We have used San Jose Plumbing numerous times - they are always prompt, professional and clean up after the work is done. We will continue to use San Jose Plumbing for any of our plumbing needs.

Description of Work: No services performed. I called to have them come out for an estimate to re-pipe our house. The person I spoke to said someone would call me back. After two weeks I gave up and went with Water Quality Plumbing.

Description of Work: We got a call at 8:00 am on Thanksgiving Day 2012 from one of our tenants in our triplex that their toilets were not working. Upon checking with the two other tenants in the triplex, we found out that all of the units in the triplex had toilets that were not working. We called San Jose Plumbing at about 8:30 am Thanksgiving Day, and we got a call back within ten minutes. We reported a likely blockage of the main sewer drain pipe. Holiday pricing was explained to us up front. San Jose Plumbing sent Jay out to our triplex at approximately 9:30 am Thanksgiving morning. The blockage was over 100 feet out. Jay, along with another plumber, Darrell, worked for 3.5 hours to unclog the sewer line. They found both dirt and paper cleaning products were completely blocking the main sewer drain. Both Jay and Darrell were very nice. Jay has done sewer drain work for us before. Jay has always been very responsive, polite, and professional. Since our reputation with our tenants depends on us being responsive and timely with needed repairs, we depend on plumbers being responsive, timely, well equipped, and capable. We can say that San Jose Plumbing has been all of these things, so they will get our future work.

Description of Work: San Jose Plumbing was very responsive and called back to make appt to come over for an estimate. As promised they arrived on the dot. After talking to Joseph I did not need plumbing service at this time and I did not use them. But they responded very professional and answered my questions. In case of requiring plumbing service in the future I will definitely call them again.

Description of Work: I called San Jose plumbing on 1/2 as I was having problems with the water pressure at my home. They were prompt in responding and promised to have someone over to look at it the next day as 1/2 was a holiday. The technician called when he was on his way to give us enough notice and he arrived on time. This was the best part of the entire experience. The technician could not resolve the problem with the pressure. He checked all the usual spots for leaks, prv etc and did not find anything. He then suspected that the low pressure was due to the water softener and shut it off. That helped with improving the water pressure but we started noticing that the color of the water had changed to light brown. He then suspected it was the water heater and then proceeded to drain the water heater but that did not help with the color. Not knowing what to do he switched on the water softener again which reduced the water pressure. He finally concluded that it was the water softener and suggested that I replace the softener. He had no explanation for the water color when the softener was shut off. He promised to get back to me with a list of water softeners that I could consider for replacement and suggested that I end the visit by "tipping" him $50.00. Having wasted a couple of hours from my work day already, I decided to pay him the $50.00 and be done with it. Clearly the technician was clueless and had no idea what to look for to diagnose the problem. He bailed himself out of the situation. Given the expertise of the technician that was sent onsite, I would not recommend their services again.

Description of Work: we had a gas leak in our recently replaced hot water heater. we called san jose plumbing at 3:30pm and a sunday. they got us in touch with one of their plumbers (Ceasar Chavez). he came over at 6 and worked until the leak was fixed. he also repaired a water fitting and a semi clogged kitchen sink. also gave me good advice for future home repairs. late for a sunday night, but saved my marriage and would highly recommend these guys to anyone.

Description of Work: Jason with SJ Plumbing fixed leaks in two toilets and one sink at my rental house. I've used SJ Plumbing several times and always with the same quality results. They are terrific!

Description of Work: I had a very short nipple in a tub shower that needed to be removed so I could install a new tub down spout-it took a great deal of effort but with the right tools the plumber was able to remove it-install a new copper nipple and brass coupling and got the job done in about 45 minutes-the plumber was very professional and courteous and worked quickly to get the job done. I was very pleased with every aspect of my experience with the company.
