I called on extremely short notice needing a moving company and Northstar scheduled me for a pickup two days later! Edgar and his crew called me an hour before they arrived and wrapped all of my furniture nicely. Super friendly people, good packing and loading experience. I'll add to my review once I get the delivery!

Everything went well and very smoothly. The crew worked hard and continuously to make good time and carefully moved all our things.

Corey and team were great. Showed up on time and used the time wisely. Professional and had all relevant moving materials. Everything was on point. I'll use them again!

The service is great! Hey gave us an hour courtesy call. The movers were very fast and friendly.They were highly prepared. Moving Dates and times were flexible. Rates are straightforward. The movers arrived on time, and the call center was highly responsive. The movers were mindful of our pets while moving, which I qreally about appreciated.

The company I work for hired Northstar Moving twice, once to move furniture from our old to new office and again to help move the remaining furniture for donation to the Salvation Army. The movers showed up a few minutes before the expected them, which is a plus. The movers were professional and diligent. They took their time to ensure everything was loaded onto the truck correctly and were able to squeeze in all the requested item into a single truck load. The furniture arrived without incident.

Very well, the movers were quick and did a great job. They were thorough with wrapping furniture to protect it while moving, and, carefully loaded and unloaded everything from their truck. Friendly and communicative team. A+

These guys were GREAT! They showed up a couple minutes early and wrapped up a two-bed, two-bath apart in less than four hours. They were very meticulous and careful with our possessions wrapping things up in abundant packing material. I've had movers before and I was really impressed with how streamlined they were with the whole thing. It's an easy choice to use these guys again for future moves!

We booked northstar for a move from cole valley to west portal, and would absolutely recommend them and book them again for another move. They contacted me the next day after submitting a quote on their website, letting me know the movers will have plenty of supplies if we weren’t able to pack everything in time or find the right boxes. Jessie, Jason, and Mark arrived on time and quickly got us in and out. They were extremely careful and polite, it was a pleasure to hire them.

Our family’s third North Star Move in a row, and there’s no way we’ll hire anyone else. The crew was courteous, speedy, friendly, and ultra efficient. Highly recommend. Two mega thumbs up.

Best moving company!! We’ve moved a few times all over the place with different moving companies and this was the best experience we’ve had. A friend who had just recently also done a local move recommended NorthStar to me because she also said it was a fantastic experience. Great price, the guys worked really hard, fast and carefully. NorthStar was highly recommended to me by a co-worker who has used the company for a few of his own moves. We scheduled them for Sunday. The day of, they gave us a one hour courtesy call and arrived on time. They were very professional and had a lot of packing materials and expertise in moving. I was really happy with the great care they took moving my belongings. All our furniture was wrapped and they were very careful not to damage any of the furniture or the home. I would definitely use NorthStar again for my next move.

NorthStar did an awesome job. We moved from a first floor to a third floor apartment with no elevator. Not the funnest job in the world but they worked hard and kept in good spirits. They were also very friendly which I always appreciate. I highly recommend them! (I also spoke with Alma at their headquarters to make the appointment which was a pleasant experience - easy going, no hassling and not trying to oversell!).

From my inquiry online to the confirmation and scheduling and from the day of the move to the payment of our transaction as well as my many email questions and their quick response and reasonable pricing – the whole entire process was handled with professional aplomb! The whole crew from the office to the actual movers were – to put it simply – TOTALLY AWESOME! The movers showed up on the big move day clean, uniformed and ready to go. They put in a lot of effort, labored real hard, and all throughout each lift and backbreaking piece of heavy lifting or balancing any of my odd-shaped pieces of furniture, boxes and outdoor items – they were super careful and gave great regard to our possessions. They asked, I answered, I asked, they responded – there was no miscommunication, no hiccups or misunderstanding. Thank you, EDGAR, you’ve done a fine job. So if you value such qualities in a moving company or any company – then you cannot go wrong with North Star. Hopefully, this house will be my last big move but if not, I know that North Star is the one to trust. The other things that I should mention is that – they were very detailed oriented in the items they moved. For instance, they pointed out a “dent” on my buffet table and wanted to show me before they moved it. I appreciated every effort they took in putting the furniture where we had instructed them and they were very accommodating and patient. Again, I must say that EDGAR was a pleasure to work with and I would absolutely recommend these movers – they were the BEST!

Awesome! The office staff was super professional, easy to book in advance. The moving team was great, showed up on time, called in advance and was very communicative throughout the move. They were great at packaging up everything and taking care with loading the truck. They were efficient too, highly recommend!

Juan was fantastic, he kept me informed throughout the day and was always courteous and friendly. He gave me options for moving different items that made it easier on me for unpacking.
