Plumber Dave Plemons and his son installed copper water pipes throughout my home which replaced the old leaking galvanized pipes that were 70 years old. The plumbers did a fine job with all of the work. Their specialty was the patching of the drywall and lath and plaster walls which was included in the price of the job. The clean-up was excellent and the experience of this two man team showed.

Jay showed up when he said he would. It took a while to find the problem. He climbed up on the roof to inspect the vent pipe. Crawled under the house and saw everything was dry. Turned out the problem was rotting vegetation in stagnant water. He dumped the water, and set the plant aside, fixed a slow running hot water faucet, and hauled away the garbage left by the and quot;other plumberand quot;. The fact that we did not have to rip open walls, nor get someone to run a camera down the sewer line was a big relief.

Great service. I called at 9am. Marie 's first question was if it was the only toilet in the house. (It isn't but I surprised how caring they were about our comfort). She made an appointment for the plumber to be there between 10am - 12pm but asked if it would be ok if it was earlier. James called soon after and asked if it would be ok to come in about 30 min. He arrived as promised and got the job done quickly. He was professional, obviously experienced and pleasant. He repaired the toilet and cleaned up the area. I was very impressed. I thought the price was competitive. San Jose Plumbing will certainly be by go to business for all my plumbing needs.

The plumber, Cesar, came on the first day and reviewed the work that needed to be done, explaining exactly what the job entailed, how long it will take, and how much it will cost. He provided me several options to choose from. We scheduled the appointment for the next day, and he arrived on time, calling me in advance to make sure I was home. Cesar performed the work very professionally and with high quality, and took his time at the end to make sure everything was completed in a satisfactory way. A very good experience.

Placed a call to San Jose Plumbing at 10am to see if they could come out to resolve drain/sewer water backing up into the downstairs shower from the laundry. Person I spoke to on the phone was very courteous, explained that they were having a very busy day, but would try their best to get someone out between 2pm - 4pm. If not, it would be first thing the next morning. Also explained all possible charges in detail about what may or may not be charged to avoid any surprises which I thought was good. Received a phone call just before 4pm from James (the plumber) saying he had just finished a job and was it ok to come over to see what could be done to fix my drains. He arrived shortly after with booties in hand to protect our floors, asked questions about what was happening at the time of the blockage, tested the drains in the house to verify the blockage, went out to his truck and wheeled in a big machine (snake) to attempt to clear the blockage. Since we didn't have a clean out, he suggested to remove a toilet to gain access to the sewer line. After wrestling with the machine to get the snake down the sewer line all the way out into the street, he finally cleared the blockage which turned out to be tree roots. He re-installed the toilet with new hardware, cleaned up any mess that had been created, and tested the toilet and drains for operation to double check he had fixed the issue. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the performance of San Jose Plumbing and had initially selected them from Angie's List from reading the positive reviews written by others. Remember to use the $10 off per hour coupon.

Got home Friday night and our water heater had busted and flooded the basement. We called San Jose plumbing and got an estimate of $1200 to drain the standing water and replace the water heater. They said they'd show up at 9am the next morning and take about two hours. We didn't really have time to call around for other estimates but based on what we'd read in various reviews of other plumbers the price seemed quite fair and getting there the next morning was good enough for us. They showed up a bit before 9am and took a bit over 3 hours. We ended up paying a bit over the estimate and taking a bit longer than the quoted time because they had to run to the hardware store for some parts specific to our setup. Overall we were very satisfied and we would use San Jose Plumbers again.

The work went very smoothly. Darryl was a good communicator, curtious, and maintained a clean work site. Prompt in the completion of work. I will use him again.

Arrived at the appointed time and finished the job quickly.

Provided estimate over the phone, actual cost within 5% of estimate. They were punctual, compledted water heater swap same day as promised, and professional. Also changed out a mixing valve elsewhere at no extra cost. $100 cheaper than other bidder.

Overall the job was was well done and we are happy with the installation.

The company was very responsive, even letting us know when there was a chance that the scheduled time might not be met. Their representative, Kevin, arrived and put on shoe covers before even entering the house. He determined that it was a quick, simple fix taking less than 5 minutes and did not charge. He also was able to assess the time and approximate cost of other work that we want to have done in the near future. Having used this company before, considering the quality of their work and their customer based approach, we will quite likely use them again.

I called to have my bathroom drains snaked. The technician called when he was on the way to my house with an approximate ETA. When he arrived he was professionally dressed, clean and well spoken. He checked the drains, determined they were not clogged, so he checked the drain stoppers. They were coated with unpleasant debris. He cleaned the two in the bathroom I requested and then checked all of the other drains in the house. He did not leave any mess. He took all of the debris with him. I'll call the company again.

