Awful. They wouldn't even stop by for 15 minutes. And they are blocks away. Totally unhelpful.

These guys were great from the start. Ron gave an honest and fair estimate and held a spot his calendar for us while we decided. On the day of installation Mike and the guys were punctual, efficient and fast replacing our old heating unit and installing a new cooling system. I would definitely recommend these guys and would hire them again without hesitation. Great guys, great service!

Westside Heating & Air conditioning is as good as it gets. This local company is truly remarkable from start to finish. I used them in 2012 to replace a heating system for my mother and from that day I knew I would use them in the future for our home. These people really know their stuff and they do not cut corners or take short cuts. If you want it done right the first time this is the company you need to use. I honestly can't say enough good things about this company. You pay for what you get and I gurantee you will not go wrong if you use Westside Heating & Air conditioning.

Everything went like clockwork. Estimate, scheduling, installation (including crane) were all done in a timely and professional manner. Owners (Ron & Mike) and son were a pleasure to deal with. Quote was extremely competitive and included a better brand heat pump than the other quotes.

They were a pleasure to work with. This is a family company and I liked working with them. They were easy to talk to, friendly and patient with our questions and concerns. From the beginning, I felt I was getting honest information. We trusted their recommendations. Service was prompt and efficient.

Originally contacted Westside to repair problem regarding my 31-year old furnace. Mike came out that morning to check out the furnace and found that the problem was simply repaired. Because the furnace and air-conditioning units were over 30 years old, I asked them what it would cost to replace the units. After assessing both units and their locations, he quoted me a price within the week: $7870. I agreed and they set a date of January 28th for the work. On that day, they arrived on time; brought in a crane to remove the old units; and installed the new ones in a little over half a day. The installation went very smoothly. Both units work perfectly. Mike did mention that a new return grill would improve the system. I agreed to have that installed. I did receive an extra bill of $144.00 for that. When I brought it to Mike's attention that we had not previously agreed on a price, he apologized and offered to cut the bill in half. This firm is totally straight-forwarded and honest. They want to do the best job possible and keep customers happy. I would be very confident about using them to resolve any future air-conditioning or heating issues.

ABSOLUTE PERFECTION!! i have never had such quality service. first, the bid was less than half of another provider in the area for the EXACT same units. RON is an extremely honest man, and he really wants to help his customers. he even told me to make sure and get my coupon on angle's list, saving me $100. (customer service- A++++++++++++++) i have a precious old cat who is very fragile and both ron and his wife assured me everything would go smoothly and that i should not worry. when ron came to first see the job, i was very impressed with his knowledge and complete inspection of the house. with his recommendation, two larger rooms now have proper heating! totally thrilled about that!! the two young men who came , matt and alex, were so professional. everything was done perfectly and they were so polite and friendly. they were even very compassionate about my kitty and made sure to let me know if there were going to be too much noise so that i could get molly bloom to a quiet place. animal lovers will really appreciate them!!! they also made sure i understood the working of the heaters and very patiently answered all my questions before they left. the next morning, i had a call from ron to make sure everything was fine. where do you get such amazing professionalism, honestly and yes, simple kindness- a very rare commodity! WESTSIDE HEATING IS THE BEST IN EVERY WAY!!!

I was able to get a appointment very quickly even though they were quite busy. The technicians who arrived were very friendly, helpful and had good attention to detail. I particularly appreciated their attention to quality when replacing the thermostat and making sure the new installation looked good. They paid as much attention to the quality as I would have done myself. I will definitely call Westside Heating again for my future Heating/AC needs.

Mike,Ron and team were very professional . Mike gave me a comprehensive bid for a new unit. I had three other bids. This team gave me information on size and seers that the other companies failed to meet my requests. Quiet and efficient. The install went smoothly and clean up was appreciated. Waiting for Mike to return and show my husband the filter location. I referred the Westside team to my neighbors in need of a new system. Highly recommend their service.

Our satisfaction rating for Westside Heating & AC is EXCELLENT at every stage of service - from placing our urgent request, to the service call and finally to follow-up call and billing. Monday morning we woke up with water leaking out of our bedroom ceiling lights. We are selling our home and the buyers' 3 hour inspection was just 4 hours away! Westside Heating & AC installed central heat and air for my mom last year and we were so pleased and impressed with the level of service and courtesy she'd received we knew immediately who to call. Ron, the owner, answered - not only was he sympathetic to our frantic call but he remembered us from last winter. A technician arrived within 1/2 hour to rescue us. This was on a busy Monday morning between service calls - yet his work was thorough and he was personable and courteous - which was very nice for 2 very frazzled folks . That repair wasn't just a fix - it saved our ceiling, our lights AND the sale. Needless to say, we are more than grateful for the superior customer service and workmanship Westside Heating & AC consistently delivers. They are our company of choice and we HIGHLY recommend them.

