Description of Work: I needed to have the inside of my car cleaned and bought a Big Deal from Starr Detail. However, before I did, I called them to make sure they could do the work immediately, within 24 hours, at my work. Mark returned my call within hours and assured me that they could do the job. He then instructed me to purchase the Big Deal (which I liked because it really was the ethical approach) and then schedule the service. I did as he requested and again, his customer service was fabulous. His worker, Ken, came out today and my car looks and smells wonderful, like it was just delivered from the factory. I am very pleased.

Description of Work: Mark cancelled the original appt. as he had something wrong with the truck they use. For the second try, Ken called before coming early to see if that was okay, which it was. He and his helper helped me clean out the car, did a good job of washing, cleaning and waxing. The carpets were well cleaned, although I don't think they did the sides of the trunk area, as I noticed spots that were left. as One thing, which I reported to Mark, was the use of deodorizer wafer, two of them left under the front driver and passenger seat. Since I have allergies to all things airborne and am sensitive to smell I started sneezing as soon as I got into the car, so went on a search for the offending "wafers" and discarded them. It took a couple of days for the strong smell to dissipate. Mark assured me that they should have asked if I wanted the deodorizer, and promised to mention it to them. It was satisfactory, and the price was fair.

Description of Work: Detail was done on my car as promised and looked okay. I had some concerns after the job and noticed scratch marks in several areas on my car. I called Mark the owner and explained my concern to him and even took a digital picture of the scratch marks and sent it to him. He called me back expressing my concerns and told me he would be out to inspect it. I set two appointments with him both of which he canceled, one was his guys took to long on a job, theother was due to rain.. The owner Mark appears to be customer service oriented, but cannot stick to his word, I have still yet to see him or his workers. I tried patiently to give him a chance but after two weeks and excuses I am feed up. Stay away from this business if you want peace of mind. Also I noticed similar complaints on other reveiws sites regarding Mark telling people he will take care of your concerns and continues to reschedule the appointment. Excuses, excuses!!!!! Seems to me the leopard does not change his spots!

Description of Work: I also gave them each $5 as a tip. All car washes, as did StarrMobile, miss cleaning the leather around the gear shift. Nor does anyone clean. I told my son about the detail deal - he pays $89 for his truck which he uses to sell hardwood floors. He wants his vehicle to represent a part of his appearance/presentation.

Description of Work: They did an amazing job. My Highlander had heavy waterspots on half of it because of neighbors' sprinklers and they charged an extra $50 to get those off. The guys were very nice and did a great job -- spent about 2 hours detailing the car and afterward it looked almost like new. I had people in the car several days later and they mentioned that it looked new without me even mentioning that I had had the car cleaned. I would definitely use them again.

Description of Work: I purchased the auto detailing "big deal" for my husband for an anniversary gift. The gentlemen from Starr arrived early Saturday morning as promised, and did a fantastic job on my husbands truck. There were four associates who did everything from shampoo the interior to cleaning the tires, wheels (even the wheel wells), undercarrage and entire exterior of the vehicle. They applied a teflon protectant that made the vehicle look showroom new. It looked great! I would definitely use them again and most likely will for my own car. I was very impressed ... which normally isn't easy to do. Thank you Starr Detailing and Angie's list!
