The provider was a very pleasant professional and did the work ASAP without delay with the sink faucet but had to stop to get the new pipes for the sink. The bathtub replacement and toilet water flow were done after the sink was completely overhauled. He did a wonderful job and picked up all the residual parts. The price of service I thought was higher than most providers. Total work hours 2.5 plus parts minus discount for being an Angie's list member is provided above. Replace DIP tube. Also found several leaking/dripping pipes and replaced those as well (an accident waiting to happen). Very professional, had all the necessary parts on the truck. Would use again.

They charged us the price for a standard visit even though the technician was in the house for less than 10 minutes BUT that was consistent with what I was told up front so I really have no compliant -- just disappointed -- mostly in myself I guess.

San Jose Plumbing was very fast to respond. All the drains in my house were backing up and they came out quickly and cleared the line. They had to pull a toilet to get access but he did a very neat job. Everything is draining great!

He was excellent. He has good attention to detail, punctual, on time and if I ask a question he would explain everything on details. If there was any modifications, he was right there. I had no problem with him. He's excellent to work with and I would hire him in a heart beat.

About a wek after moving into to our rental home . ALL of our plumbing backed up in the enitre house! no one could take a shower no one could go to the bathroom or anything. Our landlord call SJ PLUMBING and asked them to come out and inspect what was wrong. and over all fix the problem. I forget the name of the man came out on like a weekend I believe. Anyways he called the lnadord and told him that the person who renovated the house left a cast iron pipe down our main out drain! and he removed it but he also told him the right thing to do was to install a out so that way it wasn't going to cost co much for each visit. so overall he would be saving money by installing the drain out. Needless to say the plumber was SUPER COOL. and the price was very reasonable for the overall work he did and spent a whole day out there in the sewage figuring out what our problem was on a weekend!

Cesar called me 20 mins. to let me know he was on his way and arrived on time ready to work. He checked the water heater which is about 4 years old and gave a free estimate on repair costs. He fixed the problem quickly and explained what repairs were made and was very professional in his work. I highly recommend San Jose Plumbing especially Cesar who is courteous and imformative in the repair work completed. As a Diamond Certified business they have held the honor for many years and they deserve to be listed as a top rated company on Angie's list as well.

Wonderfully. James arrived within appointment window and was able to repair leak quickly. He took care to avoid tracking dirt / dust into house by using shoe covers. He was polite, considerate, and competent. Will definately use again. Price was a very reasonable $130 for crawling under house, through the mud caused by the leak, and repairing the copper line.

On Saturday before the July 4th holiday around noon, I went into our downstairs bathroom and noticed a steady drip of water coming from the ceiling through a trap door. I immediately put 2 and 2 together and surmised that there was a leak in one of the water pipes in our upstairs shower. I called several plumbers including San Jose Plumbing. San Jose plumbing was the only one to answer my distress call. All of their Saturday appointments were booked, however they did have an opening at 1:30 pm on Sunday which I took. Their dispatcher was very concerned about our situation and apologized that the could not get out to see us until the next day. She took time to time to listen to me explain our situation and made sure that I understood my options. Their Plummer arrived on time and was very professional. After removing the hardware in our shower he could see the the leak was coming from a flexible cold water pipe where it joined the main copper pipe. The space he had to work in was limited to the cut out for the shower valve and he was unable to reach the bottom connection of the flexible tubing. After he consulted with us, we agreed to have him cut a portion of the marble slab close to the bottom connection so he could replace the flexible tubing, providing us with a temporary fix that would allow us to turn the water back on. Further investigation showed even more potential problems. Our house was built in the early '70s and has galvanized pipes. We have renovated the upstairs bathroom in the late 70's and replaced the tub with a walk-in shower with a cultural marble pan and wall slabs. However when they did the plumbing for the shower, they connected the copper pipes for both the hot and cold water directly to the galvanized pipe. In addition they also used a flexible water pipe like is used on washing machines to connect to the upper copper pipes. After learning this we asked that he just do what was needed to stop the leak so we could get the water turned back on until we could consult with some tile and marble companies on Monday to get estimates on fixing both the marble slab and the piping. We were satisfied with the job he did.

It went well. He adjusted the water pressure to the proper setting for our home after he replaced it. However, the pressure still seemed high to us. Since we were moving out we never had the chance to have him come back and check it again.

