they were great. I described what I thought the problem was and they immediately went to work to diagnose and fix the problem. The garbage disposal was cleaned out in 10 minutes and they were on their way. Easy Peezee. Service reps Richard and Dell did a great job. Friendly and knowledgable.

Kevin called within our appointment time to give us a more precise arrival time. He knew exactly what the problems were and had the needed materials on his truck. Before leaving he gave us advice on how to improve our kitchen sink and faucet. He was kind, friendly and very knowledgeable. San Jose Plumbing is the best contractor (of about 6) that we've worked with. We will definitely contact them in the future.

The appointment was for arrival between 1 pm and 3 pm. I took time off from work and waited the full 2 hours for the plumber to arrive. He did not arrive by 3 pm. I finally received a call from him at 3:10 pm telling me that an earlier appointment had run longer than expected and that he would not be arriving anywhere near the scheduled time, more likely arriving between 4:30 pm and 5:00 pm. This is unacceptable. He knew by 2 pm that he would not be arriving for my appointment on time, and could have called to let me know rather than keeping me tied at home waiting for him. He indicated they could come out on Saturday afternoon, so wow, I could have the good fortune to totally have my Saturday mucked up waiting once again for a plumber to come out. No thanks. I'm going to call a different plumbing company and take my business elsewhere.

Service technician (Mr. Medina) was on time and completed the job quickly. He was very mindful of keep his work area clean. Excellent experience.

In the end we are not very happy because we think the overcharged for what they did. They did not communicate well and they were not doing what we asked them to do. The responsiveness and punctuality was fine. The work they did was fine but they did not do what we thought they were going to do.

The pipe repair was performed quickly after the underground pipe was located. The pipe was not located where originally expected, and we hired C.Cruz Sub-Surface Locators to locate the pipe on Adam's recommendation. In the future I would not attempt an underground digging repair without getting the pipe located first, and having a camera put down the pipe. Most plumbing places charge about $300 to run the camera but it is worth it to know what you are getting into. Adam is the owner of San Jose Plumbing and is very experienced and knowledgeable. We are more than pleased with the way he handled this unusual situation. We have used San Jose Plumbing in the past (and have dealt with about half the crew through the years) and will definitely call them the next time a need arises (which will surely happen).

Mike from San Jose Plumbing did an excellent job by reassuring from the beginning that the issue will be taken care off. Arrived in time and after diagnosing the problem, informed that a part (cartridge) needs to be ordered. He came back next day and installed the part and issue was resolved. Very happy with professionalism and reasonable pricing.

I always trust these guys for any plumbing needs. Jim arrived at my condo and was kind enough to take the new toilet out of my car and walk it up 2 flights of stairs. We found out that I bought the wrong size toilet so he waited for me while I went back to Home Depot to exchange the toilet. The work was performed in a timely manner and everything went really well. He also removed the old toilet at no extra cost. I am so pleased with the job that was done and will continue to use San Jose Plumbing for all of my plumbing needs. Over the past 6 years, I've had 4 different jobs and 4 different plumbers with this company. They are always polite, hard-working and honest.

I had been getting my plumbing backing up several times. While it took a few times to discover the location of the clog, they kept coming back (at no charge) and spent time making sure everything was working well. THey also discovered that I was having problems with my clean out and repaired that before it caused major issues.

.The shower valve replacement: Due to the age of pipes, Mike A had to cut tile and get into the wall. He replaced the shower valve and put a chrome plate (called a and quot;Smittyand quot; I guess) over the large opening he had to make. Looked and quot;industrialand quot; like something you'd see in a hotel room, but nice enough. When the valve continued to leak a little, Mike came back at no charge and made it right. They honored their warranty. Capping the laundry pipes/replacing bibb: Mike was able to cap the pipes down close to the floor without having to do any extensive work under the house. He had to cap some lines going to a bibb way out in the backyard, and also install the new faucet; new faucet worked fine. I had him look at the laundry faucet in the garage to ask about replacement (the old one had a lot of corrosion). He touched it just a little to check it out, then left to do other stuff. When he got back into the garage, that old faucet had started to leak and made quite a mess. Mike cleaned it all up before leaving. We had a different plumber for the last job. Phil needed to do some creative problem solving to get the drain trap right for the garbage disposal. It took quite a while, but he got it done. He installed an air switch for the disposal. He also took great care to make sure the dishwasher was not only plumbed correctly, but leveled and set correctly in its space He then installed a laundry tub and faucet in the garage, where the laundry hookups are. Went great and works fine. They worked steadily, and were knowledgeable about what they were doing. They tailored their advice to the knowledge that this house is very old, and some of the things I wanted to do could very easily escalate into very expensive projects. They gave me enough information to make educated choices that fit my budget, and did not try to push me into expensive work just to make more for the company. They were careful while they worked, and cleaned up after themselves.

