Just Windows

Great! They arrived about 5 minutes early. Crew of four worked for at least 2.5 hours. Very friendly crew. Getting that glue off was no fun and they got it all. The windows, screens, tracks and frames look great. When scheduling, I called because they were forecasting rain and they rescheduled me with no problem.

The two man crew arrived within the stated time frame of one hour (unlike Sears with a 4 hour or more timeframe). They went right to work and I was in a word, flabbergasted at how clean they got my windows. It is like there is no glass in them at all. I say this because a number of the windows had hard-water residue on them and it had been a number of years since any attempt was made to clean it off. This is a 97 year old house with the original glass, so I didn't expect the windows to come absolutely clean due to the elements, etc., but Just Windows got rid of every bit of residue. They did an incredible job and the price was more than fair. They were extremely careful about the landscaping as well. On a scale of 1-10, I'd give them about a 55.

My request for service was professionally handled by phone. Received a reminder call the day before the scheduled appointment. Two men arrived on-time in uniform shirts. They wore paper booties over their shoes to keep outside dirt from coming inside (this was much appreciated!). Dusted the mini-blinds first, then cleaned the sills and screens and washed the windows. Very detail oriented, professional, efficient workers. Used the coupon from Angie's list to discount the bill by $10.00. Even my husband was very pleased with the work! Will definitely use this company again.

They cleaned the glass very well including some where foliage touched the glass. A caution: Do specifically tell them not to remove screens unless you are home and releasing them from the inside. The story: They arrived 30 minutes early and I was in transit. They called my cell phone to get approval to go ahead; I said Ok expecting them to clean the exterior, unscreened windows and bypass the several screened windows until I arrived. They forced the screens off. The screens were not greatly damaged but they were damaged in subtle ways. The mesh is now looser on the frames. The aluminum sheet metal clips, that hold the screen frames to the window frames, were forced, slightly spread and had to be squeezed closed for the screens not to rattle on the windows. I modified the clips and they work again now but after a few cycles of deformation like that they would crack and fail. -end-

It was excellent. They were early and I wasn't home, but luckily someone was here, so it was not an issue. They did a great job. They were very polite.

Just Windows came on time. A crew of 4 young men did a good job making all windows shine. In the beginning, one of them spent a lot of his time talking on his cell phone while the other three were working diligently. Half way through it, the company called asking how was the crew doing. We love this practice. That talker must have gotten a call from his boss. He put away his cell phone and went back to work. The homeowner asked him to redo what he had missed. He followed her instruction and did a fine job.

Window cleaning was pretty good. Windows looked great afterwords, although there were a few slightly bent screens. The housecleaning was not so great. The cleaners were mostly men, and they cleaned only the things I specifically told them too. Thus they missed a few places that really needed cleaning. I would use them again for windows, but not for housecleaning.

They were efficient and did a great job. Left the place clean. I asked them what it would take to do the skylights, but they said I could not add it onto an existing order. The windows were spotless, I have used them before and will use again.

Getting an appointment was easy and quick. They arrived an hour late, which was inconvenient. But they worked hard, were cheerful and professional and responded to my requests with alacrity.

They showed up on time, they were very neat, they didn't leave any mess, and did a very good job with the windows. They were also extremely careful and very good about keeping us informed as far as how the job was going.

Got their information from Angie's list, called and got a quote in June. Scheduled work 6 weeks later. They gave me a great quote.

The person who scheduled the appointment was very cordial on the phone. My appointment was between 1:15pm and 1:45pm but they were running late that day. The office did call to give me a heads up. A crew of 4 people came to do the work. Two people worked on the outside and 2 people worked on the inside. I was impressed they took the fly screen out and washes it with soap and water. I thought they would just remove it and wipe it with a towel. They completed the windows very swiftly; 1.5 hours.

