The overall job went great and we are pleased with the results.

It was a great job. They came out and estimated the job prior to the work. They came out promptly, did exactly what I wanted. They did a great job. They told me how to care for the floors.

It was a good deal. I was able to ask some questions and he answered my questions. He was knowledgeable and made a few suggestions to keep it in good shape.

I originally purchased a $199 "Big Deal" for tile and grout cleaning. When the estimator came out to look, he said they could do it, but we probably wouldn't be happy with how it looked. He recommended regrouting rather than just cleaning. That would cost a little over $400. At first it seemed like a bait-and-switch, but I finally figured that our grout really was so yucky looking that it was unreasonable to expect anyone to be able to clean it well. So I scheduled the regrout work. The guy who came out to do the work was prompt, professional and friendly. He even repaired a couple of broken tiles on the bathroom floor, even though that was not part of the agreement. There were a couple of quality issues with the work, though. The first is that there were a few (maybe 3) spots where it looks like the dremel tool nicked the tile. Not very noticeable, so it is not that big a deal. The second is that within 24 hours -- before we even used the shower again -- there were several dozen places where small sections (about an inch long) of the grout started to turn gray. I contacted Tile & Grout King and they arranged for someone to come out and re-do the discolored areas. Apparently the sealer they mix in with the grout sometimes does not mix evenly. The work was done quickly, and I have not noticed any discoloration since. So, I was a bit annoyed that there were problems with the first round of work, but they did make good on it without any problems. Overall I am pretty happy with the job.

Did a super job on the bathroom floors. Maybe my expectations for the kitchen and entree way were to high. After this was done, it didn't have the wow factor as did the bathrooms. I would use them again because I believe they care about what they are doing and I liked the players. However i would be more vigilant on my final look before signing off on the work.

After the estimate, we scheduled for a work day, and while there was a minor mix up with the scheduling, the office person was very nice and it all worked out. The worker who came put a lot of energy into cleaning the grout that hadn't been cleaned since it was first installed 12 years ago, and it looked totally different when he left. I would definitely recommend it!

The Tile & Grout King Inc had one or two different crews of people so the fast pace of the work was really good. All of this work was done in 9 business days. They had two or three people who would come in at one time and work from 8.30 in the morning til 7 pm. They worked 10-hour days and got things done really fast. And it was very high-quality work, the finish is very nice. So I think the pace and quality were very good. When they gave the estimates the itemization was very nice and clean, so they would tell you how much it would cost to do the demolition. Then if you wanted to arrange the tiles the standard way it would cost X dollars; if you wanted it in a diamond fashion then it was X + 2. It was very easy to understand.

I found Tile & Grout King through Angie's List and used them to replace the floors in my laundry/office. Hany did the quote, we agreed to start the day after Christmas, the team showed up on time every day and the job was finished 4 days as Hany had quoted. The results look really great. I took a little longer to write the review than I had originally planned as for awhile the grout color seemed splotchy. Tile Fantastic suggested it was taking longer to cure due to it being quite cold. Now, after 2 1/2 weeks, it all looks quite even. Overall I'm very happy and will think of T&G King first for future jobs of this type.

Call for estimate. gave me a jack up price of 6K to remove and replace tile in a small shower stall. Way overpriced, thought they would be taking me to the cleaner, HA...

Overall they did a great job and were easy to work with. They had to come back and redo the master bath tile as it was more difficult job, but they were exceptionally responsive and have a good warranty on their work.

