Halcyon Overhead Door

The person came and applied lubrication on my garage door. He noticed that garage door spring was broken and fixed it as well with additional charge.

They came, did a good job and left

Process went well; no problems. But for some reason - and it appears to be random - the garage door fails to close using the button embedded in the car and we actually have to get out of the car to close the door. Have not called Halcyon back regarding this isse, so not sure where resposibility lies.

The rep was on time and extremely punctual. My garage door was not in the bad shape as I had thought it was but the rep was still thorough with the cleaning. He said I did not need a more intense tune-up or replacement parts so I went with the keyless garage door opener. At first, I did not really think I need the opener but it has been very handy. Overall, I am happy with the service.

Service personnel showed up promptly on time. Assessed what needed to be done to resolve problem. Replaced broken spring with 2 new springs (an upgrade so if one broke in the future I could still open door. Installed new remote keypad access.

It went great! It's been a while soI have forgotten the name of the actual person who did the work. He was on time, worked quickly and efficiently, answered all my questions. He tightened & oiled everything. Although he sprayed oil in many, many places there were no drips or spots anywhere when he was done. Very impressive! The chain on the automatic garage door opener had started sagging & he quickly corrected that by adding a bolt that had somehow fallen off at some point. The new rollers made the door much, much quieter. My pets used to flinch when the door would start opening and they would be inside behind 2 closed doors. After the rollers were installed, I could still hear the door opening but it was quiet enough that the pets didn’t seem to care. Some months later when my garage door started acting possessed – completely unrelated to the above work. So I called them right away and I got even better service. Will write a separate review for that visit.

They were prompt and courteous. They mentioned the wear on the bottom gasket and wondered if I wanted it replaced. X if they do it now, or Y if they have to come back at some other time. We opted not to, which they were fine with.

Punctual and professional. Overall, a good experience and I'd use them again. The only complaint I have is that the door still doesn't operate as smooth as I would like. It's not clear to me whether the clunky operation is due to the age of the mechanism, or whether it could be improved further.

They made an appointment for the same day (actually more than one was available to me) and arrived promptly (actually a tad early and the tech just waited outside). Work was done very quickly and professionally. Service tech was very friendly and the whole thing was done before I knew it. No problem using them again - very happy!

The guy was really good. It was excellent service actually! He came out to do the maintenance but he also found some problems with my garage door and took the steps of correcting those problems and making the adjustments. I'm very impressed! There were no additional charges beyond the big deal amount.

o mI originally left an e-mail inquiry for which I did not get an answer. At that point I was going to move on to another company but I decided to call. They responded quickly to my message and the repairman was out very quickly-within a few days. He needed to come back with a new part. I didn't know that my friend had already ordered the part for me. I called back and told them I had the part. Another repairman came back the next day to put the part on for me. I was very happy to have my door back. I was also happy with the service.

It took a while to schedule when Jon could make it to Menlo Park to do the work, but once that was finalized, the work was very professional, the quality was excellent, and all questions about maintenance, etc, were fully answered.

Not much to say. Garage door was serviced and restored to perfect working condition. Technician was prompt and professional. Great experience.

I had called them for my own garage door which seemed to be a running a little rough. They came by and provided a tune-up. I am a local realtor and used them for two additional transactions that needed new garage remotes. One was a foreclosure sale and the past occupant did not leave remote controls. The other transaction was a seller who had an estate sale and apparently they were either sold or thrown out. They were quick and professional. Would recommend them.

He had to put in new roller because the garage door was shot i forgot he did had to replace something but he did a really good job.

Service was completed without issue. Rollers were replaced -per deal- and all checked out and tested aok. Service took approx one hour and Jon seemed friendly and knowledgeable. Yes, I will use this company again.

I was very pleased with their service. They did a good job. I would use them again even if there wasn't a Big Deal. They were prompt, they were very courteous, and they did a very nice job, no hassle.

If you ask someone for a review...don't ell them what they have to do!

They were very prompt in arriving within their scheduled service time and the technician Jon was very professional and capable in resolving the problems we were having with the door. When he came it would not close properly and was very noisy and our remotes were not working. When he left the door works perfectly as new, is quite and we have two working remotes and a new keyless pad outside. All for $99 (Angie's list deal). We are very pleased with the service and the results. We will definitely call Halcyon in the future if we have issues with our garage doors.

Overall experience was good. They were very quick to schedule the appointment and pleasant on the phone. The person arrived on time and did the job well. The garage works better now and is much quieter.
