Description of Work: The service went well except for the cost for the capacitor the repairman charged me. It was too expensive.

Description of Work: Purchased two 2-stage furnaces, one for each story. Everyone I worked with was extremely professional and communicated clearly. The owner really cares and takes pride in his business. They want to make it right for you. I don't know how competitive the pricing is but the service sold me. I will be a repeat customer if they are still around when my furnaces die 20 years from now!

Description of Work: I bought a coupon from Angie's List and used Hussey Brothers to inspect/diagnose my hydronic heating system (uses a water coil). The technician was knowledgeable of the type of system and performed the inspection. He also replaced the old thermostat which has started failing. I supplied the new thermostat for installation. The technician was punctual, informative and mindful of keeping my home clean. I would definitely use this company again.

Description of Work: Hussey Bros. gave me wonderful service at a time when it was crucial. My furnace went out on Jan 1...a holiday, of course. I called several places on Angie's List, hoping someone would call me the next day. Well, Steve from Hussey called me at night. He offered to come that very night (and it turned out to be the coldest night of the year) but I decided to wait until morning. At 7am sharp, I got a call from Steve, and by 10 am he was working on the furnace. He replaced a faulty motor and by 12 I had heat. As a courtesy, he programmed a complicated thermostat and checked the ductwork to see why some rooms were colder. Of the 8 or so companies I called, only 3 called me back at all; only Hussey and 1 other company were prepared to come out on Jan 2. I recommend Hussey unconditionally. The serviceman was polite, professional, punctual, and pleasant.

Description of Work: Great new gas furnace. A difficult installation that the team figured out. Disappointed that it took 2 inspections from city to pass final inspection. Felt satisfied enough to recommend Hussey Brothers to my niece with confidence in their product and skills to handle their situation in a professional manner.

Description of Work: I asked info about duct vent in my kitchen and the person on the phone was very courteous, knowledgeable and told me what to buy at home depot instead of trying to make me spend anything.
