He was prompt, curteous, and willing to return (make 2 trips) when we needed to have some modifications done to the trim before he could install it. Good work and a nice guy!

It takes a while to order the parts and get the stain matched, but Claude did great work and I would use him again.

Claude was very quick to make first contact and came to our home that day to discuss carpentry needs. He was busy with another project so wait time was about 3 weeks to our project start. Once on-site he was efficient, worked non-stop and discussed any issues or questions to assure understanding of expectations or concerns. I ordered the incorrect size for one set of doors so is returning once those arrive to paint and install as well as install crown moulding which was added after the original plan. He provides quality work and pays attention to make sure even the smallest details are done in an expert manner.

Claude was professional, on time and very helpful in his recommendations to fixing my problem of my existing bench seat being too tall for the average table seating. He removed the cabinets and fixed the problem without any damage to any of my existing parts and cabinets and worked independently and efficiently. Would call him again for any cabinetry work. Great job!

We had a scheduled appointment, the guy didn’t call and didn’t show up. When I called him he said he was out of town. He wasn’t apologetic, he just didn’t seem to care. I was inconvenienced by taking the day off to be at home for the appointment that they didn't do.

Claude did a beautiful job, loves his work and is a true craftsman. Brand new cabinets couldn't look any better!

I hired Claude to refinish all the cabinets in our 36 year-old home when preparing to sell it. The house had very little updating over the years and needed a complete, but affordable, overhaul. Both my husband and our real estate agent were skeptical that our worn and incredibly ugly cabinets could be made to look attractive. I painted and caulked the cabinet interiors and Claude completely transformed the cabinet exteriors. When Claude was finished, my husband couldn?t get over how great the cabinets looked. He spent a lot of time standing in the kitchen doorway just to admire them. One of the things that sets Claude apart from other cabinet refacers is that rather than using veneer on the cabinet boxes, he uses ¼? solid wood for a sturdy, long-wearing finish. He is also meticulous in his work, paying attention to every little detail. I am very happy with both the quality of his work and his very fair prices. I would not hesitate to recommend him to any of my friends and intend to hire him again to reface some bathroom cabinets in our new home.

Clande sevigny arrived on time to do the estimate and finally the re installation of the drops.

He did a great job. He arrived on time. After I explained what I wanted and we discussed it, it was clear he understood the job and the result I was looking for in the finished project. He carefully removed the surface of the desk to take it back to his shop as he needed to use a fixed bench saw. He called two days later and said he was ready to bring the top back and reinstall it. It fit perfectly and looked great.

We are very pleased with the results. Dealing with Claude was a very pleasant experience - we found him to be punctual, polite, knowledgeable, and honest. This was a tricky challenge for him, as we wanted to match our remaining 15 cabinets, and keep our existing countertop. But, Claude accepted the challenge at a fair price, and quickly re-built our kitchen. He had no problem matching the existing type of wood, style, and color exactly, and used nothing but quality materials. We found a slight problem with the dishwasher installation after he had left, and he promptly returned and solved the problem. He had the necessary tools to correct the problem quickly (make a long, cut through 3/4"plywood, flush against a wall), where I was concerned that only a chisel and much time and patience might be needed. Our D/W mow looks better than it did before the leak, and you would never know that some of the cabinets have been re-built. I heartily recommend Claude for similar-type work, and am confident that he would also handle larger re-modeling jobs with the same enthusiasm & professionalism.

For the same price as other cabinet refinishers, Claude provided better hardware. Choice of materials and finishes was excellent. Made some mistakes in ordering the correct number and size of doors, which was corrected within a week. Installation time was quick, with minimum disruption of kitchen use.

My experience with them was good. They got the job done. I had no complaints and there was no rework required.

The work was done very carefully and they coordinated with various other parties involved in the remediation. To be able to do the reconstruction was amazing and everything went smoothly. We were happy with the work and impressed with the way it was done.

From start to finish, Claude did an outstanding job. This was a large and very complicated project, and he completed it with great expertise. In addition, he was very easy to work with: When we asked for a change in the way he was installing door hinges, he happily accommodated us. He also always arrived on time and kept us informed about his progress. Best of all, the finished product is just beautiful. We are thrilled with the work and would ask Claude to come back and do other projects in the future.

