I was very impressed with my experience with Starr Mobile Auto Detailing. The company was very responsive to my request for service. Starr Mobile seemed to be very organized and they a good job with the work they performed. I would consider using them again.

The mobil crew showed up on time and did an excellent job detailing my three cars and pickup detailed. It took them all day to detail the four vehicles. They did such a good job, I had the do my RV the following weekend.

They arrived on time at my office. They sent a crew of 4 guys. They completed each car within 60 - 90 minutes. The cars look terrific and withstand the elements well. I have used Starr Detailing for a couple of years now. They always do excellent work.

I used their services. I like them a lot. I thought the guys were very responsible. If the price is right I would use them in the future.

I found them on Angie's List. I like very much that they come to their customer. Everything was fine with what they did.

Everyone I spoke with or encountered with the company was professional, courteous and responsive. They arrived at my home very close to the scheduled time and were completely independent (didn't require anything from me). They did a nice job detailing our two cars, and having the mobile service was very convenient. The two men performing the work were pleasant and we tipped them accordingly. The deal was advertised as a $279 detail for $149. We got a detail job that was worth much closer to $149 than $279. That is why I gave FAIR ratings to quality and price. The service was what I expect for the price paid, but not the value advertised.

Two Starr employees arrived in Fountain Valley 45 minutes late, but they had traveled a long way from the LA area, and I was not on a tight schedule so I was OK with that. They worked hard, but when they showed me the finished detail, it was not finished. There were a lot of dead bugs stuck on the front, even the front license plate had dead bugs all over it. The underside on the sides had not been cleaned, and there was dirt and grease on the doorjambs (on the door and the part on the car). I had the guys fix those areas. Then I realized none of the exterior rubber or plastic had been treated. Their web site says the detail includes rubber dressing/trim. I asked to have it done, and the guys told me two different things: first they said they no longer do the trim, but I said their web site lists it. Then they said they were pulling a new trailer and it hadn't been stocked with all the products so they had nothing but Armor All for the rubber. I declined that. They were in a hurry to leave because they had another appointment an hour away and they were running late. The final result was a clean interior, a decent wash & wax (they used a clay bar on the hood and sides, that looked really good), but not the 'pop' you get with the black trim dressed. There were still dead bugs on the underside in the front (MDX has a triangular front profile), which I ended up removing with some cleaner wax. I also ended up purchasing product to treat the rubber and plastic trim myself. I contacted Mark by e-mail and let him know I was disappointed in the work, and I had not tipped the guys (which is a first for me) because I was unhappy with: a) having to show them areas to clean and b) the lack of trim dressing. I did not specifically ask him to do anything, but I was surprised he did not offer to either send someone else to finish the job, refund some money, or discount a future service. He was very nice, but not especially concerned about the experience.

They did a good job except they did not do any buffing. There were some marks left and I believe could have been buffed out but other than that it was good.

Went perfectly... The staff arrived early. Went right to work. Worked with a plan. They were methodical, worked hard, they were neat, clean and cleaned up the area when finished. Very courteous and professional. Great job!

I was sooo impressed with Starr Detailing! I purchased coupons from Angie's Deal, called and was able to set up an appointment for the next day. Mark was very friendly and helpful and answered all of my questions about options and prices for extra work I wanted. Alex and his partner arrived and spent time with me going over my concerns and giving me information in a courteous, thorough manner. I know the company is very busy, but I was never made to feel that I was bothering anyone or wasting their time. And the service was beyond believable! Alex found 2 scratches/dings that I, meticulous as I am, did not know about. They took care of those, as well as removing scratches that I had pointed out to them. From start to finish, everything went very smoothly. After Alex explained what they were going to do and answered my questions, they got down to work. They were finished within 2 hours, we spent some time going over what they had done, Alex answered a few more of my questions and they were done. No hassle, no interruption to my day. My car has never looked better! I intend to use them again frequently and would not hesitate to recommend them to friends and family.

I was very happy with the detailing service of Starr Mobile Auto Detailing. Nothing went untouched. I was particularly pleased with how well they cleaned the windows! The two guys who came were pretty late for our appointment, but they did call ahead, explained that they had been busier than expected due to the holiday rush & also hit quite a bit of traffic coming over. They were kind enough to do a high gloss polish on my car that usually costs quite a bit extra, to make up for the late arrival. Their work was efficient & they guys were so nice to work with. My car just shined when they finished. I will absolutely use them again the next time I'm ready for a detail & highly recommend them to Angie's List members.

I recently purchased a Jaguar XKR Portfolio edition, and want to keep it looking new as long as I possible can. I do a significant amount of freeway driving, where my bumpers have historically been beaten up, so paint protection/clear bra was a must for me. I did my homework, and know exactly what material I wanted used on my vehicle. I decided on the VentureShield paint protection film. A quick Google search will bring up several providers that do paint protection, but I now know NO ONE does it with as much professionalism and detail as Starr Detail. Lines were seamless, and custom fitted to my vehicle to ensure an exact fit. Jay, the installer didn't like the pre-fab cut, so he custom cut the bottom piece, and treated the vehicle with the amount of pride a new owner would. From my initial inquiry to the completion of the job, I felt like my business was valued by Starr Detail, which is hard to find these days. Their professional integrity along with unparallelled customer service and exquisite attention to detail have made me a customer for life - Thank you Mark, Thank you Jay!

