Technician replaced bad capacitor. A/C working now.

It took 7 visits and 1 inspection and they tried to replace a wall for inside my air compressor

It was very, very good. The technician knew what he was doing. I really appreciated that he explained all the options my unit might need now or in the future, why, and and let me decide how to move forward. The only minor piece was the technician initially requested I pay for the $79 I had already paid for the Big Deal but we were able to quickly resolve that.

Pellet recommended equipment perfect for my small house rather than pushing oversized (and overpriced) models. Installation was quick, professional, and clean; afterwards I had a new, efficient system in half the footprint of the old one.

I took a lot of care choosing the right company to install central a/c & new furnace in our home, and Pelle exceeded my expectations. Estimate was excellent and accurate; the crew did a great job; and the company was responsive in coming out when I had a slight problem. Our a/c is working beautifully in this hot summer. I worked with Tim Kennedy he came out twice in 3 years we weren't ready for the commitment the first time. Tim didn't put any pressure on us was careful in explaining everything and helped us avoid overspending on a bits we didn't need. Tim was also one of the only ones who actually went up to look around in the attic and looking around the house. Most others just quoted it based on figures of the house size. That would not have been appropriate for us since our layout required an extra return to circulate the air since we have the backend of the house colder/hotter than the front. Admittedly this return seems to only partially work if we have the door between the two areas close it is better. The workers turned up on time and cleant up after themselves and were courteous. If I recall correctly it only took a day or two to finish the installation.

it took a couple of times for Pelle to find the issue, but they did find it and fixed it. i understand these things take some troubleshooting to determine what was going on, .. and the techs came out and were systematic in their approach to find the problem instead of just guessing..

Update - I had an issue with an outlet which was promptly handled by Pelle even months after they were done installing, highly recommend these folks for being so professional and making sure the customer comes first.

Pelle was very easy to deal with from the quote to work completion. Pricing was very competitive. When we started the job, we experienced a very professional work crew, very timely and excellent workmanship. We replaced a 30 + yro furnace and AC with a new Bryant system- the job took 3 days, and came out great. the only frustration was scheduling inspections and pressure tests- after several attempts, it was completed. The house is warm and efficient- thank you Pelle!

The technician was personable, punctual, polite and I wish I remembered his name...I think it was Gregg or Gary. The service was wonderful. I had been using another company for years, but they would not match Pelle's price and their wait time was considerable. I would call Pelle for any further heating/cooling issues.

The service provider has no resource until the next 3 weeks.

Called to say he wouldn't be able to provided service. I think Angie's list should vet these offers better in order to establish the actual service area of the provider. We paid in advance for the service and it wasn't actually offered! We did get our money back, but we had to go to the trouble of asking for it.

The initial consultation with Tim Kennedy happened almost a year prior to installation. My husband was happy with how professional and knowledgeable Tim was when he presented us with our three options for A/C and to replace our old furnace. A year later, I spoke with Tim and he was able to pull up the original quotes provided at the consultation. We finally scheduled a day for installation and was also offered discounts depending on the method of payment being used (which made a huge difference). They were also able to combine the inspection for the permit by the city into the total which made it a lot more convenient. On the day of our installation, there was a crew of 3 gentlemen that worked for 8 hours. Everyone was very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. They put new insulation on ducting and also put in a brand new filter on for us. Robert (technician) educated us on how to change the filter (which has not been changed in over 20 years). The installation was completed in 8 hours (on the same day). We also received a follow-up call to see how the equipment is running. We are now happier and a lot more comfortable during these hot summer days and will be able to get the best usage from our new furnace during the winter after being educated about the filter. Work done well. One of the employees even came by before the work was started to coordinate with roofer to make sure new furnace in attic and new solotubes wouldn't conflict. We went on a walk-through the morning work started to go over placement of new vents, return, and thermostat. Unfortunately some of them were put in different places than we discussed. Thankfully the company redid the location of the thermostat since its position conflicted with other planned work. That was great. I guess the vent locations were probably changed because our shallow roof didn't allow what we wanted, but it would have been nice to be contacted so we could be clued in. The work initially didn't pass inspection by the city, but the company quickly made the required fix and I rescheduled the reinspection. The second inspector said the original inspector was being really picky, so it did pass. Overall this is a very good family-owned business that had a good price and did good work.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was fine and went very well. I would use them again. They actually did come back a couple of weeks later to reconnect an air return to the furnace and that went very well. They were very good. The price was very reasonable. They were a little slow coming out but once they were there, they were very responsive.

After I purchased a coupon I was told they did not work in my part of San Mateo County.

Very prompt, and very professional service. Turned out they could not help me (I have a dead rodent, not a leaky gas line), but technician gave me good advice on how to proceed.

They did fine. It was August or September, something around them. They were punctual and did what they asked and did not try to sell some stuff.

I would recommend them. The person I worked with was John Gardner and he was excellent! He was very accommodating and very easy to talk to. His response was great. He just was right on all the time. It was just wonderful!

I learned a more effective way to clean the filters. I was very satisfied with this service.

They sent two teams for the first day and each team worked on one system. For the next few days, they sent one team to work on both systems. The teams were professional, courteous and accommodating. They are familiar with local building codes and discussed and checked items not related to the air systems such as smoke/CO2 detectors in each floor to ensure code compliance. The project was completed ahead of schedule, except for a new gas line connection, because of a delay by the plumbing subcontractor. But the whole project, including gas connection, was completed according to the schedule. The office arranged the permit and inspection. We were notified that an engineer would do a final check before the city inspection. But the inspector arrived few hours earlier and he did a very through inspection. The engineer came during the inspection and everything went well.
