Was responsive but we did not use. Teenage neighbor washed the car!

They didn't come. They didn't do anything. There was a scheduling thing going on and they couldn't do this and couldn't do that. The day we scheduled it, they didn't show up. I contacted them by e-mail after that. I talked on the phone to somebody from Angie's List and said I didn't want to use them anymore. I wasn't happy with them.

Did a good job. Car looks great. The only thing I want to do now is see how long it lasts.

DIfficult to schedule and was a no-show on one occasion. When job was finally completed, they did a fine job. Would not use again.

I canceled the work order after the no-show.

1. Called to make appointment and left voice-mail to call me back to schedule. Mark Amaya responded to my voice-mail 36 hours later. Scheduled 9 a.m. appointment and requested Mark let me know asap of any schedule changes. He agreed. 2. Day and time of appointment - no show by Starr Detail with no phone call to me either before or after the missed appointment. Literally, no show and no communication. Waited 4 days then was forced to call them to reschedule. The given explanation was that Mark Amaya had brain surgery on day of my appointment and he was the only one with the appointment calendar. Since it was 4 days after my no-show appointment, I take that story with a large grain of salt as I can't believe that a professional operation wouldn't have immediately been on the phone with customers proactively to explain or reschedule in the event of an emergency. 3. Rescheduled appointment for 12 noon. By 1215pm no one has shown up so having prior experience with their no-show, I called them and was told detailers should have called me to advise me of tardiness. I told him no one had called me and he promised to have them call me immediately and update me on their new arrival time. Half an hour later, I get a call from the detailers on the road with all sorts of typical L.A. traffic excuses for their tardiness and they finally arrive by 115pm for a noon appointment. 4. The actual detail work was just ok but was an abbreviated version of a full detail job. I know because I've had my car fully detailed every quarter since I've owned it. Upon my review of the work completed, I had to ask them to clean several areas in the leather upholstery and dash that had not been cleaned properly and were still dirty as well as wiping heavy dirt from around the trunk opening that didn't get cleaned during the car wash. Vastly not impressed and will not use them again. I definitely don't feel I got my $99's worth.

They did a really super job. very courteous, hard working. The carpet was a bit wet for a few days. Thank you angie's list.

I was very pleased, they did a great job on my floor mats and carpeting.

Everything went smoothly. They arrived on time, finished on time and did what I asked them to do. The cars came out looking like new and were spotless both inside and out. The two men who did the job were amiable and very unobtrusive. I have been using this service for several years with no complaints.

Made several appointments. Nobody showed. I'd get an e-mail later. To be fair I am located outside their normal service area.

That went fine. I would give them a 9 out of 10. With the deal, it was good pricing. If I needed them, I would probably use them again.

The first scheduled appointment, Starr Detail did not show up, nor did I receive a phone call, text or email indicating that they were not coming. I had to reach out both calling and emailing to find out why they missed my appointment. I received an email the next day with the explanation that they had the flu. I rescheduled for two weeks later. They were an hour late, but the quality of the service was very good.

While the two person crew arrived a bit late, they did a beautiful job and were very thorough. This was a $99 big deal and worth every penny.

I love Starr Detail! have used them 4 times now, and would not use anyone else. They respond quickly and courteously, my appointment is scheduled promptly, even though I live at the far border of their service area, and they are meticulous when it comes to cleaning and detailing my automobile. Wouldn't hesitate to use them weekly if they were closer and had weekly/monthly service in my area.

Fantastic work. Mark scheduled our appointment and the fellows arrived on time, worked diligently, and were a terrific team. Best of all, the car was beautiful. The paint looks shining new! The fellows said the secret was a "clay" that removed the dulled paint and water minerals/dirt. Conscientiousness! and Excellence! Starr Detail, Inc is an Angie's List Rock STAR.

The provider stated he was in the hospital. My appt was never made. Nor a call made to me. I took time from work to be home for my appt. I was willing to reschedule, but they stated I possibly had to wait another 1-2 weeks. No special arrangements were made for me. I feel the provider should have tried harder to accommodate me due to the circumstances.

Work was fine and near perfectly done by very polite young men. Problems were with the "home office" where normal channels of communication, e-mail and telephone messages got no response.

It never went despite many efforts on my part.

They did a magnificent job! Very detailed, but were short staffed at the time.

they had a lot of excuses about why they couldnt come to my work - and accommodating my schedule, even thought that was part of the advertisement. ive had better work done by a basic hand car wash in k-town for $55. detail my a**.

How did it go NOT WELL... First off the value stated was 365.00 for 99.00.. being that my vehicle is a SUV it was an additional 25.00 which is fair.. I also had another service performed and that was polishing the highlights lens and that was additional 50.00.. did it do any good- no.. The vehicle was left with water spots, dirty carpets, and the trunk area completely looked as no one even touch it.. Either the guys didn't have the right tools or solutions but the interior was a mess.. except for one detail.. they did clean my seat which was slightly tinted black as I wear primary black cloths. If this was truly a 365.00 dollar value I wouldn't be sitting here having to write a negative report.. I would I use this vendor again- NO For the 99.00 worth of work I could have gone to my location wash garage and had it taken care of for about 79.00 and paid for what was rendered.. Not inflating the value to 365.00..

This is the first mobile detail I have ever had done and I felt that the price was fair compared to car washes. The job was completed in about two hours. They did a really good job overall.

It was fine. They stayed within the $129 deal. They tried to up sell but I did not avail it. The car detail was good and the car was clean afterwards.

Fine. I would probably use them again.
