They were absolutely great. They arrived on time, did a very good job and we were very pleased. It was amazing because they came a long distance to get here. We own another house and we had them service that house.

We were disappointed that Central Heating & Air didn't go inside the compressor and clean the inside, they just cleaned out the outside. Their quality is good. I would probably not use them again because we need someone to clean the inside not the outside.

took me a while to get the appointment. but they came as scheduled. very neat work, fixed something that needed repairing (very minor) at no extra charge Let me know that next year I will need something else done but this year it would be fine. Did not push any products or addtional work which I appreciated....

It took two weeks for the company to call and schedule an appointment. However once they called I was able to schedule an appointment within two days of the call. I was very pleased with the technician who came to perform the work. He arrived within the timeframe given me and performed the service. He was careful about protecting my carpeting from his muddy shoes; put booties on whenever he went inside. He told me the systems were old and might need replacing in the future but did not pressure me. I received an e-mail from Central the day after my service call and they said they would be pleased to assist me when I was ready to replace the systems but again no pressure which I greatly appreciated.

Initially, email replies to the order seemed to take longer. Appointment was made but had to be rescheduled since the employee was out sick. They called early in the morning to advise me and reschedule. Second appointment was earlier than scheduled- the employee called and said was free now and could come earlier if I was available.

Went great, I was contacted a few days after I purchased the "Big Deal" because of the overwhelming response. They were flexible with timing and showed up on time. Performed the checks. Gave me detailed information about my system including acknowledging it was correctly sized for my home (much better than just "you're good" you sometimes get from the A/C company). Answered all of my detailed questions really well. Btw, I live in a Condo so they provided proof of insurance to my HOA without a problem.

It went well. As it turns out our furnace was only two years old (we had just bought the house) so it wasn't that messy of a job. The technician did a good job of explaining the work.

The service went very well. My furnace was serviced efficiently. My filter was changed. And even though my furnace is quite old, it will continue working for a while longer thanks to the work done on it.

First, I called to make an appointment. Two days before the appointment, they called to ask if they could come earlier, and I told them I couldn't make it. On the day of the service, they called again and asked if they could come early. I told them if they didn't need me much, they could come early as I would be with other guests in the house. The service person came early, and boy he needed me! I showed him where the furnace is, he said he actually need to see where the vents were. Since he had his boots on, I pointed to the vents in the bathroom. He didn't go into the bathroom, but walked all the way to the master bedroom, which has white carpet, with his boots on, and found a vent to take the temperature. He worked a while and came back to tell me my furnace looks clean and temperature is good. Then despite seeing I was busy with guests, he started to ask if I needed to add this and that services, for this and that additional fees. I declined and asked him to bring me the paperwork to sign. He looked very disappointed. I don't think I'll be using this service provider for my future work.

I however never received quotation on final report for fixes even though I contacted the company few times.

The technician arrived on time and checked out our very dusty/dirty furnance. I asked about cleaning the fan blower assembly and that was extra and I agreed with the price which was reasonable. After he completed the job, the furnace looked brand new and should last several more years. It is very important to change furnace filters regularly for long lasting efficient performance. I almost ruined my furnace by allowing it to get so dirty.

The technician was competent and courteous. He respected the value of our old furnace, which I appreciated. His findings were both reassuring and significant, in that a replacement seems to be inevitable and it will be costly.Two things were a little disappointing, however: 1) that cleaning did not seem wise, so it was not done and 2) that, upon discovering that there were two units, there was an additional charge. I thought that fair, but since the discounted charge of the Big Deal was $129 for one unit, it was somewhat disturbing to learn that the normal charge is $75. Perhaps the $54 difference in price was connected to the sensor that was provided for the higher price. At any rate, I paid the extra amount. The second unit did not add much to the workload as it has only two vents and shares the same return vent. We thought we had one unit but it's true that we have two thermostats, so two units. There was no discount for deciding not to clean the units.

Overall, it was good to have the furnace checked and find out there was no problem with its operation.

The work went fine and the electronic filters were thoroughly cleaned which was my main concern. The deal included provision and installation of a carbon monoxide alarm which was installed on the wall. The serviceman was thorough and professional. My only concern was that there seemed to be a little too much pressure to have other services performed --- which I did not want done at that time.

He indicated that there MAY BE a crack in the unit, but then advised me not to use it at all. Well, it's my only source of heat, so i'm using it. He offered to provide an estimate to replace, and took measurements, etc. but no estimate has yet arrived.

This company was prompt in responding, setting up the appointment and being on time. My furnace was installed in 2008 and I had not had it checked since the installation. When Angie's List offered the inspection and cleaning, I took the opportunity. I am reassured that everything is fine.

Fine. Professional guy, pleasant, knew what to do.

Service person checked our gas furnace and ducts and recommended that we upgrade our old furnace and possibly change the ducts too. He measured temperature inside house at different vents, attic and cleaned furnace from outside. However, he recommended against greasing any mechanical parts inside the furnace. We are unsure if this is a valid recommendation.

The service went well-I called after buying the plan-they came the same week!

Timely arrival and finished job that day

Chris arrived on time. He was courteous and knowledgeable as to the heater and heating systems in general. He preformed his job in a professional manner. He offered some insight as to potential problems and some advice about basic maintenance such as changing the filter as required, the correct size to use, the advantages to having the air ducts cleaned and how the cleaning should be done . We mentioned that we had some air flow problem areas and he took the time to check the problem and explained what the cause might be.

Excellent really. Choices are always well thought out, logical and the success rate in problem solving is extremely high. He is totally open to working with us, when we have logistical problems. If the client's wishes aren't completely crazy or non-productive, he'll do whatever it takes.