Our 1944 home had only a wall heater. Ron gave us a quote for installing AC and heating. His quote arrived after only a few days of his inspection. Two of his workers arrived on time as promised and removed our wall heater and installed the new components in two days time. They were very professional and although I was afraid that cutting into the ceiling to add the new registers would require us to have to do some patch work, I was pleasantly surprised that none was needed. I was also afraid that dust and plaster residue would be all over our house after installation, but it wasn't. They came on time, did a professional, clean job, and left us with a system that will, thankfully, serve us on hot, humid days as well as chilly winter days. I would recommend Westside wholeheartedly.

Called them up they arrived early began to work on our AC unit and did a great job. They gave us reasonable pricing happy with the service thank you guys.

This was a townhouse HVAC install, so I had to get a permit which Westside helped me with. My townhouse is 4 stories tall and they had to use a heavy crane to lift the condesor on the roof--parking was tight but they were in and out in 30 min. My townhouse is also over 30 years old and the return air shaft used wall cavity instead of duct. This is not allowed in new home construction and my wall duct system was really discusting and full of 30 plus years of dust! Westside managed to create a clean return air path using insulation materials. This was very importany to me since I have 3 kids and I didn't want them breathing old dust! Ron, the owner came out in person and recommened a system tailored to my needs. His crew was fantastic and very polite. They even took care of my 220 Volt electrical needs for the new system. Another very cool thing they did for me was instaling a wifi thermostat which I can control from my iphone or ipad. This is just great. I hightly recommend Westside, they will give you great service at a fair price.

Westside Heating and AC were responsive when I called, gave me the details on cost and time, pleasant and helpful on the phone. I ended up having to replace the unit due to complications but now they will repair it at any time since they installed it; not possible before due to it being another brand. Ron is always very nice to work with, good personality, professional, knowledgeable. I feel very confident in their work and will definitely call again. They are my providers of choice in the Santa Monica area. They handled the job in efficient manner, no problems at any time.

They came and fixed our A/C replaced broken capacitor. The guy was professional from the start knew what he was doing got our A/C working.

These guys are GREAT!!! We built our home 20 years ago, never thinking that we would someday want A/C. We spent the past two years talking this over, and dreading the prospect. Interviewed several companies and requested bids from two. Price-wise, the two bids were quite similar. We chose Westside Heating because we were really impressed with Ron?s attention to detail, both during his inspection and in the subsequent proposal. Since our existing heater was 20 years old, we chose to install both AC and a new heating system. John and Kathy in the office kept us well-informed as to possible installation dates. Challenges presented by how our house was constructed resulted in modifications to the original proposal, but Ron was very clear in explaining the problems and the proposed changes. Even though changes were made, Westside honored the contracted price. The installation was a dream. Please note that we are a white house with white carpeting, 17 stairs between the front door and the heater/AC installation site, and 30 outside steps from the street to where the condenser was to be installed. The installation team: Mike, Matt and Jay were the best: Clean, efficient, courteous and capable. Two days later, the job was done. All in all - a great experience. We happily recommend Westside Heating and AC to anyone and everyone. True professionals.

I just wanted to reiterate what I said in 2011 after the installation of my HVAC system. Mr. Wrinkleman advised and designed the system for my house which at the time had no modern ducts for the heating and none for air conditioning. The price was fair, not the lowest and not the highest of the estimates. The company did a great job, clean, efficient and started and finished in five days. Every year since I have them come out to service the system. It operates still like it's brand new. I have had no problems with the efficiency of the system. Since this is an owner operated, small company, I sometimes have to wait two months to get the service in the summer months because they are so busy. That's how good their reputation and workmanship is. I know if I had an emergency they would be right there, but since I've never had a problem I can wait two months just to have the system serviced. Because they are that good I would highly recommend them.

Ron and his crew are the best! They communicate well, are prompt, did perfect work and cleaned up well. We're very happy with our experience with them, especially on hot and humid days! We'd highly recommend them.

I have always experienced great service from this company. Many years ago I had a Trane heating system installed by another company who since went out of business. I then started calling Westside whenever I needed a service call (filter change etc). They were always very prompt and helpful ... and one weekend they even came out at the last minute when I had a problem with my heating. Then recently I decided to add air conditioning too. A/C is quite a hefty expense so I did a lot of research and I took a long time deciding if I wanted to proceed. Ron was very patient and answered every question I had and was very thorough in explaining all the options. Even though several months went by until I finally decided to go ahead Ron never appeared pushy. He actually came out to my house 3 times to go over everything prior to even starting the job. Then the day of the job all his crew (including Garcia Electrical) were very professional and I felt the work was in very capable hands. I also wanted to have a permit. The city inspector came to look over everything a week later and granted the permit without any complications. I am very glad I now have A/C and also that I chose Westside to do the work.
