The two workers arrived on time, explained what they needed to do and completed the work promptly, also providing a 30-day guarantee. They also suggested that the problem could be fixed at some future date by enlarging and updating the pipe but didn't push us to add more work.

We have 3 bathrooms serviced through 1 sewage ejector system. We thought the problem was a blocked drain in one of the bathrooms, but the plumber correctly identified that the problem was close to the sewage ejector pit. He fixed the problem and cleaned up completely. He gave us advice on how to keep the pipes clear in the future. Also, the plumber arrived within two hours of when I called the company, and right in the specified window.

We were told that he would arrive between 12 and 2pm. Ceasar Chavez called at 12:30 and was on site at 12:40. He asked about the symptoms, opened the cleanout and snaked well past the obstruction. Then he had me fill and drain the sinks to verify that the problem was gone. He charged me the 1 hour minimum plus the equipment less the Angie's discount. Ceasar was totally professional and polite. He was careful of the plants. Most of all he totally fixed the problem.

Joe came over and fixed it. He did a great job and charged me what I think was a fair price. I will call use them again!

I'd only called San Jose Plumbing earlier in the afternoon so the response time was great. Jason was very cordial and efficient and completed the diagnosis and work itself in about a half hour.

They have always done the job, with fair prices. They are a local company. They have always been very responsive. They attend to my problems as quickly as they can. The last job they did for me was expensive. It was a major work. It started with the unplugging a toilet. Later, it turned out to be really bad, since it was an old building. I’ll use them again in the future.

Great experience overall. Angelo stopped by last Friday to take a look at leaky shower faucet where a previous plumber was unable to remove the plastic cartridge sleeve. Angelo agreed the only way to fix the leak was to replace the entire valve. Angelo's estimate came in lower than the other plumber and felt more confident in his abilities given the Angie's List reviews I had read. He did the work promptly and professionally, while still maintaining a casual demeanor that put you at ease. I was pretty stressed out about the leak. The only downside of the experience was that he was an hour late from his stated time.

They are outstanding. They are on time and they are reasonable in their fees. I'll stick with them. You get what you pay for. Whatever they charge me, I'm happy because they do the right work and they stand behind their work.

I woke up to find my water heater had exploded up through the vent - no hot water and water leaking in the garage. I looked at Angie's List and found San Jose Plumbing. The receptionist was extremely polite and assured me that the plumber would be there within 45 mins. He was there promptly, looked at the water heater and said he had to complete another job, buy a new water heater and could reurn within 2-3 hours. Again, he showed up on time and with another worker to complete the job crisply. I mentioned I had gotten their name from Angie's List and received a discount for labor. The whole experience took less than 5 hours of my day - I wish all companies performed the way San Jose Plumbing did!

Dave called ahead to let us know when he would be arriving. Upon checking the problem he had to go to purchase parts. He returned promptly, made the repairs and did the other work we requested. We'd experienced minor sewer blockages for several years, but this year it got serious. Darryl and Luis from SJ Plumbing came to give an estimate. The lines under the house were leaking and needed to be replaced; in addition they installed a cleanout port just outside the house. This took two days but we still had occasional stoppage problems. They recommended a TV study of the line--it showed root incursion 70' away at the junction to the county sewage line just under the sidewalk. They had to remove the tree and the stump which was grown into the sidewalk as well as the sewer line (big job). They redid the sewer lines in the area, installed a clean out port that region as well. This work took pretty much a week. In addition, they did the concrete work on the sidewalk and a considerable portion of the driveway. Darryl and Luis were prompt and reliable. They gave us their personal numbers if we had problems during the period, cleaned up at the end, and were very courteous. When the driveway concrete was laid they forgot to place a sprinkler line underneath but came back and did it for free with an underground driller. It was a very professional job. We knew where things stood all along. They came by unannounced a month or two later just to check the system.

We have used them before and they do a very good job. I am satisfied with their work. The quality of their work was very good. Their professionalism, punctuality and responsiveness were excellent.

The person they sent out was very good. He was really nice and he has been trying really hard to help us solve our problem. We would use them again.

