Description of Work: First time they came they did not do the steam cleaning of the air ducts so they had to come back. Also, ever since they came, whenever the furnace starts up, there is a loud bang. I told them when I called about the air ducts not being done. The guy supposedly checked it and says that it is the filter moving when the furnace starts up. It has never done this before and we have changed the filters many times. It still makes a loud bang which makes me wonder if it is safe. There is no way we could sleep through this noise so we have to turn off the furnace at night. We were better off before we had this service done. I still would like this fixed!

Description of Work: They inspected both of our furnaces (it is a duplex), so we paid an additional $69. They did identify a problem with one of the furnaces (which we were aware of), which they came back and repaired. They gave us a 10% discount on the repair since we are Angie's List members.

+ -1 moreCentral Air and Heating called us to schedule the appointment in the timeframe we requested the service. The service was performed at the date we set it up for. The team member of Central Air and Heating inspected the furnace and the AC, explained to us what is needed to be done for a good functioning of the unit. We agreed to have the cleaning/adjusting performed, and the job was done in about 2hrs. At the end, the equipment was tested and all the temperatures gradients were explained to us as being in the normal range. We were very pleased with the overall quality of the service they have done.
Description of Work: The services were performed in a very professional manner. The gentleman who came to inspect the furnace and AC gave us an estimate right away for the cleaning, adjusting, and lubricating both the furnace and the AC. He worked diligently, and responded to all of our questions and inquiries. After he did the job, he tested both the AC, and the furnace. The furnace is working nicely, it is very quiet and efficient. We spent a total of $350, paying on the Angie's list good deal $99 and paying for the cleaning/adjusting $250.

+ -1 moreThere was confusion in scheduling the appointment, which they blamed on Angie's List not providing info on who had purchased the deal. I also asked them for a quote for relocating a duct, but they haven't responded yet after 3 weeks. Overall I'm pleased with their work for what I paid, but I had to call them 2 times to get the inspection scheduled and they haven't followed up on the promised quote. Also, the phone number posted on Angie's list is not the right one to call for appointments, it's actually the sales department.
Description of Work: They came and performed an inspection as planned per the deal, plus they inspected my AC for an extra $50 while there.

+ -1 moreWe were very pleased. There was a problem with the generating and he came right back and took care of it. The first time we had a problem he was aware that my husband had Parkinson’s. It was a hot afternoon on Friday he was finished for the day but as soon as he knew we had a problem and we never knew him before and he was here intensely. We did not even check the price because it felt so good working with him. He was fair in every way and I would recommend him. He made sure that everything was fine. There was a bit of a glitch and he made everything fine. He was everything I want.
Description of Work: I used Central Heating & Air to replace our furnace and put in a fan.

Description of Work: He removed the entire furnace, found the stuck switch, fixed it and put the furnace back after 5:00 on Friday, before Thanksgiving week. He did not try to pressure us to replace our 25 year old furnace. We couldn't have been happier. Our neighbor was so impressed with the prompt service, that he met Kent at his truck and asked for his card. He did not charge for overtime.

Description of Work: He has worked on split systems, roof top air conditioners for us. He does service, maintains, troubleshoots problems. We have tried a number of guys over the years, this guy is a methodical mechanic.
