He did a really good job. He gets the work done efficiently and is very thorough and is just good all around. I would definately give him an A. I would recommend him to others.

Everything went extremely well. Gary arrived precisely at 8 a.m., looked at the re-grouting job and started to work. He wasn't able to finish everything in one day, so he made an appointment for the following week to come back and seal countertops and to hang the bathroom fixtures. Gary behaved in a professional manner, worked quickly without wasting time with a lot of small talk (a definite plus for me). He charges $50 per hour, which I felt was very fair for the quality and the speed of the work.

Nice guy. Prompt. Two visits. Grout work neat and clean. Some of the grout between bottom of tub and tile floor is separating and, the grout between the floor tiles and door thresholds is cracked and loose. So far, the grout on the tub and tile walls is solid.

Gary always arrives on time. He has a great attitude. He's knowledgeable. He's honest. He's thorough. He enjoys his work and never minds a challenge. He advised us what patches were necessary, went off and purchased the necessary materials, did the work and executed everything within just a few hours.

It went great. Gary's a conscientious worker. Put in 10 hours straight, from 8-6 to finish in one day. He's a good guy.

I am very pleased and have already scheduled Gary to come back one day next week as well.

Gary can be trusted to do the job right even if you live out of town and have to give him first directives through email. He promptly responded back by email (& phone when needed) and took his own unbilled time to read and review photos of the multiple projects I had for him. He and the Mrs. also sent back photos of finished work on his own time too. So you really get your money's worth as he does the job, 1,2 3 without drama or delay. He is efficient with his time and I am sure if I had the materials he needed so he didn't have to go get them the cost would have been considerably lower. When I met up with him in between projects, I also received the cash register receipts for the paint, etc. and he doesn't mark them up. He also will tell you if he can't do a job too (tear out old AT&T phone hardware) which separates him from the fools that can do everything -whether it is wise or not.

He has been excellent, he listens to what you want, he cleans up well, he brings all the necessary materials needed for the job, he is easy to get along with, he has reasonable pricing and he is very punctual.

Superb. Fast and knowledgeable. Did all the work above and more in two hours.

He responded to my calls and emails right away. He was on-time both times. He provided all the materials needed and, in the case of the door-frame, was able to fix the part that was rotten without replacing the whole frame, thus saving me $200-300. I was very pleased with the result.

After not receiving responses from several other handyman services I contacted via Angie's List. I called Gary Iselt and sent him an email message. He responded to my email message the next day, and we scheduled the work to be done via email, which I liked. He arrived right on time and wasted no time in getting to the work. Everything went smoothly, and he finished ahead of schedule. Gary has a two hour minimum. Rather than leave after the specific job was done, he stayed around another 30 min. to provide consultation on several other upcoming home projects, which I appreciated. Nice bloke. It was a positive experience, and I'd happily contact him again for the next home repair or home improvement project I have.

Gary came to my house on two successive days. He was very prompt on both days. He was professional and prompt and affable. He cleaned up carefully after his work. Gary is a diligent worker, and did all the tasks listed above skillfully. I asked him what his areas of specialization or expertise were, and he said he likes to work with wood, some electrical work, and is mechanical.

Gary is a wonderfully nice, knowledgeable, trustworthy and diligent handyman. He arrived on time and calmed assessed a complicated problem. He was engaged by the challenge that over 14 different appliance and plumbing companies had simply refused to work on including SEARS, where I bought the Kenmore Washer-Dryer. He is strong & confident and (with the help of our appliance dolly) moved out the washer unit, and diagnosed the scope of the problem. Progressively, he moved methodically and patiently through the entire process. He made a couple of trips to get the exactly right part at Lincoln Pipe His attitude throughout was optimistic and positive. He really seemed to enjoy the work and the difficult puzzle. The entire job took 4 and 1/2 hours and still the bill, with parts, was under $200.00. PLUS, he willingly looked at a couple of other items that need fixing and happily agreed to come back to help with those. He lives in our neighborhood, too. Our thanks to Angie's List!

