Halcyon Overhead Door

I would highly recommend halcyon to anyone needing garage door work done. It started with a phone call from Beth. She was most friendly and a pleasure to work with on the phone. Anthony came and was a pleasure also. He was efficient and knowledgeable.

I was in a bit of a tizzy because the car was stuck in the garage. I called Halcyon and talked to Beth. She was very calming and understanding of my need to at the very least liberate my car, since I had appointments the next morning. She was able to give me a window of time to expect one of two technicians (depending on who was available first). I got Dennis. He got the door unjammed and worked with it to see that the the limit switch and electronics seemed to be functioning properly. He did general service on the door as well. There wasn't an apparent cause for the door to have run past the limit and it performed correctly when tested multiple times, so we decided to treat it as a fluke, but if it happened again, it might mean I need to replace my aged opener. I was very pleased with my interactions with both Beth and Dennis.

Perfect! Beth was very nice in the office and then Anthony came out and was outstanding. Installation was great and his customer service even better. They did a great job ! I've used Halcyon in the past for repairs and parts but this was the first new installation. They continue to excel and exceed my expectations. They responded quickly, and were able to show up the same day and get the job completed in about 90 minutes. The area was cleaned after the work performed and Anthony took some time to explain the new keypad, remotes and programming functions of the optional app in case I decided to download and use it. He really took his time and and did a great job. I will use them again and I highly recommend them.

Everything went very well, it was fast, professional and correct. They were on time. They even did more than asked for the same price! We would recommend them and hire again.

Great. They were proactive in reaching out to me and flexible with my schedule. The garage didn't display the issue while the technician was there, but he still figured out what the problem was and made adjustments.

It went well, they replaced the control panel and programed the remotes for us. They were the only ones to call us back of the 4 we contacted. We were very pleased with their work and the courtesy of both the office and technician.

Some delay in getting new door manufactured from the factory (apparently, I have an off-size door opening that required special manufacturing). But once delivered, installation went very smooth.

I called Halcyon and they came out the next day to fix my broken torsion springs. They were on time, responsive, and communicative. The price was reasonable (but not cheaper) compared to alternatives. The job appears to have been done right, the door is working great.

I've used them before which is why I hired them again. Very professional and always do good work. You cant go wrong with these guys. I'm happy I used them and will continue to use them.

Halcyon was very responsive from my first phone call through final installation. On the first call they collected some preferences for the new door and emailed me a quote as well as scheduled someone to come out and measure. At the measuring appointment I confirmed which door I wanted from the catalog, the quote was finalized, and I made the initial deposit. Then the door was ordered and once available installation was scheduled. They arrived on time and had the old door removed and the new door and opener installed in about 4-5 hours. The new door works great!

On Monday night, I discovered that the garage door was not working ... one of the springs was broken. Tuesday morning I called and they set me up with an appointment for that day. The technician (Jon) arrived right on time. The repair only took 1 hour. I have used Halcyon on other occasions and have always been pleased, as was the case this time. I highly recommend them and will continue to use them.

This company was great in all regards. Answered my questions promptly, offered suggestions to help me make the best choice for my house and budget, and were completely professional in all regards. A joy to do business with.

Work was performed well. Arrived at the time agreed. Work was performed in reasonable time and at reasonable price.

Tech was delayed from originally scheduled time but I was working from home so not a major deal for me. Upon checking the door he found a small rock, piece of foundation, had fallen into the track on one side of the door and was causing the problem. I foolishly had not checked that, will know for next time. Had pay for him to come out anyway so just had him do regular maintenance, lube and adjustments. Made a great difference, door is much quieter now. Tech was very friendly and knowledgeable.

It was quick and easy and didn't cost too much.

Work was professionally done . I would hire then in the future.

Upon first inspection, it was determined that John, the very experienced repairman, should tackle the fix. He came out in the afternoon and repaired the door and the spring. He did a great job and certainly knew his craft. Thank you for a job well done.
