Halcyon was great to work with. They explained to us why the spring may have snapped prematurely and showed us how the original install of the door was done poorly. Thus why we replaced some other components. They went above and beyond as they showed up at 3 to fix the door and were still working at 9 pm as he did not want to leave us with a nonfunctional garage door.

Jen the sale guy is really responsive, informative,?and promptly?sent me?the quote with different?combinations of their products to let me?count the budget in advance. It took around 2 weeks for my?new door?to be?manufactured and?setup. The contractor?arrived on time.?Their service?of installation?is fast?and professional. After work, they cleaned up?the floor in every detail?and towed away old door. I love my new garage door; it is beautiful and really "quiet" during the open/close.

Very responsive, provided a detailed explanation and answered all my question. We received 3 quotes and In the end we went with another company that was closer and just slightly cheaper.

I called on a Monday morning to schedule a service appointment to repair my garage door. They came out that afternoon. The garage door was not repairable so we ended up replacing the door (I knew this was a high possibility.) The new door was installed 2 days later. This company was nice, efficient & professional.

I've had a really busy schedule this last few months so when the spring on our garage door broke, I wasn't able to get to it for a while. I found Halcyon on Angie's list. They had a high customer service rating and a special to fix the spring. I scheduled it for a window on Friday afternoon that would work for me. They were very responsive asking for specifics on what was wrong so they could ensure that their employee would have the right parts when he came out. They also accommodated my schedule when I needed to stay at work for 30 more minutes. The worker showed up right on time, knew exactly what was wrong and how to fix the door. Besides replacing the spring, he also tightened the belt, greased the tracks and a number of other things. The door lifts perfectly now. Even smoother than when we bought the house four years ago. They had a great deal ($199 for a spring replacement and 25 point inspection), were prompt, courteous, competent and professional. I would highly recommend them!

The provider inspected the garage doors and suggested that the rollers and the opener are too old. We justified the cost and used them to replace the rollers as well. Now the doors open very smoothly. It was a good job.

She was very friendly and helpful and answered all my questions. The service technician, Mario arrived as scheduled and was extremely professional and worked quickly to repair the springs. Once complete he walked me thru all repairs and had me test the door and review the repairs. It was a very old roll-up door and it has never worked better. This is the first time I have used a company thru Angie's List and I was very pleased and will definitely use Halcyon Overhead Door in the future when I need repairs or door replacement. It is great to have a reliable, honest company to recommend to friends and family.

Wonderfully. Took an hour, they were on time, they were awesome to talk and know exactly what he was doing step by step. And the job was better than we could have anticipated. Even my husband who is so critical usually, was impressed.

Halcyon ( Mario) did a great job. My springs were completely rusted through and the wood was in bad condition. Mario Lima took the time to figure out a way to get the springs anchored in my deteriorating wood by putting lags in. It made it so I could use the garage again after a long time of not being able to open my garage door easily. Now its fixed and I can use it once again. He was very helpful and professional and knew his how to get the job done with my safety in mind plus he was a nice person too. You have a good employee in Mario Lima. Thanks

I had bought a coupon for a garage door motor replacement, but unfortunately - we did not have power the day Jon showed up to do the work. He was great though. I also did not realize our cable was completely snapped, I thought it was just off. He was able to get our cable back up and in working order and I just rescheduled my motor install, which will take place next weekend! He was quick, efficient and we have a garage door that at least rolls now! YAY! I highly recommend this company - scheduling is very easy. Both Julie and Jennifer call to remind you of your appointment and I find that very helpful during a stressful remodel!

My garage door has been working fine since they installed it. They were competitive and professional. I was able to set up a service call within a day after I called. It was the following day that they came out.

Very professional. Halcyon installed the garage door opener very well. Made sure that the safety sensors and the safety pressure was set correctly. Also tuned the garage door, fixed a broken hinge on the garage door.

My husband said that they came on time, inspected the track, replaced a part and everything started working.

I called on Wednesday thinking that I would have someone come out and take a look and then schedule the repair. I was really surprised that they had an appointment that day and they could do the repair the same day. The technician that came out (Isidro) was very nice and knew what he was doing. He confirmed that I needed a new spring and that he could do the repair in a short period of time (I had a time crunch because I had to pick children up from school). He told me how much it was going to cost and did the repair in about an hour. He not only fixed the spring but he also tightened some loose screws and added a screw where one was stripped. He wanted to ensure that all the parts were in working order and that the door went smoothly along the track. The garage door works better now than it did when we bought the place 9 years ago! All in all, great service, done quickly and at a reasonable price.

Very straight forward. The technician arrived on time and went to work right away. He was here for ~30 minutes, so not a long job, and didn't try to up-sell me to an unnecessary service as my door was in good condition (I just wanted a professional opinion). Would use them again for a tune-up and/or more significant maintenance.
