The reservation responses are very quick. Called in several times to confirm the date and requirements. The movers were punctual and contacted ahead of time. The move was done professionally and in a timely manor. The communication during the move is pleasant and we got everything we need delivered.

Everything was moved efficiently and without damage to furniture or the house, and finished very quickly. This is the second time we have used this company for moving and would highly recommend.

My boyfriend and I moved in together -- both live in the same city, and Northstar did our entire move in one go. They had also moved my boyfriend when he moved from Los Angeles to the Bay Area. They came with three movers and a large Enterprise truck that easily fit all of our belongings. They were very professional and made sure to wrap everything and work with us to make sure nothing was forgotten. They were quick and communicative to make sure we things were where they wanted. Overall, this was a smooth process and we would use them again.

The team was fast and professional, and super-friendly. The company was happy to handle the specifics of the move (multiple drop-off locations) and even took care of two things I could not donate.

The schedulers were professional and helpful and were detailed wrt to noting my requests and expectations. The movers were on time and worked very hard throughout the 8+ hr day. They were clearly experienced and knew how to box and stack efficiently. They took the time to wrap all valuable furtniture prone to damage. They obided by my concerns of not tracing their shoes on our new floors by using a 2 outsode + 2 inside approach to the movement of all furniture. They went the extra mile and we appreciated it. They were a great crew.

Great! We've used the company twice now and the movers are also so pleasant and hard working. They did a great job wrapping up our items and making sure nothing got damaged during the move.

broke multiple items, marble platter, china platters, crystal platters, missing boxes of pots, pans, etc we did not insure for actual value, so only received $250 as compensation.

I scheduled the move in advance and everyone was very responsive and answered my many questions. My move window was between noon and 6pm. I was told I would receive a call about 1hr before the movers arrived. I received the call around 12:45pm and they were on time, had all the extra supplies I needed and completed the move in record time. I do plan to use them again and would recommend to others.

The entire process was smooth and quick. Three guys showed up and set to work immediately after a quick scan of my stuff. It was unusually hot in sf, but the movers all worked quickly and didn't complain or drag their feet. My stuff all got here in perfect condition and much faster than expected. Would highly recommend.

Movers we're on time, everyone spoke great English, very polite, gentle with our belongings, worked fast. in general, everything you want in a moving company.

Northstar was prompt and professional. Even on moving day, the guys called to let me know when they would be arriving and were right on time. They were efficient, professional and I would recommend them.

His bid was one man and two hours more, at $1000 higher than the ther two bids I got. When I contacted him asking to explain I never heard back. Don't know what kind of scam he's running but I'd steer clear of this one.

On 6/17/17 I wrote a review regarding a move we had, rating our experience a D. However, the day after I posted the review I received a phone call from corporate who not only addressed the issues, but almost immediately made reparations for our experience and assured us that our experience would be communicated to upper management who would speak personally with the movers. She also assured us there would be additional training for the company to make sure this does not happen to another family. Where I won't change my initial review, I would absolutely give Northstar an A for responsiveness. Thank you Wendy.

We had to hire another truck and movers the next weekend. Initially after purusing the packed boxes, they didn't get a larger truck or get more people. They did 2 loads, first was 1/4 empty. Double drive time charges. Actual workers worked hard.

It went great! They were on time, helped us package everything since we had a bunch of small bags & were very nice when moving all of our stuff!
