Description of Work: Made a halfassed attempt to snake toilet drain followed by an inconclusive attempt at a video inspection followed by a $1000+ estimate for replacing the cast iron elbow and drainpipe. A week or two later a real plumber of my acquaintance snaked it out for $75 or so. This was about what I expected. This is also my 3rd response to your interrogations and trust me it will be the last.

Description of Work: We used Lewis plumbing in the past to install a non-salt water treatment system, and had them out for an estimate for a point of service hot water treatment system which we may install in the future. They are first rate.

Description of Work: I had used this company in the past to fix a couple of minor things in the house, so I was not prepared for the terrible job they did yesterday. I had a stopped up toilet, and, not only could the guy not fix this, he actually made the problem worse by causing blocked sewage to appear in the bathtub. Then he left the house with the bathroom a mess, saying that could not fix the problem. True, they did not charge me, but today another plumber came and fixed the problem in 20 minutes.

Description of Work: Installed a whole house water softener and under sink water filter

Description of Work: Lewis Plumbing replaced a 75 gal hot water heater that was hooked up to a recirculating pump. We had to call them back because we were not getting hot water circulating even with the pump running. One of the original technicians came again and bled an air pocket out of the loop, and that seems to have done the trick. Might have been a good precaution to have tested to be sure the recirculating pump was working before leaving the first time. The price I think was fair. The hot water heater was large and down the basement, so there was a flight of stairs and extra manpower needed to get the old heater up. I wish the person I spoke with initially, when I was price shopping, could have given me a better idea what it would all add up to.

Description of Work: We needed a faucet removed before some granite repair and replaced after the repair. Our experience with this company was very positive. We will use them again!

Description of Work: We have a new home. Some of the faucets were not supplying water at a strong enough rate. The workman arrived and diagnosed the problem. We needed new faucet heads. He suggested different kinds. He also changed the reverse osmosis filters which were difficult to access. Prompt, professional service.

Description of Work: A new faucet was put in the bathroom sink, as the old one was leaking and unable to be repaired. The work was done promptly and effectively. I liked the service so well that I decided to use them again for other plumbing problem.

Description of Work: I found Lewis Plumbing on Angie's list. I had been very disappointed in the plumber sent to me by my home warranty service. Lewis Plumbing was quick to respond to my initial call and most importantly to me, knowledgeable. We have Waterworks fixtures in our home and they are not easy to find replacements. Lewis Plumbing found one and had a shower fixture repaired within a week. Also, repaired a leaking toilet that a previous plumber claimed he had done. I was so impressed that I inquired about a water softener. He gave me all the information on the different brands but recommended a certain one. After doing our research we found his recommendation to be correct and hired them to install it. The price was very reasonable at 1700.00 and I am so happy to have the soft water. It works great!!!!