I found Tile & Grout king on Yelp and Angie's List. I was working back and forth with Ramy on a quote with different options. They had a coupon on yelp for $600 off $6000 or more. When I told them the day before, to move forward with the final quote, and apply the $500 discount, they told me the discount has just been updated today to $200 off, even though we started the quoting process a few weeks earlier. He would not honor it even though all this time I was working with him for a quote. This should have been a sign to avoid this contractor, but I went ahead and hired them since so much effort has been put into the quote by both sides. I was building a luxury home from the ground up, and I had ask them to make sure that they put their most experience and detailed tile guy on the job. Ramy re-assured me and he agreed. They did put their experience tile guy Manny on the job for my master bath. After they finished that job, he sent less skilled workers to do my kitchen. Ramy said specifically "Manny had a family emergency and is not available to finish my kitchen". When I asked one of his replacement workers where Manny was, they told my "Manny was asked to work on another client's job". I was really upset to be dealt the bait-n-swtich hand. The replacement workers had laid some crooked, unevenly space, and unlevel tile. When I had asked them to replace them, one of the workers was willing but Ramy kept rushing them to finish the job quickly. Again, this is a luxury home, and I had requested a quality job that Ramy had promised. At this time, Ramy had the nerve to ask me for more money since he claimed that he was losing money because his guys were taking too long to finish the job. I refused. Had he had sent his experience guy, he would probably be making money and pleasing me as a customer. One of his less experienced guys would not adjust some misaligned tiles even though it was not dried yet when I pointed it out. I had to spend a few hours following these guys after they set the tile and manually adjust the tile myself to align before the tile dried. I was the one losing money since I was working for Tile & Grout King. I learned a lesson form this. Go with your gut instincts look for another contractor if you are not sure about hiring someone.

I was very pleased with every step of the process. The estimator came on time as scheduled, was very courteous, and prepared me for what will happen during the job. The technician arrived on schedule, was very polite, and worked diligently to deliver an exceptional finish to our shower. Highly recommend.

We were very pleased with the quality of the work. The workmanship of the original shower enclosure tile installation was poor with many gaps in the grout. Tile and Grout King made the shower enclosure tile look better than when it was new. In the five months since it was installed there as been virtually no mildew. The grout around the floor tile was dirty. We figured it needed a deep cleaning or replacement. Tile and Grout King painted a stain/sealer over the grout and we are very pleased with the result.

The company did a very good job. They were very thorough, punctual. and professional.

The experience and results couldn't have been better! The original contractor had used too light a grout color, and it had become dirty. Tile and Grout King gave me a wide choice of colors. The color is perfect, it cleans up with damp mopping as easily as vinyl. They were able to remove a black stain from the natural stone tiles in the downstairs bathroom. I had another stain on the fireplace hearth stones, and the estimator said they would try to remove it, but if they couldn't they wouldn't charge me (that's what happened.) I paid a little extra (maybe $300) for a grout with a 10-year guarantee. Highly recommend.

Bought their half-price deal. They responded promptly, and performed the job in a very professional manner. Would use them again.

They were very punctual for both the estimate and the day of the work. They cleaned up perfectly. They did an outstanding job -- the grout looks brand new. They changed the color of the grout to make it less visible. The end result is that the tile on both the kitchen counter and kitchen floor looks almost new. Overall, a very good experience. I would recommend them and use them again.

I was in need of routine maintenance on my two full bathrooms (caulking and sealant) and neither my husband nor I are very handy or were interested in doing the work ourselves. I called Tile and Grout King and they were very accommodating. I had a scheduled vacation and they tried very hard to get me an appointment before I left, but I did only give them 5 days notice. No matter, it was not an emergency so we set up a time for when I was back. I believe it was Ramy who came over to give the initial estimate. I am writing this review over a month later, so I cannot remember. He was professional without being intimidating. The experience was casual enough that I felt comfortable dealing with him as a woman. He was punctual. He advised they had a minimum work order of $300 (I expected something like that) and that my initial request of just doing the bathrooms and sink were not quite enough. That is when I added the counter grout cleaning to get me up to the minimum price. I gave this review a B on price because it is pretty pricey for just routine maintenance, but since I knew we were not going to do it ourselves, it was well worth it. The gentleman who came on the day was driving a COIT truck, so I'm not sure if this company outsources some of it's menial jobs? But I didn't mind. That guy spent approx 2hrs on removing and replacing the caulk and sealant in the two bathrooms. All I could think was how long it would have taken my husband or I if we decided to do it ourselves. He got all the black moldy areas off and replaced it with clean white caulking. He also sealed the bottom of the tub on the outside which had separated from the laminate floor. He then spent another 1.5hrs doing the kitchen sink and counter. My counter has grout colored Haystack and had turned a darker brown in some areas. They were able to restore the color to pretty much its original. It took approx 36hrs for all of the work to dry. We were advised that we would be sent a bill for the days work and did not have to put down our credit card the day of service. I was happy with the company all around. If I just need routing maintenance in the future I may just call COIT directly to see what they do and charge, but if not I would use Tile and Grout King again.

