was very friendly when he arrived the a/c had been giving me problems. He got straight to work and got the job done really fast and fixed the problem. He said he had to replace a broken capacitor and now the a/c works great its going to be a relaxing summer.

Basically all the reviews about westside are true. I had already meet with two other contractors but once I read all the reviews I new I had to give Westside a shot and I?m very happy I did. Mike, Ron and the whole team at Westside went out of their way to make sure everything was done the way it should be. They are extremely efficient and once decisions were made and permits were pulled everything moved along very fast. If you do your research before you get a system installed you will ultimately come to the conclusion that its not so much the equipment but its the people that install the system that is really important. I feel My system was installed the way it should be and that if any problems should arise Westside would always stand behind their work. Their pricing was very fair and feel they went out of their way to save me money when possible. If you have any heating or A/C needs I would definitely recommend them.

The entire process went really smoothly. After consulting Angie's List for recommended HVAC companies, we contacted Ron at Westside Heating & Cooling. Ron called us back quickly, came over and took a look at our newly-purchased house, and then gave us an estimate with different options--that way, we could decide exactly how much of the existing equipment we wanted to replace and how much we wanted to spend. After discussing the various options, we decided to replace the two existing HVAC units and replace the ductwork in the house (the house was built as a "spec home", and was almost 15 years old, so the existing units were pretty low-grade and the ductwork was old and dirty). Installation went well, as did the City inspection of the units. After the installation was finished, Ron has called me a couple of times, to make sure that we were happy with the work and happy with the new systems. I would highly recommend this company.

Met with Ron (co owner) who explained the different types of systems and made recommendations that exactly fit our needs and budget. He made several recommendations regarding a system that is quiet which was a major concern for us. Mike (co owner) and crew arrived as promised and completed the entire job in one day. Electric was installed the next day and Mike returned the next day to fine tune the system and show us how it works. Mike kept us informed as to what they were doing. The crew worked professionally and left the house cleaner than when they arrived. The system has performed better than our expectations. Westside is family owned and been in business for many years. They are proud of their reputation and work hard to maintain it. I would highly recommend them to anyone

Responsive, low pressure bid for the job. Quick and easy to schedule. Fast, professional installation with no mess. Matt, who led the crew doing installation was happy to answer my detailed questions and review all of his team's work with me. Electrical work was not included in the quote but coordinated by Westside with a great electrician, Lyle Garcia, who works with the Westside team. Garcia provided a few additional on-the-spot services for me at very reasonable cost.

Told me that it did not need refrigerant ( this is often where air con service companies can rip you off). Was punctual and clean.

I originally called Westside, to address a fan that wouldn't turn off, and my system was evaluated and recommendations made. I had three proposals from other providers, but Ron's proposal was not only less expensive but addressed issues of reducing the requirement for energy usage, and assuring that the system addressed all my concerns and provided the coverage I needed. They arrived exactly on time completed the work in exactly the time that was estimated. They cleaned up so that everything was clean and tidy when they left. I highly recommend Ron, John and Westside to anyone who needs to replace a heating and air-conditioning system.

So quick so easy. Kathy was really great maneuvering things so I got a convenient appointment time next day. Mike showed up early, was polite and professional and lightening fast. From my first inquiry on Angie's List to a fixed HVAC was basically the interval between dinner on Wednesday evening and breakfast in Thursday morning. Impressive. Nice work gang.