I've used the company a few times. I am sad to say that the best experience was the first experience, about 7 years ago. This summer I used them again after reading excellent reports from the Angie's List, but again I was left disappointed. The crew was a few hours late on the 1st appointment which was rescheduled a week later. The service manager promised to send "one of the best crews" to us and that he would personally come to inspect their work, he never showed up nor called to check in. And the crew was 45 minutes late than appointed time -- I found out about it only AFTER I called to see what was going on! It was just the beginning of my frustration. They did clean the windows mostly OK, but they didn't follow my request to install window screens where they took off. The crew leader had one of his staff checked after they finished the job, but when I inspected myself and showed the crew leader, I found: 1. They neglected to tell me one of the screens had a hole and couldn't close very well. (At first, the leader was trying to cover themselves saying something different before admitting they should have told me.) 2. They didn't clean the some of the tracks very well till the leader re-cleaned and made a difference. 3. They left a lot of areas by the window dirty which I had to clean them up myself. A day after they left, I found one of the screens weren't put back, they were able to send a staff to put it back. A couple of days later, when I rechecked the windows again, I realized a few window screens weren't put back correctly and a few screen clips were missing plus they moved one side of my bed without putting it back. I talked with the scheduler, she said she would get back to me but at this time of writing, I'm still waiting, another week has passed. The crew seemed to be nice people, but I wonder the quality of their training. I'd like to say I was very satisfied with the quality and professionalism of the company, but I can't.

I received excellent customer service when I called to schedule the appointment. Two men arrived on time as scheduled and washed/cleaned all windows. The screens were removed and replaced after cleaning. They also cleaned the window sills and tracks. They were careful not to step on my plants. They moved quickly and my windows looked great when they finished, with the exception of the garage window. They could have done a better job of cleaning it on the inside. One significant complaint that I have, and one that keeps me from giving the company an overall rating of A, is that one of the men climbed on my clean sheets and bed with his work clothes on to wash the master bedroom window. It was a difficult window to reach, but he should have told me he couldn't reach the window, and we would have come up with another solution.

Fine. They were on time, fast and the windows looked great when they were done. However, some advice, it is best to call the phone number.

I called to schedule, and they were responsive and were able to schedule the cleaning fairly soon. They warned me that the might not be able to wash the exterior of all the skylights, as the roof is tile and cannot be walked on. I requested the track cleaning in advance (as other Angie's List users had indicated that it had to be specially requested). I thought the price was quite fair and they did an excellent job on the windows and tracks. The screens on this house are very hard to take off and put back, and they didn't do a perfect job of this. Also, they didn't keep track of which window was which and even though when windows look to be exactly the same size, the screens aren't fully interchangeable. So some of the screens got a little bent in putting them back. I still gave them an "A" on quality, though, because I've had other window cleaners that did so much worse on these difficult screens. They were right about not being able to clean all 4 skylights, but they did the interior of all of them and hosed off the two that weren't reachable for cleaning and they actually looked just great. Overall, I was very impressed with the job - and they had 4 workers so they got it done more quickly than I expected.

Two window cleaners arrived from the company within the half-hour window they committed. They started with the inside windows, put booties on their feet to keep the carpets clean, and worked their way around the house, removing the screens as they went. I had already moved furniture out of their way (there is a long list of things the company is not responsible for, which they ask you to read before work begins), and what I didn't move, they worked around. They pointed my attention to some damaged plaster around a window, which I appreciated. Once completing the interior, they worked their way around the house cleaning the outsides of the windows. They scrubbed and hosed the screens off on the lawn, which I might have cared about if my lawn were in better shape. Finally, they came back in (with booties) and rehung all the screens. They were here for about 2 hours. Their work was impeccable. I will hire them again.

Prompt, courteous, and did a great job. We have some very difficult windows in our 2-story town home, and they handled them all with great care and professionalism. We are very pleased and I just called them again for a second cleaning.

I am very pleased with how my windows turned out! Some of the windows were hard to reach from the inside, but the cleaners did a wonderful job. They even got the cement sealer off the sunroom windows. My windows haven't looked this good since they were installed. The workers were very polite and quick. I will definitely be using them again.

Workers arrived on time. Cleaned windows and tracks, inside and out, very efficiently and well. A couple of screens were damaged, but the company warns that it is not responsible for screens over 3 years old. These were about 15 years old and on the sunny side of the house.

They were fast and efficient, however they left a razor blade on the ground. They failed to properly install screen. They missed one on a window.

This was about a four-hour job. My house has a great deal of glass. They were fabulous and did a great job. They didn't leave any mess at all when they were finished. I plan to use them again myself and would definitely recommend this company.

Even though they are called Just Windows, they do janitorial work as well. We have been using them for years and they have always been very prompt. The last time it took them longer than we had expected, but they did a fabulous job.

It was great. I loved their speed and that they had a team to do it. Last time I hired someone, it was just one guy and it took him a long time. They did a good job and replaced all of the screens properly.

Arrived on time, got right to work and were done in just over one hour.
