Pelle Heating & Air Conditioning

It was just as expected. Quick work.

They did a very good job in a timely manner. They were very good, very responsive. The price was fine and sure it's competitive. They came on time and here all morning until late in the afternoon. The quality was excellent, our air conditioner seems to be working fine. They explained everything, they gave me options. and answered all my questions.

It went great. See above. We are in the process of selling the condo, so speed was of the essence, and speed with efficiency is what we got.

Pelle was fantastic throughout the entire process! Things started off wonderfully when we had Tim out to give us an estimate. He took his time assessing our existing furnace & duct work, as well as suggesting things along the way. He also sat down with us, did a full assessment of our current furnace usage, and potential AC usage (as we didn't have one yet); he also took the time to explain everything, including the meanings of the technical terms, along with drawings, facts & stats-- all things we got to keep to review later, if we wanted. Also of note: Tim insisted on wearing shoe covers in our home, and would take them off going into the garage or outside-- even when we said it was fine, he did it anyway. It was this level of commitment to doing the right thing & respect for our home that put Pelle even that much further above the rest. We were having some other work done to our house, so it took us a while before we could finalize our plan with Pelle. Once we told Tim we were ready to have them out, he came back out to go over our plan again & answer a few questions on the details of our system (namely the location of the AC itself). We signed, paid (& Tim made sure the pricing was competitive). Our installation was scheduled for 2 weeks later, over 3 days. The installation was practically painless-- although the guys were all working hard! Robert, Jose, Nick, Josh & Hector were all a part of our installation; each and every one of them was so nice, worked hard & was a pleasure to have working in our home. They were sweet to our dog, and were very accommodating to having the dog (& me) in the home during the install. They had a great respect for our home, and did their very best to protect everything & keep as clean as possible. Although they scheduled the install over 3 days, they were done by the end of day #2. The guys did a walk through with me, and explained everything we needed to know about our new system. Rafael, one of the Pelle guys in the office, was a pleasure to work with through the paperwork part of the process. There was a small hiccup with the permits being pulled, and Rafael made sure it was all taken care of. After the guys left, and my husband came home, we noticed the back two rooms in our home had a significant vibration to them when the AC was running-- to the point that I couldn't stand to be in those rooms. I called Pelle the next day, and their tech, Ron, was scheduled to come out the very next day. Ron confirmed that the vibration was 'more than normal' and that after inspection they would come back out to see what they could do. A week later, we had our inspection, and the Pelle tech, Gary, came out to do the work to fix the vibration. Unfortunately, there were a few minor things that needed adjusting (per the inspector), so Gary did what he could, and said they'd have to come back once they clarified things with the inspector. A week after that, Ron came back out & did the remaining work that the inspector requested; but wanted to wait to fix the vibration until the system passed its final inspection. (We're doing other construction on the house, so we're waiting to re-install our smoke detectors onto the ceiling-- delaying our final inspection). A few weeks passed, and my husband and I agreed that any adjustments done to the system really should be able to pass inspection. We called Rafael & explained our request, he had us speak to Ron, and Ron agreed that our request was perfectly reasonable. Ron said he would have Rafael call us back to schedule Gary to come out to fix the vibration. A week later I hadn't heard back, so I called Rafael & scheduled Gary to come out. Now into the heat of summer, Gary was booked 2 weeks out (but it sounded like if our system wasn't cooling properly-- not just a noise/ vibration issue-- they would have had him come sooner). Long story short, Gary came out, went under the house & was able to quickly and easily identify the vibration issue. He fixed it & we couldn't be happier! Now just to get the ceilings done, so those smoke detectors come off the counter & onto the ceiling... so we can have our final inspection! ;)

First of all, our Salesperson (Tim Kennedy) spotted problems with our installation that no other contractor spotted, including reasons why several of the quotes we had already received would not work with our existing furnace. His attention to detail was fantastic. When the guys came onsite to do the work they found more issues with the original heating tubes. They not only fixed them, they took the time to explain the issues and adjustments I should be aware of. They did a lot of repair work on the bad job done by the heater installer, and yet they didn't charge me a cent more than the original quote. I wish Pelle did other services, I would happily use them for everything.

Turns out the house needed both a new furnace and an A/C. The tech was punctual, professional, and knowledgeable, and the price point was competitive, but a different company threw in some much needed freebies at the same price point, so we did not select the Pelle bid.

We called for an appointment and received a prompt reply. Tim came and gave us a complete estimate for a unit appropriate for the size of our house. He laid out multiple options, including costs, in a reasonable and easily understood manner. When we decided to go ahead, an install date and time frame was set. The work crew arrived at the set time and finished ahead of schedule. Every employee with whom we had contact was professional, knowledgeable and personable. The latter is important when you have workmen in and out of your house over a number of days. I would recommend their work to anyone.

The Pelle technician was very prompt, and in fact, called to say he'd completed a previous job early, and said he was available early. He arrived, was very courteous, wore shoe covers in my house, and inspected/cleaned my furnace and replaced the air filter in less than 30 minutes. I was very impressed. I would highly recommend their service.

