All of the work performed was excellent. Mr. Cruz was prompt, professional, and conscientious from when he came by to give a bid through to finishing the job. I highly recommend him. The countertop crack is gone! Mr. Cruz put a lot of effort into making the colors match beautifully. Also the uneven seam is now smooth and even, like it was never there. I really appreciated how careful Mr. Cruz was about keeping his work area clean and minimizing the dust. He courteously answered my many questions. He replaced missing caulking and sealed the counters. The grout and caulk work he did in the shower was top notch. I could not be more pleased. He has every reason to take great pride in his work. It was a job well done!

Wow, just a fantastic job by Jose and his crew. These guys worked very hard. They got started at 9am and finished at 4pm with a lunch. Most of the other contractors I have used are in and out . Plus, I have paid three times as much for half of the quality of work. They were very careful in protecting all the surrounding surfaces. There are few out there that do this kind of work. JJ is the best I have used. I wish I had found them long ago.

I contacted them via Angie's List email. They called me and suggested they come out and take a look. They showed up and they were punctual and provided me with a proposal. The day they did the work they showed up on time. They protected the surfaces they were cleaning, did the work and left the showers looking like new. Their prices were reasonable and I would use them again.

They were very prompt, price was fair, and they did a first rate job. I put downt the floors over 4 years ago, and they look better than when I put them in -- and they take a lot of wear with 2 large dogs. He also fixed a very badly damaged section of the tile that was very eroded and deformed from a chemical burn. The repair job was quite impressive, given the amount of damage. I was sure i would have to replace the tile, but its as good as new. These guys are among the more competant contractors i have dealt with.

I had interviewed a number of individuals to refinish a marble shower that had become stained. Many were less expensive and a few higher. On meeting Jimmy Cruz, the owner it was apparent he knew what he was doing and I felt I would get a quality job. I was not disappointed in any way. One factor in my choice was that he and his brother, Pancho would actually be doing the work. I wasn't dealing with a commissioned salesman which I try and avoid whenver possible. He estimated three days and that is what it took. I felt very comfortable having him in my home and would highly recommend him.

I first hired JJ Marble Restoration to fix a hairline fracture on my kitchen granite counter top about two years ago; they did an excellent job on it. I decide to call them back and test them on a bigger job this time....clean my kitchen floor where has never been professionally clean since installed 10 years ago, apply sealer to the kitchen granite counter top and caulking the tiles in the bathroom where is needed. Jimmy, Jose and Sam came on time, they move the table and chairs out of their way. They first applied sealer to the counter top, then clean the floor and finish it with polish and sealer. They put the table and chairs back where they belong. They check all three bathrooms and re-caulk the tiles where is needed. They work quietly and clean up the place before they leave the house. JJ Marble Restoration did a very good job on my floor and it looks like brand new. Their workmanship are very good. I have tried this company twice with small and big job, I am totally satisfied with them both time. I can't think of any negative things about this company, so I decide to add JJ Marble Restoration on my "House Maintenance" list. JJ Marble Restoration definitely won my business.

I called Jimmy based on the great reviews and I wasn't disappointed. He came out and gave me an estimate. He fixed a bunch of deep and ugly cracks in what is otherwise a beautiful granite floor. He and his partner came out on a saturday and worked for hours to get it exactly right. Their repair job is truly impressive. You would never even realize there are cracks in the floor unless you knew to look for them. I'll definitely call Jimmy again with any granite or marble problems.

It was a great experience. They were very professional and responsive. They were on time and did very good quality work. I would highly recommend them. Their price was a little high, but they did great work.

He came to look at the work and gave an estimate, which was very reasonable. They came the following week on time and took a bit over 5 hours to finish the job. Very happy with it.