.After he took measurements, he returned with a completed frame which exactly fit in the bathroom. The wood he used almost perfectly matched the current wooden doors. Claude was very professional in every aspect of this job. We would use him again as our first choice and we will recommend him to all our friends.

Claude was great from the initial estimate through the completion of the job. He did everything he said he was going to do and quickly addressed any issues that came up. Claude was flexible working with the appliance delivery men and helped build a custom cabinet to fit around our microwave. Our new kitchen looks amazing, much better than I was expecting. Very happy with the quality he provided. Clean, punctual and courteous. Would definitely hire him again for other jobs around the house, maybe crown moulding/baseboards or custom shutters in the master.

They did a good job. They did what they said they were going to do. They were fast. I would give them my thumbs up. They workers were swell. I would use them again in the future.

We are very please with the work that Claude did. He came over to take measurements twice to make sure that he had everything accurate. He had everthing done in about a week. That is really amazing. Our home is very contemporary and he had great ideas to streamline the entire look of the cabinets and the desk and to make them look more modern and current. He made lots of improvements on the way the cabinets were built in the first place and made them look so much better. He is a perfectionist in his work and it shows. They were oak before and we had him repaint them white. He also repainted the exterior of our front entry door from oak to white and added new weather stripping at the bottom. They look so much better now since the interior was already white.We now have doors that go with the rest of the house. Overall I am very pleased with Claude's work and would definitely use him again. But I do have a couple of small issues. When he had the doors ready for the cabinets, the color was slightly different than the frame. I mentioned it to him and he said it was the lighting in the room. But upon closer inspection, he did admit that they needed another coat of paint. I feel he knew that in the first place and had I not said anything, he would have left them as is. He did take them back to his shop and added more paint and now they look great. He also didn't come fully prepared. He was missing a particular drill bit which I ended picking up for him at Home Depot and also asked for a dust pan. He used a towel from our guest bathroom to protect the desk top without asking . I have lots of old towels for just such purposes and I would have preferred he use those instead. For the most part, he did clean up after himself, but on the last day he left wood chips on my entry floor after he trimmed some wood off the door. He also left some tape that he had taken off the cabinet doors on top of the desk. I had to ask him to paint over some spots inside on the entry door frame where the paint came off when he took the doors on and off, as well as around the hardware that now showed the oak when he put them back. But in the overall picture, these are small things compared to the beautiful end result.

Hardwood repaired and restored an antique bed. Although this is not his usual line of work-I couldn't find a furniture restorer. He did a magnificent job on both refinishing and repairing the bed. He did it in a timely manner and delivered it. It's gorgeous.

We moved into our new home which had a new granite counter in the kitchen but they did not update the cabinets. The hinges were loose and the doors did not close. So we hired Claude to resurface all the cabinets in the house. When he came to give an estimate, he came with brochures and information. He had suggestions, and was very helpful. We were able to choose different types of wood and stains for the different cabinets, ie. maple in the kitchen and alder in the rest of the house. He brought samples of the stains, and was flexible in letting me change the stain choice. He made frequent trips to our home to show us the stains and install the cabinets. He was able to resurface all the cabinets in 1-2 weeks. We also asked him to stain the wood in our wine cabinet in order to match the cabinets, and he did this very well too. When I noted some areas that were not aligned or drawers that didn't close well, he was very willing to fix the problem and quickly fixed them. We also asked him to do other small projects around the house, and he was always willing to do them. He is very professional and knows what he is doing. He is meticulous and detail-oriented. In addition, he is very friendly and a really nice guy. We would definitely hire him again.

I'm going back to him for a couple of other jobs!

Not entirely satisfied. The stain color on the new cabinets was darker than the color sample provided by Claude that I had selected. Also, the moulding at the top of the cabinets was installed in two parts not made from the same wood grain. This makes the joint between both parts quite visible. I had to point out that some of the veneers at the bottom corners of the cabinets stuck out and had to be filed, and that the color of some of them was lighter than the cabinet doors. Most of the problems were fixed. Despite my disappointment about the color and the top moulding not turning out as I expected, I must command Claude for his patience, excellent disposition and professional skills.