2 days before Thanksgiving, with 15 guests coming, and our guest bathroom toilet tank wouldn't refill after flushing. We've had a lot of problems with this toilet (coincidentally always at Thanksgiving), so we went out an bought a new toilet. Called San Jose Plumbing to take out old toilet and install the new one. They gave me a quote of 1 to 1-1/2 hours plus $25 disposal fee for old toilet, and were able to set an appointment for the following afternoon (the day before Thanksgiving). Happily they called me late morning and said they had an opening and could do it at noon, if that was convenient. The plumber was there right at noon, confirmed the quoted time expected, talked through what he was going to doand mdash;friendly and professional. Work was done in less than one hour, and he left the bathroom spotless.

We got water back up into the double sink in the kitchen and overflowed to the garage washing machine drain. Jason arrived early and start cleaning the drain pipe with the machine. Didn't take long for water to start flowing normally again without any problem. He also help replacing a new toilet in one of bathrooms, and took away the old one. Overall job is well done. Happy with the work. Will call again next time.

He was a very pleasant and professional service technician. Our appointment was set up quickly and he was very prompt. His service was fast and he left no mess behind. We would certainly use him again for future needs.

I called the owner, Mark, he came and took over immediately, he first accessed the problem and then the next day he came back and completely fixed the whole thing no charge. I would absolutely use San Jose Plumbing again and I would recommend them to friends wholeheartedly in a minute.

San Jose Plumbing was an outstanding experience from beginning to end. They took my call promptly, were out within 24 hours and the gentlemen who came were clean polite and above all knowledgeable professionals. We had just moved into a new home and the plumbing was in terrible shape. They fixed the kitchen faucet and also replaced corroded fixtures and pipes. We thought we'd need a new dishwasher but they found that the problem was just the hose - they had a replacement part in their truck, it was fixed within minutes. The upstairs tub was not getting hot water and they found and fixed the problem without having to take apart the tub. For good measure, they installed showerheads and a toilet seat at no charge (we hadn't asked them to, they were just helping out). I recommend them without reservation and will definitely call them first when I need plumbing done.

Pretty spiffy. I was expecting a long and difficult ordeal and it was done in a jiffy. Caesar was on time, called before he arrived, kept us informed throughout. Clear and cogent explanation of source of issue, what needed to be done to complete the repair. In addition, he did a quick check for us of another potential plumbing issue and helped us understand the appliance was the issue. Estimate was on target. Used booties to enter the house (nice touch of professionalism). I'll go back to this company again (and ask for this efficient and professional technician).

It went very well. They set an appointment for an estimate. They called a little before the appointment and said they were available then, and I said to come on over early. They came and assessed the situation. Fairly quickly they gave me an estimate, which was very acceptable. They said they could start work immediately and get it done within a couple of hours; I told them to go ahead. They did so, and worked hard the whole time. They were done within the time and the total cost was what they said it was. They did a beautiful job. No leaks, no problems!

I called San Jose Plumbing after Cabrillo Plumbing said that I had a sewer line leak. The man that came out said I did not have a sewer line leak, but he said I had a severe problem in my crawl space of too much water. He said that the intergrity of my support system was in danger and I could be getting termites. He gave me an estimate of $5100 to come out and make trenches in the crawl space and install a pump system which would get rid of $80% of the water. I had two other plumbers and I talked with a soil engineer. All said that a certain amount of water was normal in the Saratoga area, that the pump system would not work as there was not that much standing water, just wet soil. All agreed that it was not necessary to do trenching and get a pump system. The one thing the man did that was good was to confirm that the sewer line that the Cabrillo Plumbing said was damaged was in good working order and did not leak, but then he tried to sell me on this other job that I did not need.

Adam had to call to reschedule because of another job running longer than expected but was very professional and showed up promptly at the rescheduled time. He performed the job very well and explained the different options that were available. He used the items that we purchased at Lowes in order to save some money on parts that can often be expensive when provided by the plumber. He was also very courteous about giving us warning when he'd have to shut off water to the house as to inconvenience us as little as possible.

Called them in the morning, they came within the time given. When they arrived, I showed him the problem and he agreed it was a wax ring.I then showed him a toilet float that needed replaced.He gave me a price which I agreed to. Later I had him remove a sink and replace some valves in a downstairs bathroom I'm remodeling.

I usually don't have to wait more than a day for them to send someone out (non-emergency). For this visit, they had a cancellation, called me a few minutes after I scheduled a visit, and offered to send me a plumber within an hour. He explained what he was doing, and worked quickly and efficiently. He explained how the house's drain system was set up (which pipes led to which). The price was very fair for the amount of work he did.

Initial phone call to company resulted in prompt appointment for estimate, very courteous staff who stayed in contact with me. Repair appt went well, Adam is courteous and professional, friendly and accustomed to being in family homes - very trustworthy. I would use this company again and recommend unconditionally to friends, family and general public.
