Can’t say enough good things about Corey, his team and North Star. The online rep said they would be between 8-11 and the day of the move they called me an hour before they’re arrival at 8:30 am. Corey and his team were very professional and efficient. The fragile items were all wrapped and taped and they worked very efficiently. Even with flights up the stairs they didn’t take any breaks and will most certainly refer them or vouch for anyone who is considering using there service.

It went as well as it possibly could have. It took longer to move me than any of us thought it would. But they remained professional, thoughtful and very importantly- cautious the entire day.

Very well. I would recommend. They called and showed up on time. All my stuff was protected and the team was professional. I would trust them with figure moves.

NorthStart Moving company was amazing! They were right on time, worked extremely quickly and efficiently. They were very cautious of all our walls and didn't make any dents or scratches. Our plates and all glassware was delivered without any damages and our furniture is in great shape! The four men were very nice, professional and super quick! Next time we move we'll definitely use them!

This is the second time I’ve used Northstar and I recommend to everyone! They are fast and professional. They wrap all your furniture, disassemble and assemble all furniture. They also bring wardrobe boxes so you can keep your clothes on hangers - so helpful!

These guys were amazing! They gave me courtesy calls. They were fast but very particular about how they cared for my stuff. Definitely worth the money spent while your life is changing. As everyone knows moving can take a toll on your mind. When I asked a coworker if she had used a mover she told me about NorthStar. She said they were awesome and she was right!

the team was friendly and hard working. enjoyed having their help. a big move and a long day. they were great. they came on time. they took extra care with our valuables. they were even smiling after lugging my library down three flights.

Move Went well. Guys we're on time, professional yet friendly, helpful, and worked diligently throughout move. They made this move as easy as possible I needed some things packed and they packed them up carefully. I was somewhat disorganized and they were very patient with me. Great! The team came with a huge truck, giving us plenty of room to store all the items from out 2-bedroom move. They took special care to wrap all of our belongings and even arrived with an extra worker to help speed things along. Overall a nice group of guys that we would happily hire again!

Used North Star for a move out of Mission Bay SF condo, everything went smoothly and efficiently. Called to schedule and received quote, dispatcher responded with info quickly. Company is able to provide Certificate of Insurance for my building's HOA, which can sometimes be hard to obtain. Movers arrived on time (even early!) for the two hour window, got everything wrapped and out of the building within an hour. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for movers in SF.

We had to move very quickly from San Francisco to Piedmont Ca and the Northstar moving team did a great job! Cory and his crew were prompt, professional and very kind! All the things you hope for when you are moving. Plus, they were really fast! I highly recommend!

All of the NorthStar employees who came to move my furniture were extremely professional and meticulous with the move. They paid great attention to detail when packing by wrapping all of my furniture in shrink wrap and blankets. Even while moving, they made sure that all of my items were carefully moved throughout both buildings, as to not cause any damage. I appreciate their hard work which made my move super easy!

We have never had movers before but can’t imagine doing all they did in the time they did! My hubby said they worked like us on fast forward. They jumped in and helped pack things we hadn’t gotten to yet. They wrapped all our furniture and protected everything and took very good care of all our items They came fully prepared for everything and best of all had a positive attitude and were super nice!!

This specific part of the review is for the delivery. It wasnt horrid, but it wasn't spectacular either. The pickup in the original location was much better, I think by the point they are onto the delivery part they care a lot less about your stuff. They almost left without setting up a table, and I had to ask them to attempt to find the legs. They broke some feet to a hanging coat rack I have, and had no idea where they could be. Also, the communication is bad during the delivery portion. I was told I'd get a call to schedule it for the following day, but didn't get a call until that next morning,requesting delivery that same morning. I missed that call by 10 minutes, and by the time I got ahold of them again they pushed it to the next day from 11-2. Got a call on my way to work the next morning that they'd be showing up at 9. Pretty annoying stuff like that, made me miss meetings etc. The price point is very good though, and overall it wasn't like a horrible experience. Just not super cushy. It could have been a whole lot worse I suppose.

All the movers, including Edgar, were really helpful and efficient during the move. I received a call at 8 am, right at the scheduled time, giving me an ETA right when I expected. All of my items were packed in an hour or so, and fragile items such as my computer were handled very carefully. I'll definitely use NorthStar again if I need to move.

The guys were great. There was a three man crew. They called ahead on arrival to pick drop and drop off points. They were fast, careful and efficient. We had some very sizable furniture to move and they made the whole thing look easy. I would definitely hire NorthStar again. They made the whole moving experience stress free and pleasant.

What a great job the crew did for us.! They gave us a courtesy call and were on time and ready to go. They had all the supplies needed and were very careful to wrap and pad everything. Great care was taken when loading our U-Haul truck to ensure a damage-free trip. The crew worked quickly and were very pleasant and helpful. Northstar will be my first call when I need this type of service again.

Working with NorthStar for our move was great! From the first phone call to Edgar’s team on moving day, everyone who helped us was professional and efficient. They included a fourth person on the moving team for free, and they all worked carefully moving us from a difficult walk-up apartment to an even trickier split-level townhome. We will definitely work with and recommend this company again.

I have used North Star for my 2 most recent moves. I got quotes in advance and phone calls that made it easy to set it up. The crew arrived on time and did a really good job packing and unpacking.

I called on extremely short notice needing a moving company and Northstar scheduled me for a pickup two days later! Edgar and his crew called me an hour before they arrived and wrapped all of my furniture nicely. Super friendly people, good packing and loading experience. I'll add to my review once I get the delivery!