I purchased a new dishwasher from a big box store and had it delivered. I also paid for the installation, but when they came into the house and did their inspection, they said they could not install it because I needed an and quot;air gapand quot; and I didn't have one. I was disappointed, but I also knew who to call! I have had San Jose Plumbing come out to help me before and I am never disappointed! This time, Angelo did the work. He was very careful with every minute of the installation, protected my tile floor, went one time to the Ace at the corner for a part, and tested the dishwasher before he left. Seriously, this employee was really very professional, and yet somehow kind and engaging. The bottom line for me is that I like to deal with honest contractors, electricians, plumbers, painters, etc., because, let's face it, we can't do the work ourselves and we are rather at their mercy. San Jose Plumbing is an excellent company. I do not worry about needing plumbing work done, because I simply know who to call. As for the price, I will be getting my refund from the big box store, and so, in the end, I paid $140 extra for a professional installation. Well worth it indeed!

Kevin was very good about keeping me updated on his arrival time plans. When he arrived, he assessed the problem and got to working right away. He was very professional and explained the work he was doing as I watched him work. He kept the work area clean despite the messy work he had to do which was especially important to me. The actual work took a little longer than originally thought due to unexpected circumstances but he kept within budget and left me vey satisfied that he did a through and professional job. He even made suggestions on how to avoid similar problems in the future. I will definitely call him again for plumbing needs in both my home and a our San Jose rental house. Great job! Very satisfied!

This company responded quickly and the service was excellent. The plumber was very professional. He explained the problem and what was needed. He finished the work in a timely manner and I have had no further problems. I would call this company again.

It went really well. They got done what I needed

I asked for a repair that day for my gas fireplace. They were extremely responsive and sent someone right away. Most companies hadn't even returned my phone call by the time San Jose Plumbing arrived. Turns out I needed a repair to the fireplace insert, so they couldn't help me. But I'm really impressed with their customer service and will use them next time I need help with plumbing.

I got quotes from 3 different people ranging from $450 to $650. Some said they don't do it. San Jose took a look at it, and I had used him a long time ago for installing a faucet, and I asked for Kevin, because he is experienced and has been doing this for a long time. He came here and gave an estimate and got started right away. I was happy that where as other people didn't want to do the job, and were asking for pictures, and giving the quotes on phone. He said he would give me a good deal, and then as the job progressed it was a 6 hour job. The hole that was cut out in the granite and cabinet was not the right size, and the dishwasher didn't have parts, and so he had to come back a second time for that. He made two trips and spent about 6-7 hours and he did a very thorough job. He was not rushing, he took his time, and did a thorough job, and he did a very through job. I asked him to put an L-shaped pipe to go from the disposal, and I asked him to dig it up, and he made all the changes, and this is not usually done. He started about 2 weeks ago, but he couldn't finish it, because I had to order the pipe, which he came to install yesterday. The drain pipe which came did not fit, but he modified it to fit. I asked him about a down raft pipe that goes into the crawl space, and I asked him to cut the hole in the floor and he did it. He does what he can do, and does not say no.

We had Phil check for gas leaks throughout our property. He was very knowledgeable, courteous, and great demeanor. He was also very through. Turns out problem was probably fixed when PGand E changed the meter. Ask for Phil.

I would trust him with my life. He has gone above and beyond on many things. When he had big jobs to do I'm comfortable going to bed while he was working. I can't say enough about his professionalism.

They were very thorough. Even though I didn't use them I was very impressed with their quote price and the time they took to give us a proper quote. They came out the 19th of November. The guy as very thorough with his quote and I felt that had I used them the price would not move. That was the main thing about them that I liked. He was also here on time. I would use them for another time even though I didn't need them for this job.
