It turned out great! There were additional charges beyond the big deal amount because I got some kind of cover for the gutters to prevent leaves from getting in. The total cost was over $600 and under $700. They did a fine job. I wasn't here when they did the work.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It took them a long time to get out and do the job. It was a small job. I don't think they were overly excited about doing it frankly. They did eventually do it and they did a nice job. The deal was $99 and I paid additional. They were great once they arrived. Their crew was professional and they arrived when they said they would. I still paid a lot in spite of the deal.

Showed up, was very professional and courteous, did the job and cleaned up after himself.

They came out and looked at the house for the gutter repair, and they said that they didn't have that kind of gutter in stock. Three days after the visit, they gave me an estimate saying that it'd be $500 to do, and I'm not going to go through with it.

Original installation went very well. After first rain, heard dripping noise in second story downspout, RA came back out and angled the downspout, no extra charge. Very responsive when I contacted them for the adjustment, and they were quick to respond and fix the problem. haven't had an issue since, with the few rains we've had.

The gutters look very nice on my house and really are an improvement. Some things did not go well during and after the project. A deciding factor in choosing RA was that they agreed to clean my tile roof and remove all the debris. This is where I ran into problems. The workers did some cleaning but decided that they were done. When I pointed out all the debris still on the roof, the owner told me his boys were rebelling and the owner told me he could not get them to finish. I ended up spending 2 full days power washing the rest of the debris from the roof which left some stains on the facia after having been newly painted. Afterward, RA put the new gutters and downspouts on. However, the owner brought a mixed bag of black and brown downspouts that were leftovers from previous jobs for installation. We had contracted for white downspouts. I insisted on him using the white ones as contracted over his objections. Some repairs had to be done to the broken tiles on the roof. These were done but I had to point out ones that were missed. The tile repairs were done after we had inserted gutter guards and no attempts was made to protect the guards from the repair materials which would have been a simple matter to do. Some construction debris was left on site. |Lastly, the functionality of the gutters could not be tested since the caulking had to dry. It has been months without rain. During our first serious rain, 5 places leaked. The owner responded immediately by sending workers the same day. It took two times for them to fix the leaks. Two of the leaks were due to not having been caulked in the first place.

The work was very detailed, time consuming and Ron did a very professional job. The cost was very reasonable considering the work required.I would highly recommend Ron for any of your gutter needs.

I signed the contract on a Sat. and the job was done by 3 PM on Mon. The crew was efficient and cleaned up completely so all I had to show for their visit were great new gutters. It rained the next day and there was a small leak on one corner. Ron came out & did the repair It rained again & the leak was gone.

The crew was prompt, friendly, efficient and performed their work to our satisfaction.

Initially I was pleased that Ron Andrews promptly called me after my purchase of the $99.00 voucher and came out to my home the next day. Upon inspection of my gutters, Ron said he didn't have my gutters in stock as they were 5" Ogee gutters and larger than he had. He said he would try to find them for me through another company, Wildcat Metals. When he didn't call me back after 10 days, I called Ron on a Friday to see what was happening. He announced that he had found my gutters. He said he would have an estimate to me in a few days on the following Monday. He never called again and to this day I haven't heard back from Ron. I felt if I have to chase him down with several phone calls to get an estimate from him, that is not a good sign that he wants my business.

That was excellent. I think, maybe, about a year ago, it could be awful a little bit on that or something in that area. I could not answer that part of it was covered by insurance. The whole job was far a several thousand. We did not compare pricing because he was the only one that seems to answer a review on that complete, thorough job from A to Z. Couple of others we talked to would only do parts of it but only one submitted to come and do the whole thing. His package, we could not compare to anyone else. They are just very clean, prompt, courteous, and were there when they said they would be there, did couple of follow up calls and were very professionally handled.

First impressions were positive. Ron showed up exactly on time, conducted an efficient estimate, provided options and closed the sale. I expressed three things being most important - workmanship, value / price and advanced notice of when the work was to be done. The job was as simple, but Ron could not commit to a specific day to do the work and gave me a 10 day window, estimating the job would take several hours. He said he would call in advance as I requested. I had not received a call so three days before the 10-day window expired I called the contractor - I called Friday afternoon as the window would expire on Monday. Ron scheduled the work for Saturday. I do not consider this meeting my request of advanced notice since I had to call at the last minute. The work was done very well, but took less than an hour. In light of the initial estimate being several hours, in retrospect, I feel the price of $6/ft ($792) for one hour of work and the least expensive gutter cover excessive but was committed due to buying a Big Deal. On a positive note and not to be understated, the workmanship was very good.

Ron was very professional and flexible with his appointments. Installed on a Saturday afternoon since I could not make it during the week. Did a great job, cleaned up thoroughly and was pleasant to deal with -- will definitely use again.

