Hard to set up appointment. Left several messages with no callbacks. When I did get to speak with him, provider "balked" at providing service in Orange County at advertised price. Wanted $50 extra. I told him to discuss it with Angie's List. Provider dropped issue. Set up for a Friday. Didn't show or call. Then called following day stating he was out-of-town previous day, so he couldn't call me back when I left message on appointment day. Said the appointment was for the following Friday. I rechecked emails and found MY understanding was supported by his emails to me. Second Friday the workers showed up 2 hrs late, but I did get call that a.m. saying I was #2 on that day's schedule, No complaints on actual work done.

My 1997 Buick Riviera had been parked outdoors for the past eight years. Also, the carpets were heavily soiled and the interior coverings dusty. Previous detailers claimed the carpet spots were permanent. The front rims were caked with debris and the back one didn't look that great either. Two personable young men from Starr Detailing arrived a little early to detail my car. I gave them the keys and they cleaned the car inside and outside, including the trunk. The cleaning consisted of dusting, shampooing, and polishing. Every inch of interior carpet was well shampooed, especially the floor rugs. The spots and dust are gone. The rims sparkle. The pièce de résistance was the car's newly polished exterior. It looks magnificent! I went outside several times after the job had been completed just to gaze at the rims and polished exterior. The detailers completed their wonderful detailing in about 1-1/2 hours and returned a coin purse I had misplaced. I'm a happy customer.

We arrange for car detailing when I called to book the appointment I asked if they came to San Clemente where I live and they said yes they did. The appointment was set for 9am at 10 am when no one had showed I called and did not get a response (I left a voice mail message which was never returned) I then sent an email asking what was going on a little while later I received an email stating they were in traffic and we were too far away so they were not coming. I was told to contact Angies list for a refund. No apology, no phone call back.

It went as expected. It went well. The owner was very patient and reactive in scheduling, as I was past the coupon date. When I called him around the expiration date he said he'd be willing to work with me and just wanted to know when I'd be available. So that was very much appreciated. They did a good job.

Washed, shampooed, polished everything. There were 3 people at our house for about 4 hours. Great job.

Just ok. They probably did $80 worth of work. The job was not bad but not as good as we are accustomed to.

Starr Detail Inc. has come out a number of times and I have had positive experiences each time. The owner was exceptionally flexible and helpful in meeting my schedule.

Went fine, they showed up, did one car and then the other and then departed. No muss, no fuss.

I purchased a Big Deal for Starr Detail Inc. for them to come to the house and clean my car. They did great job on the outside of the car but the inside was not that good.

Their ad says they cover Ventura county, but they will not go to your area unless they have enough business in that area, so their coupon is useless if you want the service in the near future and you cannot use it. Also they tell you to get your money back from Angies list, and Angies list does not respond timely to inquires from Paypal, so I had to escalate to a claim.

Far exceeded past detail jobs done at car washes. Int and extlooked better than they have in years. For the few extra dollars it cost n-- well worth it,

They showed up on time, were friendly, efficient and completed the job when they said they would. We were out of the house when they finished and they called us to let us know they were done and left the keys where we asked them. I would highly recommend Starr Detail Inc. to anyone.

They did a good job but arrived an hour early and I was not ready for them.

This mobile detailer did a super job on my SUV. They were able to schedule a day within my timeline and even called to tell me they could start earlier which was perfect for my schedule. The staff was friendly, did their job to a tee and even managed to squeeze in an unscheduled quick exterior was for my car as well. I'd definitely call to hire them again.

Very professional and curteous, and on time

The guys showed up on time. They were polite and worked very quickly. I have purchased a few detail packages around town and this was by far the best. They made my wifes old car look like new and I it sold the following week. The tint job on the new car looks great too. I will definitely use Starr Detail again.

They show up on time, they were very pleasant. With the detailing they did everything well but I had them came back like a month later to wash the car and they didn't clean the well so that wasn't god.

Starr did an excellent job. My 6 year old truck looks like new inside and out.

. .There were some scheduling problems - some on my part but some on their part also. I had to call when when he was more than an hour late and also, I waited twice and he was a no show. I know that one time I had the correct date, although they said that I was incorrect, another time I accepted that I may have written down a wrong date. Also, they did not return my call for several days and when I sent them an e-mail stating that I was going to have to go back to Angie's list they did call me then, and finally got the job done.

My car was in terrible need of a thorough was and wax. The interior was also dusty and had a couple of food spills in it. For the most part, the car looked wonderful when they were done. The outside was super clean and shiny. The inside had been shampooed in the front and nicely cleaned. Even the trunk was thoroughly cleaned. My only complaint would be that they put all of the rubber mats back on wet carpet. I removed them so everything could dry thoroughly.

What a difference 2 1/2 hours, 2 awesome hard working gentlemen made! On time, polite and professional attitude. The car looked wonderful. I also want to say how nice it was that Starr Detailing was so flexible. We had to re-schedule a few times due to the weather and they were very accomodating. Great company!

Excellent job. Vehicle looked like it was new when they were finished. I am using them again soon.

The deal was no better than anyone else's deal. Tehy were way overpriced. Fortunately I got the message before they came out. I told them we had sold the car so we would not needing the service.
