Arrived at the appointed time. There was a leak in the kitchen ceiling from the laundry room on second floor. Promptly diagnosed location and problem. Repaired without delay. Courteous and knowledgeable. Highly recommend.

Came on time (called before as asked). Came on a Saturday. Tried the shorter rooter first, then had to use the longer rooter. Stoppage was approx. 50 ft from sink. I just looked at receipt and saw he put down 1 hr. as time spent. I timed 1/2 hour. They charge by the hour only. He was polite, and professional.

Leaking Hot Water Heater put us into the market for a plumber with no notice. Lewis has six plumbers working each day and could respond in short order. Appointment set by phone, they showed up on time and ready to install the new heater. Paid with a credit card and they took the old heater away for recycling. Excellent experience.

Discovered old heater leaking late Friday. Called Lewis and was told work could be performed early Saturday. Technician showed up on time. He was very friendly and explained everything he was doing. He did a thorough job including replacing an old shutoff valve. I was pleased with the quality of his work. At first I was unhappy with the cost, but a search on the internet showed that the heater itself is very expensive, accounting for most of the cost. The cost of his work was therefore quite reasonable, especially for working on short notice on a Saturday, so I am satisfied.

Our shower started REALLY leaking and we called in someone from Lewis Plumbing. He did come quickly and reccomended a tile person to re-do the whole shower, stating it would have to be torn up to get to the shower pan etc. The tile guy ended up being meticulous and a very good worker, although the entire project cost almost & $6000 and we have a very small shower stall. but it IS beautiful. The tile guy and the gentleman from Lewis Plumbing did coordiate their schedule, which was helpful. The only real issue was Lewis Plumbing charging almost $150 to install a faucet with hose that we provided, in the shower, when the hose was no good. They did mention that the hose was no good on the receipt, but we had to take it apart anyway just to return it to the store and get a new one. Our fault I guess for not just installing it ourselves. It was easy to do and we didnt need a professional install. Lesson learned.

Perfectly. We called for an appointment and they said they could come the next day. Plumber showed up on time, after courteously calling half an hour before to tell us that he was on the way. Plumber cheerfully and competently completed the work, and cleaned up afterwards. Everything looks good and works well, and there are no signs of any leaks. The plumber price of $95/hr seems high to us, but we think this is likely the going rate for our area. We would definitely recommend Lewis Plumbing to others.

After a phone call, it took about 24 hrs to schedule a visit, but once scheduled they were punctual and professional. Well done Lewis.

Had a plumber no show, so called Lewis Plumbing after reading good reviews on Angie's List, it was late in the day so I was told someone could come out the next morning. Showed up on time and diagnosed the problem right away and had to leave to get the part. Came back and had it fixed in no time! I then decided to ask him about our water softener. We just moved into this property and wanted to be able to use the one that was there or get a new one if necessary. One look at ours and he knew right away that it was very old and no longer in the proper working condition. It was explained in detail how the newer ones works much more energy efficiently and which one would be best for us. Set up a day to come back and install it. Very happy with the experience and have found a plumber for our new property!

I called on Tuesday to make an appointment because our water heater was leaking and we needed other plumbing work done. The only time I could be around was in the morning and they were able to come out on Thursday morning. He was prompt and courteous. He installed the water heater, then extended our faucet outside. He then installed our kitchen fuacet that we purchased and fixed our leaking toilet. Not only was he very professional, he was very neat and tidy. Everything is working perfectly now. We are so happy we called them to take care of our plumbing needs.

It was very smooth with them. I called them up and asked them to go out and have a look, and he did. He gave me a price quote, and then I checked out a few others, and went with him. It was a bigger issue and they required permits. They came out promptly. He actually called me back a week or two later to see if I had made any decisions yet. I said that I would like to have him do it, and the start date was almost the next week or once I got the permits. They had to break up some concrete, and things were messy for three days but it looks fine now. They did everything they said they would do and that was fine.

All three jobs were handled quickly and professionally. I particularly appreciated the ease of scheduling, prompt arrival and good communication with the scheduler.

The water in Carpinteria ruins everything from faucets to dishwashers, washing machines, tub fixtures/drains and anything else you have that can corrode. I asked for information on a whole house water softener system and Mark produced brochures and I was given a thorough rundown of all kinds, and finally ordered the unit Lewis Plumbing installs. Mark is fast and friendly. He efficiently worked with the existing access, and installed the unit behind a storage shed out of sight. After the installation he made sure to explain everything about it, how it worked, timers, different kinds of salts and potassium and so forth, and offered a regular service, or that we could do it ourselves if we preferred. I've got soft water for the first time in my life and it's SO WORTH IT. Our dishes are clean not cloudy, our clothes are soft, and I don't even need to use hand lotion anymore. Also, included was an unhook/reconnect agreement because of some house siding work that was to be done shortly after the installation. Lewis Plumbing sent someone out last minute (I forgot to call them ahead when the carpenters were coming) to disconnect the unit, and will came back and hook it up again free of charge. Their service is outstanding. Second was a problem with the main water pipe to the house leaking after some modifications were made to the house that caused it to leak. They came out the same day, fixed it, and were gone before I even knew they were here. These guys are fantastic. I highly recommend them.

Called the company in the afternoon. Sent a plumber the next morning. They were supposed to call me to let me know when between 8 and 11 so that my mother-in-law could be here, but Matthew arrived at 8:15 am with no call from the office; they had just told him where to go for the job. I was here unexpectedly, though, so it all worked out. He inspected the situation, and my plumbing is no longer standard, so he had to go back to the warehouse for the parts it would require, came back promptly, worked quickly and quietly, installed everything and cleaned up. The finished job cost less than quoted. However, because of the bad original plumbing layout, I have to get a mobile home repair person to move pipes installed right over the drain under the home so that you can't hook up the last piece. Matthew said he would come back after my mobile home repairman came to make some modifications and hook up the last piece. He left the part with me in case it's just as easy for the mobile home repairman to install it once that's been done. Matthew gave me all the information right up front. He explained where he was going, what he was doing, and how much and how long it would take. He performed the job exactly as specified, then gave me all the detailed information on what I needed to do next. Overall this was a most excellent experience. I ordered a water softener for this afternoon, and will let you know how that went as well. Good job!

They were fine. I don't have any complaints or praise. They put the camera down it, looked at it, and that was it. They didn't do any modifications to the house. They were on time. They responded on the phone quickly.

Lewis Plumbing sent Mark who did what the 1st plumber did not do: he pulled the upstream manhole cover in the street and revealed that the problem was not our drain line, but rather the city main sewer was backed up. He then knew who to call at the city's Public Works Dept and called them. They arrived within minutes and in turn brought in a giant drain clearing truck within the hour. Mark saved us a) $10,000, b) the cost of hotel rooms for everyone in the complex (can't stay at home when the waste lines don't drain!) and c) a whole lot of bother.
