Mr. Cruz was extremely professional. He worked with me to narrow the scope of work when the budget didn't allow for all work originally contemplated to be done. His crew was punctual, cleaned up the work site well, and did good work.

Everything about this experience was perfect, from the initial inspection of the job to the conclusion. Jimmy was always on time, he visited the job site quickly, he provided a timely proposal, he scheduled a time to do the work, he showed up on time without any reminders, he partitioned off the area to prevent dust from going into other places, he spent hours working.....and the end result was perfection in BOTH appearance and functionality (the water in the shower used to run down under the door because whoever built it sloped it the wrong way-- he shaved down some stones to create a proper slope, and he re-grouted some of the deeper grout lines, so the water now travels in the right direction toward the drain instead of the bathroom floor). Aside from the excellent work, Jimmy was just an excellent person to work with and seemed like a genuinely good and hard-working person. I would definitely work with him again. He really knows what he's doing, doesn't waste any time, and seems to have extensive experience and skill working with stone and tile.

They did an amazing job on my black marble floor. It was all scratched and stained and they left it like a mirror. So I hired them to do the travertine steps and the shower. Great job overall, well worth the price.

It was a difficult job to abate the dust. They professionally tented the working area and they dust proofed area very well. The also restored the marble. The workmanship was excellent. They were great and I was very satisfied with their work.

We called them and they came out right away, within a day. We went with this company, because their estimate was significantly lower than a previous quote we got from another company. Two employees came out at first and then one employee finished the job; it took him about 4 hours. It was a really reasonable price and the work was good.

The crew was very professional and clean. Jose went out of his way to repair certain things at no cost. The marble that was polished throughout looks great and i would hire them again in a heartbeat. Im happy with the work that was performed.

They did an excellent job of replacing the grout around the bathtub walls and also applying a sealer to the ceramic tiles. The tiles are over 80 years old and now look new. They were also very punctual and careful to keep the work area clean.

Jimmy arrived on time. He was very personable. Worked very quietly and cleaned very well afterwards. He did everything that we had agreed upon. His work was excellent. We are very happy with the results and would highly recommended him!

Jose Cruz came as scheduled to give me a quotation. It seemed high from what I had learned on the web and he lowered the price. It was still on the high side but I was willing to pay for a quality job. Jose and his assistant showed up to do the work exactly on time. They meticulously laid down canvas and taped down plastic sheeting to protect surrounding floors. Their work was 80% hands and knees and you could see that they never left a section until it was extremely clean. They went after the grout with little brushes, unlike some providers who essentially give the tile and grout an acid-like wash that gives off noxious odors for hours. The correction of the pockmark, made by a dropped cast iron skillet, was so skillful that none of us could actually find the spot again! Their cleanup was 100%. I would not hesitate for an instant to recommend them for any tile or marble work. They are truly craftsmen.

OUTSTANDING! Owner Jimmy Cruz and his assistant made my stone/granite/tile look BETTER than the day it was installed. I called for an estimate and Jimmy arrived exactly on time the following day at our Cheviot Hills/West LA home for an estimate-- which was very reasonable. We scheduled the job for a few weeks later to suit my schedule and again he arrived exactly at 8:30am to begin work. Jimmy and his assistant worked a full day on my bathroom and were so clean and so quiet that I hardly knew they were in the house. They did an outstanding job in the Master Bath-- which is sizeable and paid close attention to detail and going the extra mile to achieve perfection. Truly-- the bathroom looks better than when originally installed 8 years ago because Jimmy cleaned up the "sloppy" spots of the original installer and made the place look brand new. And the stone floor-- WOW, I'd forgotten how beautiful it was. Jimmy's work cleaning goes well beyond the weekly cleaning I perform, even with my stone steamer. It looks pretty awesome now. The following day, Jimmy and his assistant returned at 8:30 and worked 6 more hours on the kitchen which needed extra work to realign granite seams due to earthquake shifting. The granite now looks like it's brand new and the seams and caulking is perfect. I am thrilled with work performed and can't say enough good things about JJ Marble Restoration. Jimmy's services are well worth clearing counters, the time needed, the slight odor of sealers (just open the windows) and the expense to have this work done. Everything looks fabulous. They did a wonderful job. My floor looks like new!. We found them to be very professional, they showed up exactly when they said they would and got the job done as promised. We will definitely use them again.

José Cruz fixed the problem in about three hours. We were highly pleased with how smoothly it went as well as with the results. We took pictures of the countertop before and after but unfortunately I do not see how to include them in this review.

I remodeled my kitchen in 2005 and unfortunately realized years later that the granite countertops were installed improperly and the marble floors were also installed incorrectly without floating the floors using cement. The granite countertop began cracking around the sink and the floors cracked in linear fashion along the "fault" lines of the matting underneath. I considered replacing all the countertops but decided to check into restoration and repair before incurring the expense of replacement . I requested an estimate from JJ Marble Restoration after reading their positive Angie's List reviews. Jose arrived promptly as scheduled and knew exactly what had been done incorrectly and how to restore. I decided to have a custom marble bathroom vanity top restored and repaired as well as a marble side table as chips had occurred. After receiving an emailed estimate which I felt was fair, I arranged for Jose to do the work. He and his associate (brother?) arrived exactly on time. They put canvas throws to cover the floors leading from the front door to the kitchen, brought in their equipment and started the work. They worked efficiently for almost 8 hours. They cleaned up beautifully. All I can say is the floors have never looked better. The cracks are barely noticeable now and the marble is shined to a high sheen. The granite countertop is amazing --- I didn't believe that the crumbling, cracked granite around the sink could be restored to the point that I can't see the cracks. The vanity and side table were also restored expertly. I will definitely use their services for any stone restoration/repair needs.