Mark called & emailed to confirm date & start time, arrived very punctually. 2 guys worked very independently and quickly; completed in less than 3 hours. These guys look like children, but are obviously very competent. I asked for them to pay specific attention to some smudges and scratches, and they followed my requests. They weren't able to remove all scratches, but I don't expect miracles.

No complaints. Everyone was very professional.

Overall very happy. The interior was detailed by 2 very professional guys who were on time and did a great job.

I had purchased 8 AngiesList.com Big Deals coupons for $99 Exterior (OR) Interior Detailing. I made an appointment with Mark on the phone for Thursday, September 29, 2011. on Tuesday, September 27 to have 3 of my vehicles detailed. I told Mark that I would be using the coupons for them. Scheduling was a breeze. It was set for 9:00am-9:30am. Mark gave me a call the next day and informed me that his crew will arrive between 9:30am-10:00am instead due to the distance to my area. Greatly appreciate the call Mark. Thank you. On Thursday morning at 10am, Miguel and Armand arrived and was ready to get cleaning. I had other contractors working on my garage in the back, so Miguel and Armand setup on my driveway at the front of the house, they were very cooperative to park close to the left of the driveway in case anyone needed to leave. I had them start cleaning my Porsche Cayenne S first, followed by the Golf GTI, then my wife's BMW Z4, and lastly the Lexus LS 430. Miguel informed me that there was an additional cost for the SUV, as well as the 1 engine cleaning for the SUV, and I do appreciate it that he told me before the service even began. Both Miguel and Armand worked from 10am to about 3pm. They never stopped in the middle really, just kept on doing their work from start to finish all the way through. Miguel informed me that he will do the best he can to remove the water spots that were on my SUV from my own mistake of not having to wipe down the car after I sprayed my car using the garden hose. He was also very informative to let me know that I could get a filter to produce oxidized water for my hose at the local hardware store, if I wanted to wash my car without water spots. Thank you again Miguel, I really appreciate the tip. After Miguel and Armand completed the first two vehicles, Miguel asked me if I had looked over the cleaned cars and I told him that I had not yet looked over them. He told me he likes his customers to look over the completed job and let him know if any extra attention were needed to be taken care of. Again, I really like his honesty and customer service. I looked over the completed cars and the rims were bling, the body was shining off the sun and I could see the surrounding reflecting off of it, the upholstery were super clean (both cloth and leathers), but when I checked the storage compartments and one of the trunks of the cars, I was a little sad that the compartments were not vacuumed or wiped down, so I reported back to Miguel and informed him of this. He assured me that it was okay to let him know what's wrong, that he was sorry that he had forgotten about it and that he would take care of it again once he had completed the remaining cars. On the Lexus LS, this car had been sitting dirty for quite a long time and has not only tree sap and dirt stuck on the exterior, but the what once used to be nice beige leather, now had shades of grey from collected dirt on the interior. I asked Miguel to do what he could with the interior as I had little hope that even he could bring it back to new. When Miguel was done with the LS, he asked me to have a look over and to my surprise, again, the whole car looked like new! Inside and out! Again! Rims were super bling, body acted like a mirror, and greatest part of all, all the interior cloth and leather were super cleaned. The car looked like when I first saw it at the dealership, new! Unfortunately, I forgot to take photos of this service call this time, but I will definitely call for another appointment again, as I still have two more complete detailing coupons to go. Thank you! Only reason I gave pricing a, B, is because even at $169.oo for their complete detailing and $99.oo for their exterior/interior detailing coupons, compared to what I used to pay for a complete detailing job in the long past at $135.oo with a competitor that used a toothbrush to clean the rims, the price seemed more expensive to me. Though, as their website states, "Catering to the Entertainment Industry." I can understand why. Still they were very hard working, and Miguel and Armand left a good image for me of their company and services. Thank you. My roommate saw his GTI and said, "Wow! I never saw my car so shiny before! Thanks." My mother looked over her LS and said, "Thank God! It's so clean now. I was worried that the car would have stayed wasted and hopeless. They did a great job!."

Excellent work! I purchased the special on Angie's List and we couldn't be more pleased. This car was dirty. And I mean DIRTY. My husband used to smoke cigars (no more, thank goodness!) and he uses this car as an office sometimes. So, I have to confess, that we were a little anxious about what the detailers would be faced with when they arrived! We even thought to clean the car before they came! But it worked out great. The two gentlemen who showed up (early, I might mention) went to work right away and we definitely got our money's worth! They shampooed, vacuumed, polished and cleaned almost every crack and crevis in that car for a long time. They even showed off how the vinyl interior was brown with cigar, but no more! It was so cute because when we were all apologetic over the condition of the interior, they said they liked it because the results were so great! And they were right. Worth every penny and we will definitely use Starr again.