Have several areas that are problem areas. I had no idea of solution and what should be done first. When I called Ron to come to my house, I could not tell him if I would need an estimate or what. I just told him I had a problem and needed advice. I need advice especially before my dogs went over the fence. With no promise, he made the appointment and came to my home in just a few days. The gutter in dog area had rotting fascia, too long a run, and water leaking behind gutter. Need to install new taller fence almost under the gutter. Had no idea which to fix first or how to correct the incorrectly installed gutter and fascia. Ron was great. First what I thought would be a costly as well as time and labor consuming fix turned out to be a simple fix. Ron advised to replace fence first (new fence will not be same as existing and will affect the install. Second is an area where we have a small patio cover installed. It had leaked ever sense. There was a problem where the roof meets the cover. We have tried so many ways to fix it without success. Ron reviewed and advised a way to fix the problem. I am excited about getting him out to fix this area. Have another area for a gutter that is not just the typical house roof. The solution is much as I thought but he even had a better final solution. Now my challenge is to get the fence replaced before the rains so Ron's crew can come and fix our problem areas. Such a relieve to know it can be done so much better and so much less work than I had thought.

Ron was a very nice guy. He showed up to bid my project quickly, explained my options. I signed a contract with him that visit. I was to finish painting the exterior of my home before he was going to install the new gutters we discussed. Which was approx 1 month later. Once I finished painting, I contacted Ron to continue with the installation of gutters and a couple of roof vents. We schelduled a date. The date came and went, I followed up with a phone call. He had explained one of his trucks had broken down. And he had to reschedule. We did, and no one showed. This happened 3 or 4 times. He always had some reason why he couldn't make it. Finally, his crew showed up to preform the work but failed to install one vent we specificly discussed. Listed within the contract. I contacted Ron again, made another appointment. No one showed again. Eventually he did get a crew out to my house to finish the work. Everything looked very professional and of good quality. The only critizism I have of the company is HORRIBLE follow up skills. I must have called and reschelduled 6 times during the whole process. I realize if something comes up and you have to cancel the appointment, but someone should have contacted me to discuss it with me. I shouldn't have to chase him down every time. I would use him again, but be cautious of the lack of follow up.

These guys were fantastic. I called around 10am and by 3pm the same day they had already finished the job. I had already purchased the solar fan unit itself, so cost was for labor to install only. Very professional, cleaned up after themselves. They patched the roof like new - great job!

RA Construction was fantastic. They were very honest and they had a great presentation. They were good old guys. They showed up on time and they cleaned up after themselves. They were on top of everything. They let me know what's going to happen next, what's going on and what they recommend. They were not pushy. They told me what would be the best thing for my home and why. I just felt very comfortable with them, their expertise and what they're teaching me.

He found something that the other 2 estimates I had received had missed. He also does roofing so I had him repair that as well. The new gutters look great. We have had rain since with no issues. They were very clean with the work, and they did it in a few hours! He offered to come back and fix anything under the warranty.

My existing gutters were in terrible shape and needed replacing ASAP. I called RA Construction and set up an appointment to get a free quote. Ron came out to the house on a Sunday (only day I had available to meet), walked to job and gave me a quote onsite that day. After letting Ron know I was going to use RA Construction for the job, they were back at the house the following Thursday in morning, removed the existing gutter and installed the new seamless gutters with gutter guards all in one day. They were very fast, responsive and the gutters look great. I did find some screws/nails left on the roof and in the driveway but besides that everything went smoothly and I couldn't be happier with the gutters.

During the research process for a new roof we received several estimates from different companies, but we were impressed with Ron?s friendly straight-forward and thorough approach. His quote for a new roof and gutters gave us options of materials and pricing and was very competitive. Ron answered all our questions and he helped guide us through the process giving us all the facts and not a sales pitch. We feel hiring RA Construction was an excellent choice and we are ?five star? happy customers. The job took two days and that included deciding to add a Sun Tunnel to a windowless bathroom. Ron coordinated everything and there were no delays the project went from start to finish seamlessly. The crew was professional and hardworking. When they left after the first day I was surprised at how clean they left the place. Ron was on the job both days and when completed we were very impressed with the roof and gutters. There was obvious attention to detail and pride in the work that was done. As for the Sun Tunnel I love it. A windowless bathroom is now bright and sunny. The installation was done completely up to my picky standards and I didn?t even need to patch or paint the ceiling. Definitely recommend this company.

Very responsive, especially since we hadn't kept the paperwork from the first job. Ron answered our call right away, had all our information and sent his people out on the day picked. They were prompt, courteous, and effective.

Met RA at the Home Show in Santa Clara earlier this year. He arrived on time for the estimate; explained options and costs, managed to match my house paint to the color of the downspouts. Price seemed reasonable based on my research. Crew arrived on time and did excellent job of removing old gutters and installing new gutters, etc. Looks great! I rated them a C on Professionalism because when they were working at the front of the house, they broke off a pretty large branch of a camellia bush, probably when they moved the ladder in and out. This could have been prevented by having one worker hold the branches back while the other worker moved the ladder. I didn't discover this until after they had been paid and left. Other than that, I'm satisfied.

Ron and his crew were excellent from start to finish. We would definitely recommend them and hire them again. Ron came out after my call, surveyed the project, measured, and wrote an estimate for the work. After reviewing several estimates from other companies, I called Ron and we set a schedule for the work. Ron's crew came out one day and removed the old gutters and downspouts -- neat and clean! They then skipped a day to allow me to have some pest control work done on the facia. The next day, they came out and installed the gutters and downspouts. I was particularly impressed with the crew's skill and quality of work. The gutters look great! Clean-up after the work was excellent.

They are excellent, and I would use them again in the future.
