The owner came promptly to give an estimate plus measurements to take to the tile store, and we scheduled the work to start in 10 days. He gave us an estimate of 7-9 days of work. The work started on schedule on the Monday which was demolition day - including moving out the appliances (refrigerator, dishwasher, washing machine/dryer and toilet). The second day was installation of a new sub-floor. It was then we discovered that the tile store had delivered the wrong liner tile, which I then had to re-order. The work proceeded, but was slowed down because they needed the correct liners for accurate measurement. It took 2 days to get the correct liner, but work then went ahead full speed. The two guys from Tile & Grout (Jorge and Jesus) were great. Very neat and polite, and did a wonderful job. They were always asking us at each stage about placement of the tiles, and on one occasion when they didn't and we didn't like what they had done, were quick to correct things without complaint. On the final day, they replaced all of the appliances and shaved the bottom of 2 doors to put everything back in place. We are very pleased with the result. The total job took 2 weeks to complete, but this was mostly because of the delay caused by the wrong tile. The owner came back the next week for a final walk-though with us to ensure we were happy with the job. Very professional outfit and easy to work with.

They were excellent and we spent $4,500 on that job. They company is run and owned by a man and his name is Ramy and his guys are all great. They do good work at a good price, and they are very professional.

We spent about $700 on the work. The owner was quite business-like, the work was done on time and the quality of work was good.

Professional and attentive to details. Estimate and proposal adhered to. Start day as promised. Crew was professional and attentive to details. Owner was available and responsive (added bath wall mid way). Crew exhibited real pride in craft. Job tooks a week. House was left clean after each work day. Walkthrough following completion. Great experience by a satisfied customer.

Overall the project went well. It took a little longer to finish than expected, but the end product was excellent. There were a few issues that occurred during the project, which were resolved in a timely fashion. The one major issue occurred on the last day when I was presented the final invoice and it contained an extra $130 change order for charges that I was never made aware of during the course of the project. Reasons for the extra charges. On the first day of the project, Hany and Steve went to the home improvement store to purchase the drywall ? green board ? for the project. They returned with purple board. I asked about this and Hany assured me that the new green board is now purple board and not to worry. While they were off taking lunch, I called the home improvement store just to be sure. They informed me that indeed they should be using green board and not purple board. Later, I found a piece of the purple board and saw that it was fire resistant board and not moisture or mold resistant board. I called Hany to inform him of this. He went back to the store and returned with new purple board, but this time, the label stated it was moisture and mold resistant with no mention of fire resistant. But he continued to maintain that this drywall was the same as the earlier drywall he had purchased. At no time through this process did he talk to me about charging me for this extra drywall. In fact, because of the mistaken drywall, it added extra time to the project. The next day, a different crew arrived ? Jorge and Juan. But it felt like no one had briefed them on our specific project. They were not prepared with the wood board to protect the tub, which was promised by Hany during our initial walkthrough before the project. Jorge and Juan arrived at 8:15am and Jorge looked over the bathroom. He and Juan then left at 8:30am and did not return until close to 10am. They had gone to the home improvement store to purchase a wood board to protect the tub. They spent the rest of the day putting up the concrete scratch coat. Jorge and Juan spent the next 7 days installing the tile. They even worked on Thanksgiving Day to help keep the project on schedule. On one of the days, it was raining very hard and they setup a tent outside above their saw so that they could continue working. On the 6thday of tiling, Jorge showed me the remaining tile pieces, which were all off color. We talked about exchanging the box of off color tile with a new box from the home improvement store. I asked Jorge if he would go to the home improvement store to exchange this box and he said good idea. The next day the new tile was not there, so I called Hany and after he called Jorge, they said that I should go pick up the tile and that they never agreed to pick up tile and that it was probably a misunderstanding due to a language issue. I told him that I would not be able to pick up the tile that day and asked if Jorge could do it. After some back and forth, they agreed to pick up the tile from the store. There was no mention of getting charged for this. On the last day of the project, Hany came to cut and reinstall the shower curtain rod as well as apply caulking and sealant to the tile. He showed up without any protection materials. I gave him some plastic and tape to use. He then used our bathroom sink for water to clean the tub and tile and left the sink full of sandy looking debris from the natural stone tile. In addition to caulking the bathtub where the tile meets the tub, Hany was nice enough to take an extra 5 minutes to caulk the tub at the floor. He also helped the plumber to install the shower head fixture since it needed drilling into the tile. He said it would be no problem since he had his drill out already from drilling the holes for the shower curtain rod. After doing the final walkthrough, Hany presented me with the invoice. The invoice showed two extra charges: $80 for their mistake using the fire board initially and having to buy more drywall, and another $50 for taking time to go back to store to get better tile, when Jorge had agreed to do it himself the day before. I?m not averse to paying change orders. In fact we paid an extra $150 for the border that initially Hany told me would be at no charge, because when we did the layout on Day 3, we talked about doing a diagonal border and when Hany said that when he told me the boarder would be no charge, he was talking about a straight border. On Day 3, he informed me that it would cost an extra $150 to do the diagonal border, which we agreed to. Recommendation. Overall, we are quite pleased with the outcome of the project. The tile work is spectacular. The care that was taken to deliver a quality product by creating perfect site lines and almost invisible grout lines really shines through. The artistry, though coaxed and deliberated over, is fantastic. The only issue was the extras added on at the end of the project rather than managed at the time they occurred. This was probably due in large part to the fact that the person who bid the project was not the same person that managed the project. In future projects, we'll ensure that we work with the same person throughout.