I called San Jose Plumbing this morning to ask them if I could make an appointment to have someone come to my house to clean a clogged drainage pipe in our front yard. The receptionist that answered the phone was very courteous and informative and I was able to get an appoint that same day. She said he would be at my home sometime between 1:00 - 3:00. I received a call from Angelo that he would be early and he arrived at 12:45. Using his equipment he went right to the source of the problem and within 30 minutes he completed his job. He explained that the drain was clogged and that he had cleared all the debris and roots from the pipe. Angelo was very professional and personable. It was a pleasure working with him. I would definitely use their services again.

After my previous experience with plumbers, I was more than pleasantly surprised by San Jose Plumbing’s quick response, quality of the work and cost. They responded within a couple of hours of receiving my call (as they said they would). The inspection and quote required less than an hour. San Jose Plumbing performed the work in less time than quoted and the cost was at the lower end. In the future I would not hesitate to call them immediately to fix a plumbing problem.

I had a terrible clog that was backing up water from my kitchen sink into my laundry sink. After trying the usual clearing procedures, I decided to call in the professionals. San Jose Plumbing scheduled me for a same day appointment and actually called to come earlier. Caesar was very pleasant and professional. It required going up onto my roof to snake the drains, but all was cleared within the hour. Thank goodness...I have a lot of cooking to do!! I also had a leaking bathroom faucet that required a specific tool that Caesar didn't have, but we determined that it was probably better to replace the faucet than repair it, which I will do myself.

My washer (upstairs) started to drain and water poured from the toilets downstairs. I checked Angie's list right away. The person who answered the phone at SJ Plumbing was pleasant and understood the urgency of my service problem. SHe dispatched a technician right away. The service technician, Jason Box, responded VERY quickly (30 minutes) and asked a few simple questions before he got right to work. He found the sewer service drain, ran the snake (more than 60 feet) and cleared the drain. During the process he described what he was doing and what he hoped the effect would be. It worked. During the service call, Jason moved several plants and things to access the sewer drain. Once finished, he hosed off the area, moved everything back exactly as it had been and left the area as if nobody had ever been there. Once the call was over, he re-explained what he'd done, thanked me for finding him on Angie's List, and gave me cards for SJ Plumbing for my neighbors. He went over the invoice and their 30 day guarantee. Couldn't have been a better end to a harrowing experience.

At about 8:30 p.m. last night my daughter rushed in to tell me the bathroom was flooded. Grabbing a lot of towels, I mopped up and then set to figuring out where the leak originated (sink? toilet? Toilet! EWWW!). Called San Jose Plumbing after a search on this site, and was very happy with my choice from the first minute. The woman who took my call and set up the appointment was polite, professional, and organized. She said if they could come earlier than their earliest opening (which was only 2 hours later nevertheless), they would call. Mike called 40 minutes before my 'window' to confirm directions. He diagnosed the problem, explained it to me, and estimated it would take 1 to 1.5 hours to complete the repair. Long story short, one of my children (no one's fessing up) helped a toy go swimming, and the toy didn't make it all the way to freedom. :) He had to snake and snake AND SNAKE to dislodge the clog, even removing the base from the floor and snaking it from the bottom up. At any rate, he was still within his estimated time frame, and the coupon from Angie's list was accepted without question. I will definitely call them next time I need this kind of work done.

These guys are Professionals in every sense of the term. I called in at noon and they immediately informed me that a backlog of orders would prevent them from getting to me until 5-7pm. They called me twice with updates and arrived within their promised window. Caesar jumped right in and started work. He was extremely friendly and took the time to make sure I understood what he was doing and why. He found and alleviated the main blockage and examined some of the gunk he extracted to help determine the root cause. He then set to work on clearing the backup to the tub. The cost was way less than I feared, and they even provided a 30-day guarantee. Caesar is excellent and efficient at what he does and clearly takes pride in his work. I will use this company again for any service I need that they offer. What can I say, I am impressed.

They explain things quite a bit and they know what they are doing. They have never needed to come back out after a servicing. They are very neat and tidy. They take the time to clean up after themselves. They get the work done quickly and they do it well. They are a little expensive, but they are worth it. They always work with us on the pricing giving us options for how they can do the job to make it cheaper. They always leave their cell phone numbers for us in case we have any questions or problems. They are never annoyed when we call them up.

My first time in 30 years to call out a plumber, and thanks to Angie's List, it was a very pleasureable experience. Adam Garza (Vice President who actually works!!), was professional and a hard worker.