Started with a quote from Tim Kennedy who did a great job explaining the options to fit my needs. Then Tim sent out an installer to determine best route for the refrigerant line before Hector & his crew did the installation. An amazing job all around. Very punctual, clean and interested in addressing all my concerns. So far, the unit is working great and I would highly recommend them for future work.

The consultant Tim and the working Crew were great. They were prompt, courteous and very professional. The consultant Tim took the time to go over all the options we had to choose from. He was very through and detailed in the proposal. Once the job began, I was impressed on how the working crew took pride in their work. After the job was completed, my wife and I did had minor concerns with the condensate pump PVC piping sticking out the garage wall too much and the fan from the furnace wasn?t operating. Once Pelle was aware of our concerns, the owner Steve, consultant Tim and one of the Crew members came to the house the next day and fixed all of our concerns. The quality of their work was great. The Crew did a good job keeping the house as clean as they could as they work and cleaned up after. We are totally happy with the result.

It went really well, better than expected. They were prompt and courteous. The duct work required hauling out lots of old filthy ducting from a very narrow crawl space, and they did a good job of it. Kept the house as clean as they could as they work and cleaned up after. They were polite, professional and on schedule. Totally happy with them and our resulting HVAC system.

I think they did a very good job. The air conditioning system is working very well. The person who came out to give the estimate was very thorough and seemed to be very knowledgeable compared to the others I spoke with. The installation took about a day. It was a little longer than they had estimated but it was okay.

The appointment was scheduled easily. This is my first home and I am new to most home improvement and maintenance. I got a flate rate price quote over the phone, I checked with a friend in small construction and he said the quote was reasonable. The technician was very amiable and professional. He took care to keep the floors and areas around the opening to get under the house neat and clean. He did have to call for more materials as the air duct runs were longer than normal. So another technician brought the needed supplies and helped finish the job. Before the tech left he explained everything he did and also informed me that I could use the damper to shut off air supply to any one of the air ducts he installed. I had one air duct replaced earlier by my home warranty company, and recently we had a very strong wind storm. The air duct that was replaced by my home warranty co. Let in a lot of bad musty mildew air from under the house, and it took days together rid of the smell. There was no odor comming from the ducts replaced by Pelle.

Overall service was great and they fixed whatever is needed to fix and made our air conditioning works when we needed.

All too often we only tell others about a "bad" experience - I'll here to tell you that I had a great experience with Pelle. It was an excellent experience from the initial inspection schedule with the inside sales staff through to the completed installation. Although the salesperson didn't review the different options for A/C units (e.g. energy saving units, low noise units), I pretty much had decided on a Bryant A/C. His recommendation suited the size of my home so I went with it. The installation team was GREAT. The two installers arrived on time, were friendly to my dog, and kept me informed on how things were going. What made the installation experience great was two things: 1. The corner of one of my registers had become loose (bolt), and Erick had no issue in fixing it, (even removing the whole register and reseating all for corner bolts. 2. As he was the leaving, Erick noticed that the A/C didn't power down when I turned the rgister off. After looking at the thermostat, he went back into the attic and adjusted the switch for immediate shut off. That's the kind of service we all look for.

Purchased a coupon from Angie's list for this service and they called promptly to schedule a service date, were here on time, called prior to confirm - really smooth and easy.

They installed central air conditioning system into a difficult; very tight closet. They brought in their head honchos to do it. They did a good job and are very responsive. The owner of the company came by to check on it. They were very professional and punctual. Their sales man was extremely responsive in terms of answering questions. I tried to do a lot of research. The neighbors were talking about getting work done. The neighbors were talking back and forth. They offered us deal with any of the neighbors. They were just very responsive. They did an excellent job in a difficult situation. They were extremely professional and they got very good work done. We may have paid a $120 with labor and parts when they came out to clean up the filter. I think our budget for the initial installation was $10000.

The crew of two arrived on time and worked until lunch, took a 45 minute break and then completed the job. I had to pre-tape the outlets so no insulation would blow in the house, but that was easy. Every one was professional and pleasant.

I thought that the price was a good one. I went with them because of their reputation and the way they discussed the estimate with me. They are a very professional company.

They were really good. They had a really good follow through and showed up on time. They did an excellent job. They followed up to check up on maintenance type stuff and to check when we switched from summer to winter when we were using the heater. They came out just to make sure everything was working properly and the air ducting was working okay. We had a condensation problem with a tiny little area leaking in the garage from the water pipes. They were out within an hour and had it fixed. We haven't had a problem since.

Excellent job by Pelle. Tim Kennedy, sales person, made himself available numerous times to answer our questions. Really went above and beyond to get our business and ensure that we were happy with order and with Pelle's performance.. Installation scheduled promptly (less than a week) and supervised by Pelle's head of operations. Job was complex but handled very well by Pelle team. Very professional and easy to work with. We are very happy with their work and have recommended them to our neighbors.

Just make sure that when you hire a contractor the salesman is also apart of the install team. If the owner does the work you will get a good job.

The bid was complete and competitive with other companies for comparable systems. The installation was done on time by a quality, polite crew. Everything was done according to guidelines and passed city inspections. We are very pleased with their work.
