Description of Work: Installed A/C and new central heater. Initial visit was good, got lots of information; Price for heater and AC units were reasonable (I had done some research beforehand) said it would only cost $10 to have the permits done if I had them do it for me. Great! The guys who installed everything were on time and finished everything on time. They were really great and professional. |But then things started going slightly downhill. I had asked about when the permit inspections would happen and the guys who installed my units said within the next 2 days. After 10 days, I called back asking when I would hear about permit inspections. Then they set up the appointment (no apologies for never calling back or forgetting). Then later that day, I get a phone call from them saying I have to pay ~$300 for permit inspections. I said, I was told that I had paid $10 for the inspections. The customer services was pretty rude and said that was if *they* did it, but this was for the permits themselves. This was the first time I had done anything like this, so I understood. |Ductwork guy comes to inspect everything (again, this was the first time I had done anything like this)..so I asked which permit this was forth...he said this was for the central heating/AC permit, but he said his work was included in the price. Again, a day later, I'm called and told I owe $250 or so for this work. I told them I was told it was included, and she said (sneeringly) that's not right. What can I do...I paid. |Another 10 days go by and I have to call them again asking when the rest of the permit inspections are going to happen...and again, being very rude, they set up the appointments. When I had questions on what the process was going to be, they were vague and not at all helpful |Fortunately the city permit inspectors were really nice and helpful (passed one, failed another)...and since one failed, I dreaded dealing with Pelle. But they send someone right away to fix the problem (btw, they told me that I should pass one the first try). | |The AC and heater unit are great and I'm enjoying them immensely and the guys who set it up were great. But because of all the headache afterwards, I will not use them again. I think if you know how all this goes, then they are the people to go to. But if this is your first time and you are not sure what the process is, better to stay away from them. For me, it was a learning experience.

Description of Work: They installed a heating and air conditioner for my house. They replaced it with the Carrier infinity model which is the most energy efficient top model that there is.

Description of Work: Installed two new furnaces and two air conditioning units. Checked and patched crushed ventilation under the house. Added gabble fans and tied it all into the electrical panel. They also wrapped the returns with insulation and covered existing insulation in the garage.

Description of Work: We purchased a heating unit for our three bedroom, two bathroom home from them. They removed our old one and installed the new one.
