Description of Work: Replaced an asphalt & gravel roof with a shingle roof. Adding new gutters and downspouts. |Ron was very good at explaining the options, going through the estimate step by step, including pointing out the additional costs over the Angie's list special deal. He was also very good at pointing out the potential "extra" work that could be needed and could lead to additional costs though, in practice, there were no such costs. In fact the final cost was exactly as estimated. Certainly the special deal was a big factor in choosing RA but Ron also made a very clear and professional presentation and the work was also performed very professionally. Only negatives were some lack of clarity on the work schedule and less than perfect clean up - but these were only minor issues.

Description of Work: There was very good communication about what we exactly needed for our gutters and once we made our choice, the installation was excellent and professional. The initial installation date was postponed at the last minute by R.A. and I wish that hadn't happened because we wanted to get the gutter guards up before the first big rain. But once installed, we were very happy. Just one strange thing: We discovered while installing the gutter guards that our original builder had failed to put in enough downspouts for proper drainage, so we agreed that R.A. would return sometime in the next couple of months to install the downspouts necessary. We even agreed on a price and that R.A. would call when the work schedule permitted, sometime in the next five or six weeks. But I never heard from R.A. again. That's now five months ago. This situation is the only reason I gave "B" grades on punctuality, response and professionalism. I'm going to make one more stab at calling them but then will look into having another company do the job.

Description of Work: I give RA construction high marks. Ron is your favorite uncle if he happened to own a prosperous construction company (not just roofs). The proposal/estimate was clearly set forth and well explained and was followed to the letter. The installation was carried out timely over 3 days. Cleanup was very good (and included some debris not related to the roof which the crew hauled away at no charge). I especially admire the new gutters/downspouts (Ron previously purchased gutter-forming equipment out of state so that he could control this aspect of the installation); they were created on site and installed in one day by an experienced crew. Several small matters such as rotted ends of rafters were handled at no charge. My city has a roofing inspector who found no defects. The cost was precisely as estimated. Altogether an A1 experience. Description of Work: Initial contact wasn't good - they missed two appointments and didn't even call. But the final appointment to actually do the work was perfect - the crew showed up on time, they were very pleasant, and did a great job of replacing some gutter and downspout.

Description of Work: RA Construction replaced a gutter on one side of my house and 4 spouts. The end section of the gutter did not match the rest of the house. Ron Andrews corrected the mismatched and made sure I was fully happy and satisfied. I liked it that my satisfaction matters to him. I fully recommend his services.