I was recovering from a disastrous (unlicensed, and in violation of building codes) slate shower installation, so I know what a bad one looks like. He took out the old shower tiles and wallboard, hauled away all the materials, and rebuilt the new one in 4 days. He uses time very well; he?s efficient, organized and doesn?t waste time. When I initially contacted him, he came to my house that day and emailed me a bid within two days. Besides a beautiful job rebuilding my slate shower, he did several extra things for me: picked up the slate from where I ordered it (over 30 miles round trip), repaired the grout on the bathroom floor, painted the repaired wall area, refinished my concrete bathroom counter, resealed the backsplash edge on my kitchen counter, and refinished a tile on my front porch as a sample in response to my question about that as a potential job. He was only going to charge me $250 for all the extra work but I insisted on paying more. At the end of the job he left my house clean. Although he had three other men working with him, he was on site working for the entire job. He came on time every day. His bid was significantly lower (at least 25%) than 3 others but in no way reflects the value of the work that is the highest quality; he's a perfectionist. I wouldn?t hesitate to hire Jos? Cruz again. He?s a gentleman and an artist.

There were 4 people working for 4-5 days. Their work is excellent. They are very nit picky, which I am too. I highly recommend them. They are puntual, neat, and they just work until the job is done. I'm just so thrilled with them. I'm so glad I had all of this work done.

Picked JJ from Angie's list. Jimmy promptly return my call and made an appointment to come to the house. Jimmy showed up on time and provided a faxed proposal the same day. Jimmy and his crew arrived at 8 a.m. on the day agreed upon. The crew taped and protected with tarps woodwork and walls. They were incredibly professional and hard-working and completed the job sooner than origianlly estimated. The limestone and marble floors look like new and have really changed the look of the rooms. I can highly recommend Jimmy and JJ marble restoration.

Jimmy was everything as rated in the above categories. He completed the job on time and was honest in his evaluation of what he could and could not do in restoring my marble floors. The first guy who came out to give me an evaluation and estimate had indicated he could get out an existing scratch on the floor, no problem. However, Jimmy's findings was that the floor had been marred by the previous owner and could not be restored and that by replacing those tiles damaged was the only solution. We opted not to do that; nonetheless, without replacing the tiles, looked as good as new in the end.

They did a terrific job. They are very accommodating. Very nice guys and very nice to do business with.

I called the company for a quote and Jose came by within a few days and gave me a quote that was much lower than three other quotes I've received. On the first day of a three day job, three professional, skilled men came to my home exactly on time (as they did on day 2 and 3) and completed the job within the time stated. They moved furniture without any problems (my walls looked beautiful after the job was done), did the work without creating dust and mess, and were polite and considerate. I was so pleased with their work that I did not use the available coupon - the owner insisted I use it, but I just would have tipped the same amount. On Sunday I sent an email asking about some small holes near the shower door that weren't filled -he wrote back immediately and sent one of his men over to complete the job.

They not only did an excellent job, the entire process was smooth and professional. I called Jimmy on Thursday and he came out the same day and gave me a bid. We scheduled the work for Monday. He and his guy showed up on time. They were quiet, clean and efficient. The price was the same price as quoted even though I had them do extra work. Jimmy quoted 2 to 3 days up front and the job took 2.5 days. I would highly recommend JJ Restoration!

I bought this house 6 months ago. In the Master Bath, the glass shower door would not close completely. Water leaked out of the one-half inch opening and under the door because the slate threshold had become uneven due to long neglected water leakage. Jimmy leveled the slate threshold so the door could close properly and caulked seams that had deteriorated due to the water leakage. He showed up when he said he would, did the repair to his and my satisfaction, stayed til the fresh caulking had sufficiently dried, left the workplace spotless and charged a very reasonable fee. I had called a larger company earlier, but the job was too small for them to bother. Jimmy Cruz saved the day for me.

The craftsmanship is fabulous! They were 100% responsive, prompt and negotiated with me so I could actually get the work done. The most important thing is that we are 100% satisfied with them!

Last month I found a small crack on my kitchen granite counter top and I need someone to fix it. By luck I found Jimmy Cruz through my neighborhood reference book. He came to give me an estimate and the price sound o.k. to me, so I decided to hire him to do the job. Jimmy and his brother Jose came to work on the counter. They covered my kitchen floor with a piece of plastic before they started. Jimmy worked on the fracture while Jose re-caulked the area where needed. They also applied a sealer on the counter. Jimmy did a very good job on the fracture area, it looks like one whole piece again. I am real pleased with his work. They cleaned up when they finished. Both Jimmy and Jose are polite and courteous. I definitely will hire them again if I needed.
