Michael Prevost and his crew did an incredible job carefully packing, loading up, and delivering our (bursting at the seams) 1 bedroom apartment in Oakland to our new home a few miles down the road. We have several delicate pieces of furniture and they were all wrapped up and unloaded in our place without a scratch. Whenever I've hired movers in the past I've marveled at how hard they hustle to get the job done as quickly as possible, and Michael and his guys were the best I've ever worked with. Thanks for making our big move possible guys!

Nemer, Rudolf, Carlos, and Miseal were punctual, professional, and very considerate of our property! Exactly what you look for in movers. I had an impossible sized piece of furniture that they patiently worked to get in the house. Wow, what a great company to work with! Thanks guys!!!?

They were very prompt. They came in and started packing up pretty fast. There was a total of 3 guys, and when we got to the new place they started unloading and unpacking. They knocked the couch into the dimmer switch for my entry light and damaged the switch. I feel like this could have been avoided.

They did an excellent job for me, I would recommend them.

I've had many moves and this was the very best. The team of Adrian, Hithan, and Julio were outstanding. It was pouring rain the day of the move with lots of wind and there were stairs at both places. The movers wrapped everything very carefully and moved everything with plenty of caution. The whole move was also much faster than I'd anticipated with the weather. I was happy with everything. Also the company Northstar was a pleasure to deal with-- friendly and very clear about all the move details. I will use this company again and have already recommended them to a friend.

I forgot to give them my Angie discount coupon, but they had already included it on my bill, which I thought was progressive!

From start to finish, our experience was great. Lynn was very helpful when we first scheduled our appointment and was very thorough on making sure they accommodated our requests. On the day of the move, Ray, Jose and Bidal were excellent. Very helpful, friendly and courteous. Would definitely use them again!

I thought they did a good job. I was really impressed by how quickly they worked. They got to our place at 7:30 and we were completely in our new place by 12:30, and that included a full pack of our entire two bedroom apartment. They were really efficient. I tried to give them water and they wouldn't even stop to take it. It was really fast. We haven't packed at all. I am planning to use them again for an upcoming move.

Excellent. The workers were all professional and efficient. The foreman organized the move very well and was courteous and friendly. Handled stairs very well, took the time too arrange the furniture and made sure they left me happy and fully moved.

The crew that loaded my items in California was very good. They worked hard and were careful with my items. The NY crew that unloaded my items was not as good. But, the main office in California followed up afterward to make sure I was happy. They care about customer service and resolved the issues. I am happy they took the initiative to reach out to me. Also, Northstar had the best price. I would use them again.

Javier and Chris and Kevin and Adan were the best. They made sure to be very careful handling all our furniture and boxes. They even brought a heavy sofa in through the window to avoid damaging the trim. They made sure everything was unpacked and set up for me before leaving. I would recommend them in a heartbeat.

They were very professional, however this deal was not right for my needs.

This was probably the most seamless move experience we've ever had. The team was fantastic. Fast, careful, and friendly - everything you'd ever want in any service provider, not to mention your moving company. Thanks Northstar!

They came out to do a free estimate with a not to exceed price. The final cost came in under which was great. We moved from our three story town home to our new place. Hannas, Rick and Miguel were all really great and easy to work with. We would definitely use Northstar if we are to ever move again.

I would use North Star Moving again. Customer satisfaction is very important to them and they went out of their way to make sure I was satisfied with their performance. They were polite, punctual and did a good job.

Almost all items packed and moved without damage. Unfortunately, the movers damaged a table leaf. Update 2/22/15: Northstar has contacted us and offered a fair amount for the damage to the table leaf. By doing so they have shown a great appreciation for our business and a great commitment to customer service.

The movers were on time and efficient. They wrapped furniture with blankets to protect them, and they delivered everything to the destination promptly.

Adrian, Julio, and Jose did a fantastic job! The were on time and completed the move quickly, while at the same time ensuring that all of my belongings were well taken care of. I have moved many times in the past, and this has by far been my best experience with a moving company.

It was an all day job and the crew was good and respectful of our possessions. North Star brought a large crew of 6 workers to pack up and move the furniture. The crew worked fast and carefully.

It went great.. they even cut their fee when they were late. Otherwise.. very straightforward and they made sure to protect doors and walls in the move in/out.

From the first point of contact to the very last minute, we were impressed with the professionalism of everyone at Northstar. The front office confirmed our move two days prior and were very helpful. The moving truck arrived when they said they would. The movers were very professional, efficient, and worked fast - which was great since they charged us an hourly rate. I have had great experience and highly recommend this company. From the person who answers the phone to the person who came to give the estimate and the moving crew; all very professional and helpful people. Joshua Gutierre showed up with his team in the morning exactly when they were supposed to arrive. I received a phone call when they left their office and another call when they were 10 min away. The crew did a fantastic job. The best part was their friendly and Can-Do attitude. They finished the job on time and in fact below the estimate.