Mr. Garza came in to check on my leaky toilet and was so nice and kind and taught me what to look for if/when this happens again. He showed up on time and even called in advance to let me know he was on his way. He also took the extra step and took a look at my water heater which I have underneath the house. I wouldn't know what to look for and he was informative, didn't just do things and but also taught me. I will be using San Jose Plumbing as the company I use for plumbing needs moving forward. Used this company a few times and have been pleased, but one situation was pretty bad, yet resolved well. So, we had a clean out behind our dishwasher that was in the way of the new dishwasher we were installing. San Jose plumbing came out and cut off the clean out enough so that the dishwasher would go in. He worked hard, and there was lots of debris in the kitchen afterwards(could've cleaned up a bit better). That was all good, but a month or so later we started having toilets back up. Called them again, and after 2 different times coming out to snake out the toilet drain, we were still having problems. Then we had a camera go through and take a look, and found that a clean out cap was stuck in our drain system. Hmmm. They came back out, jack hammered our concrete patio to get to the spot where the cap was, took it out, then repaired the concrete, and walla it was fixed! Turns out that when the first guy had trimmed the clean out for us, he mistakenly dropped it's cap into our plumbing, and either didn't realize it, or didn't say anything. Well, all said and done, I spoke with the owners, and they refunded all that we had spent on this whole thing, and were very nice and professional. It was quite an ordeal to go through, though. Not fun when you buy a house and are already dealing with various home repair stuff. But we have continued to use them since, because I feel that they handled the situation well. I figure some companies may not have admitted fault at all. I just hope they guy who screwed up in the beginning never gets sent back to our house if we call them again. Just to update-just found out that the patch job they did on the drain pipe that they opened up to retrieve the clean out cap was terrible-found a totally exposed part of the pipe today when we were digging to start a room addition project. Very upsetting! So, we've been going for months now with an exposed sewer pipe in the ground-no wonder the soil was so moist! Anyway, we contacted them and someone is supposed to come out and fix it within the next hour. After this I don't think we will use them again...what an ordeal!

I found several high rated companies that could repipe my house. Four came out to give me an estimate. I eliminated two at that stage and narrowed it down to San Jose Plumbing (the higher estimate) and another company. I loved Dave Plemons' professionalism, his humor, and his ability to hear what I wanted and what I didn't. I asked if he could give me a 1.5% cash discount if I wrote a check rather than using a credit and after about 1 second's thought agreed. I told him that I would like to use SJ Plumbing, but their estimate was high. We made a couple tweaks to the job order (the leaking hot water heater was under warrantee, so that brought the price down a bit) and Dave met me in the middle between what he quoted and what I wanted to pay. I wanted to upgrade the tub and shower trim package to get the look I wanted in the bathroom, but the fixtures wouldn't arrive until after the repipe was scheduled to be done. No problem. Dave and his crew installed a and quot;loanerand quot; set and Dave came back and installed my custom set the following week. All the workers, Dave, Martin, Felix, and Felipe, and Dave's son, were professional, courteous, and very careful to walk on the tarps they put down so as not to track dirt into the house. They always arrived on time (actually a few minutes early) each of the three days of the repiping and true to his word, Dave returned to install my new fixtures after they arrived. They truly did what they said they'd do and left all the walls they had to open paint ready. I was so pleased with the work and confident of Dave's integrity that I actually wrote the check while there were still a couple of little things left to be done. Trust me, that's not the sort of thing I often do... I had a minor complaint about the way the tub spout was aligned and Dave just came out and adjusted it for me - on Memorial Day! Now that's service!

I chose this company to give me an estimate on doing some gas work, running a gas line for a dryer, range and fireplace. We have tenants in the house, and were assured that the person doing the estimate would have no problem. The person showed up to give the estimate, and was rude and condescending to the tenant. Then, the estimator started asking the tennant what he was there to estimate. The tennant tried to call my wife (who was unavailable, and who we had told the company was going to be unavailable.) The worker told the tennant he was just going to leave. The tennant then called me and I spoke to the estimator, who was rude and condescending to me as well. I went over what we wanted done, and when I didn't know something (like how big the range was going to be) I asked him just to note it and include estimates for both types. When we got off the phone, the tennant told me that he didn't measure anything, just wrote a number ($3700) on the back of a card and threw it on the table saying and quot;Make sure they get thatand quot;. My wife called him back once she was available, and he was rude to her to. She tried to apologize for being unavailable, and he said and quot;I was already there.and quot; and then hung up on her. I called the main office and asked to speak to a supervisor who was (surprise surprise) not available. I left a detailed message, along with a phone number and asked to have a manager call me. They never called me back. I cannot imagine a more unprofessional encounter. If this is how they act even before they get my money, I can't fathom what it would be like once they did have it. I called two other places who came within 48 hours and were completely professional and followed up, and both estimates were nearly $1000 less.