He was very consumer oriented. While I was not happy at one point with something that was done, they came back in two days to fix it. They did very well. They're very conscientious and they kept asking questions.

Ramy the owner is very helpful and accessible. Scheduling was a breeze, and the technicians on both jobs were courteous, neat, and finished the jobs quickly. Ramy even called to confirm the day before the jobs. One of the jobs actually had to be postponed due to work at another client's site, but we rescheduled very quickly. The tile work we have now looks new again! Because grout and caulk don't last forever, I'm glad we found the Tile & Grout King to help restore them in both our bathrooms and kitchen. He gave me tips on the brand of tile sealant to use when I decided to seal some tile on my own

UPDATED REVIEW: So . . . the power of Angie's List! This was the first review I've ever posted. I did it simply because how disappointed I was each time I looked at our tile, which after just a few months was dirty and cracked. I never expected it to generate any kind of action on the part of the contractor, so I was very surprised when Ramy (the owner) called me and offered to make amends. Just a few days ago, a guy came out and worked hard to fix the problems that had remained ... the grout in the shower was gray instead of white, the grout in the kitchen around the sink and over was cracked and all of the kitchen grout was dirty despite cleanings. The shower now looks PERFECT! White and brand-new! The area around the kitchen sink and the oven both look much better after they replaced the grout with caulking, which I hope will wear better. The fellow who came out fixed places where the grout had already worn away as well. He was very careful and did his best to do a great job. I had asked for the best sealant available and offered to pay for it. But the sealant required the grout to have dried for 48 hours, so he left me a whole bunch of sealant, plus some of those contractor blue towels and instructions, and I was able to do it myself a couple of days later. It all looks pretty good. The kitchen isn't quite "good as new," but I am a lot happier and I appreciate the effort. ---------- OLD REVIEW: We hired Tile and Grout King at the recommendation of users on Yelp. That was, in fact, what persuaded me to join Angie's list. This firm was highly recommended on Yelp and was an utter and complete disappointment. Where do I start? First, Ramy said they could do the job in a single day. I doubted it and even suggested that we schedule the work for a Friday and Saturday, but Ramy swore the job could get done in one day. We arranged for the team to come on a Saturday so we did not have to miss time from work. They did not finish. One man returned on Sunday, still did not finish and left the space a mess. At this point, we had to schedule time away from work for the additional work. Yet even after ANOTHER day, the job wasn't done right. The grout had not been adequately sealed, the bottom of the shower had not been reattached and the workspace was still sloppy. I had to seal the grout. My husband had to reattach the bottom of the shower, and I had to clean up after Ramy's team. There are so many issues beyond that. I asked Ramy to recommend a durable stain-resistant grout. I was willing to pay extra for it. I had heard of such a thing from a local tile and grout store but couldn't recall the name. He said he knew of such a grout. We paid an extra $150 for it, and guess what? It's cracked and dull only a few months after the job was done. I later learned he should have used caulk or something more durable in the high-traffic areas but he was out to do the job fast and get out. After that experience, I swore off Yelp. So I was surprised to find good ratings here. I may have been uniquely unlucky but sheesh -- this is not what I paid for.

We needed our master bath shower grout Redone and sealed The shower is travertine and the grey grout was stained from prior owners letting it get fouled It was installed new in 2005 so was 6 yrs old They came promptly each time, in fact they were usually early 1) estimate: to ensure daily deal would apply. It did, noted grout was grey tile was travertine, all good 2) Chris came to do job, took about 3-4 hrs said to give it a day to cure. Friendly and answered questions about proper care Next day we noticed the grout was 'leaching' something to stain it dark in 5-6 places. Color was also white but we decided that was ok, as it was just the floor Called, they asked for pics, i sent them, they came back New guy said it happens was likely moisture under grout. He did it again. We waited another day to cure Finished work is just OK. It shows uneven spots, and shrinkage left some spots looking cracked in the grout. Maybe im too picky. We spent two hours cleaning the tile afterward to remove leftover dried grout on the travertine and sealing again over their work Next time i will doit myself, if i have time, if i dont or have a big job i would try them again and babysit the work