Gary called me back within a few hours for a bid on the job. He charged a reasonable hourly rate for his work performed He showed up each morning right on time and stayed each day until the work he said he would be able to do that day was complete. He was very organized and neat, always polite and considerate. Very honest and trustworthy. It was a pleasure having him work at my home.

Gary was on time, ran out to get necessary materials, and completed each item on my list very quickly and with a smile. He is professional, polite and skilled. From now on I will call Gary for repairs rather than asking my husband to do them. I highly recommend Gary. He charges $40/hour with a two hour min.

Gary is terrific - he is trustworthy, does quality work, is reliable and has reasonable pricing. My situation is tricky because not only do I have to like him and the work he does, but my tenants have to like him and the work he does. Gary scored on both points. I am very happy, and will absolutely be a repeat customer.

My first experience with Gary (and Angie's List) went extremely well. I was looking for someone who lived near by and who didn't mind small jobs. Gary was my first call and I'm glad he responded. My e-mail asked for the wall fix plus the installation of an electrical wall switch. Gary's response was prompt and smart. He asked all the right questions to avoid coming unprepared. He bought the drywall and an install box for the switch on his way to my house, arrived exactly on time, assessed the job and got to work. I was very ill and couldn't oversee much but Gary worked quietly and quickly. When the plaster work was done, he cleaned up and was ready to do the electrical work but I asked him to do it when he came back to touch up the wall and he was fine with that. Believe me, I will be using him again and again. When Aussies say, "No worries", they're talking about him.

Gary showed up on time and assessed the jobs -- he was sure the shower door rollers could be replaced and therefore we would not need to replace the doors or frame (saving hundreds of dollars I thought we needed to spend). He left our home to go to the hardware store and had difficulty finding parts to fix a 30 year old light; Gary called me from the store to say he needed to go to another more specialized store to get the needed parts and would therefore be delayed by 1/2 hour. I was surprised (and happy) to get his call so I knew what was happening. Even with the added travel time the work was done more quickly than I expected. Gary's rates are very reasonable and all the work was done well and quickly. He was tidy in his work and cleaned up impeccably, sweeping the floor with a hand whisk broom to remove the last bits of dust. I would be very happy to hire him again.

Gary was a few minutes early. We had water damage on the molding around a sliding glass door. Gary examined the stucco and seams around the exterior of the door and could not find any cracks or gaps. He did find some cracks along the flashing on the edge of the roof, which he patched. He also replaced a bathroom fan/light. Gary charges $40 an hour with a two hour minimum.

Called Gary on the phone on Wednesday asked if he could give us an estimate on Friday. My daughter met him at the apartment and showed him the old lighting. He said he would charge $50 per hour and it would take about 2 to 3 hours. He asked us to purchase the lights we wanted installed. He said he could be back on Sunday morning to do the work. We agreed to 9:00 AM on Sunday. Gary was on time and did the work he said he would in just less than 3 hours. The lights work fine.

Everything went great. Gary was accommodating,professional, and on time. He had great suggestions for how and where to mount the fan. There was not previously an electrical box on the ceiling, but he has an electrical background and had no problem getting everything up there. I had to work the day Gary came to do the job, but I felt very comfortable leaving him at my house, and he called later to tell me he had finished the job earlier than he had estimated, which I thought was really cool and honest, I would have otherwise had no idea what time he left, and he could have easily charged me for the whole day. I will definitely use him again.

Told me a few days before, that he would come over on Saturday, sometime between 10:00 & 12:00, after another appointment. He said he could look at what needed to be done, give me an estimate, and get started. Cleared my Saturday, to wait for him. He called at 11:00 am from his car, to say his wife had just reminded him they had other plans for Saturday, and he couldn't come by. He offered to come Sunday, but I elected to pass.

Gary arrived on time and did a great job.