Work was completed as scheduled. The tile looks great!

If not for one person, this company can get an A. However, the initial work of the master bathroom was done poorly. There were many missing spots, scratches everywhere. The lunch break was almost two hours long. The job was totally rushed. The guy refused to come back the next day (Saturday) to finish his work. The cleanup after the big mess was OK. The owner was responsive and accommodating. It was a positive experience working with the rest of the staff. They came back three times to fix the master bathroom.

It went very smoothly and they were very professional. They gave me a quote and stuck to it. In fact I think they may have come in a little under. They did an excellent job.

They were wonderful. Top notch. They did a great job. They were very meticulous. I liked the fact that the job manager was frequently on the site. They did everything very well.

Ramy and his crew were very good at what they do, and very professional. They agreed to use our materials even though they prefer to use a different brand of mortar and grout. They also agreed not to seal the grout, which my wife preferred to do herself. They met with me on day 1 to make sure of my exact specifications and began the demolition work. To do so, they had to tear out old strip hardwood flooring and some plywood underlayment and linoleum (55 years worth of old improvements). Although they got some small scratches on the wall where I had just painted, I really can't hold it against them because there's no way to pull up that much old floor with no scratches to the wall-and it took me all of 5 minutes to do the touch-ups. While tiling the rooms they noticed something about our tile that we hadn't--namely that if you string 12x2 rows of tile together there is a pattern in the tile. They called us to ask if we wanted the pattern to show, which we agreed to. I'm very glad they noticed that, because it really improved the look of the room! They were not 100% spot-on for estimating materials--they called me one day to ask me to buy another 25lb bag of mortar and some more grout, which I did-but didn't end up needing it. I can't ding them on this though because they told me up front that they don't normally use Laticrete and they would have a tough time estimating. In my opinion the honesty about that up-front far outweighs the effort I went through to return the bag and get a refund. The only ding I gave them in "professionalism" was that someone on their crew smokes, and left some cigarette butts outside our front door. We had to clean up the cigarette butts and were slightly annoyed by that. Overall I'd highly recommend them, and would use them again in the future.

The experience was great. They were able to take the design in our head and make it a reality. The owner of the company was very responsible and professional. He gave ideas that made sense and were going to add to our design positively. The workers were professional, friendly, and courteous; and they made sure to even follow the small details. One of the reasons we chose them was because they were able to tile undermount sinks. Fantastic, beautiful work! They were also able to work with a Spectra Lock grout which most tile companies I called did not want to use because of the specific time line required in the process. I highly recommend this company!

Efficient and well-trained. Best job we ever had done with our grout. He even came on a Saturday. Affordable and very professional.
