He arrived about an hour early due to cancelled appointment. He did all that was advertised and also explained in detail the work being done. Very pleasant and did not try to sell me anything extra.

Arrived on time and performed a basic inspection

The service was fine. They installed a new condenser. They were very professional and they gave us a lot of extra time and effort because we had a unique situation. The interaction was very good they were very responsive over email and the phone.

They were great and I'll probably hire them again. The technician was friendly and professional. He was thorough about the installation of the thermostat; he was well versed in how it works. He is very good about knowing what was going on with my thermostat. He said it works fine and he showed me how it works, what are the indications that need service. He is great. I have no complains.

The original deal work didn’t go very well. The first guy that came out did poorly. The guy who came out afterward did a great job. We had him do some repair work and he found some problems deep under the house. The quality of the workmanship of the new guy was great. However, the customer service for the salesman has been very spotty. So when you can get them, the quality of work is very, very good, but communication is hard. However, the pricing is very fair and I got more than I expected.

That went fine and they checked all the parts of the furnace. He did maintenance and did what the deal stated. Everything worked out fine. He noticed that the air filter needed to be changed. He also gave us a quote in-case we wanted to replace the heater.

The young man who did the service was excellent. He spent a good amount of time cleaning the ducts and cleaning the vents. He was very thorough and terrifically knowledgeable. I would recommend them and use them again. Kelly Cavanaugh

The provider was able to quickly schedule my appointment and showed up right on time. The service was performed quickly and thoroughly, and most of the steps were explained to me in detail. The filter was very clogged and the serviceman cleaned it but told me I should get a replacement filter within the month. It is a rather odd size so if I am unable to find it at Home Depot, they can certainly order me a box. I was very impressed and feel quite a bit better about the state of my heating system.

No service was performed, but I must share that Central Heating & Air (Frank H.) was quick to respond to my email for more information re: an Angie's List Big Deal I currently see available (11/6/14) for $69 for 22 pt. inspection for furnace inspection & cleaning. Frank was very professional and helpful in his email answer when I asked about electro-static furnace filters. Additionally, he kindly informed me that while I was outside the service area for the Angie's List Big Deal, he can still service my area for a service call in the future if needed. I thank him for the prompt and courteous information.

Provider was not available on the two days I booked the home visit, although Angie's List itself confirmed with me that the times were available. Provider was prompt in contacting me. Angie's List did not realize that Santa Cruz is NOT in the Provider's service area, much too far to the company to drive for this kind of furnace service, and the List should NOT have included Santa Cruz in the territory the Provider's service was marketed to, my home is too far away. Please refund my payment asap. Thanks

It worked out fine! They said everything looked fine. The gentleman who came out was nice.

Generally okay, but no definitive explanation as to why cooling takes so long...everything looked okay to the tech.

Very prompt. Came out same day. Fixed Nest installation quickly and verified everything was working before they left.

The employees were prompt, courteous and helpful. Everything was handled professionally, from the first on-site check to the completion of the actual installation of the system, which was finished on schedule. They made sure it was operating properly before we got the payment taken care of. Aug. 4, 2014: We have been using the system now for about 3 weeks, and it continues to function very well.

He went in the basement where the furnace is located and I didn't go with him. He went over the furnace and told me that under the was wet. There was no explanation as to why it was wet which I'm sure is not his problem. That is up to the homeowner. I have since done other work that should correct the problem will wait for a heavy rain to see is this is still wet in that spot. He was finished in about 1 !/2 hours to 2 hours.

The serviceman was very friendly, helpful, and solved all the problems we were having with our system. They got back to me quickly after I purchased the deal, showed up on time, and they were easy to work with.

A young man came and looked over the air conditioning unit and simply told me the filter needed changing. He did not seem terribly knowledgeable.