Jimmy gave us the estimate. Company employees are all family. As Jimmy projected, the job took three days. Two brother/owners arrived early all days (we had warned them of freeway traffic problems). They worked quietly and efficiently. They told us when they were going on lunch break. At the end of each day, they showed us what they did. They even had to vacuum water that had accumulated under the shower. They definitely know how to seal. All areas were sealed and all chips in our granite were filled. We no longer can feel an indented vein in our bathroom marble counter. Areas around the rooms were protected where they were working. Items that we had failed to clear, they removed for us (we cleared most of it before hand). Each area was cleaned at the end of the day. Day 1: Master bath Day 2 Seal Master bath and do guest bath Day 3 Seal Guest bath and do kitchen. We had gotten an additional bid for this job, which was nearly identical to JJ Marble's, but we had a better feeling with the family owned and run company so went with them. We had similar work done a few years ago by third company, but required them to come back and we still weren't satisfied. This will NOT be the case with JJ Marble. Between the time we got the estimate and the time we had the work done, we were at the epicenter of a moderate earthquake. Quite a bit of additional grout had fallen from the master shower since they initially saw it. We were told that if that grout cracks to call them back. When Jimmy came to give us our estimate and we mentioned Angie's list, he indicated that their company works hard to keep that high rating. Can't ask for more.

Went great. JJ showed up on time to provide an estimate and to do the work. Was clean and efficient. Asked him to come back to take another try at some badly stained spots. He did so without hesitation and re-polished one section. He refused to take any additional money, even though he had already delivered as promised.

He made the first house call, was on time, gave us estimate. Came back on time and fixed the problem. He knew what he was doing, had all tools with him, he was easy to talk to, honest, very organized, and work was finished in a couple of hours. It looks perfect. I never thought it could look like new but it does! My husband and I are thrilled.

We had a leak in the shower due to a valve issue and had another reconstructor tear open the shower, which did an awful job, so I went online to search on Angie's list. JJ Marble was very prompt in responding, came out the next day to give the quote and started working on it the next day after I gave them a call. I had pretty mixed feelings when I was reading all the reviews on their company since they sounded like a tile cleaning company rather than a installation company. But when they came out, they seemed to be pretty confident saying they do this all the time, and they also told us they can guarantee their work for a couple of years so that triggered me to go with them thinking I can have them do it over if something goes wrong. Their price was pretty cheap, and we didn't have a lot of options since the bigger companies wanted to take on bigger projects and the smaller ones seemed to be less professional. During the 2.5 days they were always on time, did a clean work, and cleaned up very well afterwards too. The pricing was very reasonable and they even did the drywall work that I asked them to do afterwards and also found and bought the paint which they covered themselves. My wife did have a small complaint that the tiles weren't 100% even, but I didn't think it was a big deal since the whole wall wasn't exactly 100% even, as they responded, which I agreed to. I might go with another company if I'm doing a bigger job like a bathroom remodeling, but they were the perfect choice for us for the two days work of patching the hole in the wall work that they were doing for us.

JJ was extremely professional with the services provided and covered all areas that weren't to be refinished ie cabinetry, carpeting, wood floors, furniture, etc. ||I'm very pleased with the outcome and I'd recommend JJ Marble to friends! Great experience

Jimmy and Jose were a delight to deal with. Their price was not the lowest bid I received, but they explained why they needed two days to do the job the right way, and it made sense. I have no regrets paying a little more. They were on time both days and finished when they said they would finish. They were very professional and businesslike. The rooms were left in beautiful condition.

I was very pleased with the service Jose came out used plastic to tape off all areas of the house which could get dirty or dusty from the demo. The homeowner provides all materials for the project and I forgot to pickup grout , Jose was nice enough to supply we with a few grout color choices and texted examples of each. It was a painless process he got to work at 8:30 am was on time and finished , he came back the next day at 8:30 sealed and cleaned the area and I had him give me an estimate on another project. So obviously we were pleased with the work and final look of the entry way.

I have used Jose before to refinish my marble and ceramic tile counter-tops. This time, he repaired loose tile in my shower. To do that, he had to remove the tiles that were loose, re-cement them and re-grout them. He did a great job, and after he left, I noticed that he had also filled in some missing grout in a few other places in the shower--which was not part of the original deal. He left my bathroom clean and neat, as well.

They are very nice. They come out when they say they will. If you have any problem you can call them anytime. They are very nice guys. It is family owned so it is very nice and they all seem to know what they are doing. He did a lot of extra things and didn't tack on price for it. He also replaced some missing grout in the shower. I would recommend them to anyone.

JJ Marble did an excellent job from start to finish. They were on time for their initial inspection (to provide a price and time estimate) and when they performed the work. The final price and time spent matched the estimate precisely. The work performed was superb. The floors, counter, and shower are sparkling like they are brand new (even though they are six years old). There were a number of stains on the counter that I was concerned could not be removed, but JJ Marble eliminated all of the stains and did an amazing job. I was very impressed. JJ Marble also did a great job covering everything and cleaning up when they were done. There was not a speck of dust left when they were finished. In short, everything was great. I would not hesitate to use them again.
