Planet Orange comes to our home for pest control services and treatment of termites. They give us two inspections and retreat if needed for the price quoted and charged.. The inspection includes the entire home, basement and attic. They were able to treat our home without it being tented. I am happy with the service they have provided to us. They were very polite clean, identified themselves with proper badges and called us back at exactly twelve months to set up our second inspection. They were very thorough and the price was very good also.

I am very happy with what they have done. This was the first time I've used them. They were prompt in responding. They were very professional. The work was excellent. It was the best experience for pest control that I’ve had. Over the years I've used several and this was the best I've had. Their price was in the mid to high range but for me it was worth it to know that the work was done right. It was more of a warranty than I've had from other companies. In the long run it was money well spent. The quality was very good. I would absolutely use them again.

I hated the people that they sent out. The guy that they sent out was smoking and doing green services. He was very aggressive and not accommodating. I was really unhappy with them. It is a green company and they sent out a guy who was chain smoker, really rude, aggressive and tried to deal like a used car salesman kind of. I really didn’t like them. They didn’t do any work as eventually just told them to leave. I just had such a bad experience with them and I said I would find somebody else. I didn’t spend anything. I would never use their services. The person whom they sent out first to look at the place was actually nice.

The first time,the technician came and put some traps out. Explained a one time service charge of $400 or a monthly plan for a year for $70 per month. I chose the monthly plan for a year rather than the one time treatment for $400 only for the first visit. The first follow up visit, the technician did not service the house because I found out later, he serviced another house, rather than ours, spraying the outside with insect repellent, which my neighbor or I did not need. I called customer service who sent another technician out the next week, who baited the traps again ( a rodent had tripped one of the traps, but escaped and set up regular time to visit. The next month, he came out on Thursday rather than Friday which we missed because we were not in. Customer service rescheduled us again. Another technician (the one who went to my neighbor's house) checked the traps and promoted additional services. I just happened to see the planet orange truck going into a neighbor's driveway, at the appointed time and date. Other than that he did nothing but check the location of the traps. He indicated that next time he would come, he would change the scent of the bait on the traps. This is work in progress, but so I have not seen evidence of another rodent. It may be because the rodent has decided to stay outside or go elsewhere. This is still very much work in progress.

The girl in the office was kind of rude. I had to wait hours for her to call back. I asked about organic roach control and she said that it was effective. The service technician was honest with me and told me that it won't work.

The crew of two arrived on time, and completed their work in a couple of hours. Then the fun began: When I tried to fix supper that evening, I saw that the power circuit on one side of the kitchen was out. It is the circuit that also powered the sump pump which lived under the house. We switched the circuit breaker back on, but it flipped off again. I called Nathan at Planet Orange and he arranged for 'Jim' to come by the next day to check it out. He crawled under that house, said the sump pump had rusted out, and he couldn't see anything, but said he would send an electrician the next day to check out the wiring. After having several electricians crawling around under the house, a week later the problem was solved. We are grateful to Nathan of Planet Orange for living up to their Customer Satisfaction guarantee.

They did a good job. They were professional and were conscientious of property. They used non toxic materials and cleaned up after themselves.

They did what they said they were going to do and followed up reasonably well. After the treatment I had a reinfestation of termites and they came out and took care of the issue even after my contract with them expired.

We had them give us a quote. They explained everything in detail about their charges and recommendations. We accepted their quote and they arrived to do the work when they said they would, we're friendly and professional, and cleaned up after the work was finished. We have hired them to do a monthly pest control maintenance program and have have been very please with the results.

They were very timely! They came to do an estimate within two days of my calling them, the exterminator came the next day to bore holes and spray. It is more expensive than traditional pest extermination, but I don't like chemicals being sprayed near my two year old. Plus, the orange oil goes into the wood, instead of in the air.

I had seen evidence of termites a couple of years ago, but didn't do anything at that time. Now there were several swarmers (winged termites) in one of the bedrooms, so I knew it was time to call in the professionals. I researched different methods of termite eradication, and I liked the idea that using XT-2000 orange oil was much less toxic, and would not require any preparation or moving out, other than moving some items away from the wall. I called Planet Orange, and Chris first came out and inspected the home, not only where I had seen activity, but he also looked all around the perimeter of the home, in the attic, and in the crawlspace. Three main areas of infestation were noted. I signed the contract and scheduled for termite treatment for Oct. 1. Sean and Tony came over. Both were very knowledgeable and extremely polite and professional. They were there about 20 minutes early and were able to finish the job in about 2 hours. They said if there is any evidence of termites they will immediately come out and treat for it. If I don't call them, they will come back in a year anyway. One thing I wish they would do is schedule a call for an appointment at that time, because we were told it's up to the customer to call and arrange for that. It would be good service to automatically put a reminder on THEIR system to call the customer. The cost of the service for treatment, preventive treatment and 5-year warranty was around $3000. I am very pleased with this company.

I scheduled termite inspections with three termite companies. Planet Orange was the quickest inspection (by visual only) yet had the highest bid! First of all, I didn't care for the sales inspector. He had a very nonchalant attitude, and did nothing more than walked /looked around the exterior of the house with his clip board. While the other two inspectors both used tools (poker/flashlight) to probe the wood sidings/ trimmings for dryrot and cracked concrete -- where termites could be present. Also, this inspector asked me if the other inspectors spotted termites and what they recommended before he even begun his inspection. I think that was his greenlight to not have to put in his own work. Again, yet, his bid was more than twice as high as the other two I received.
