De Luxe Dye Works & Area Rug Cleaners was first started in 1890 in France with the of dyeing clothing & feathers. The dye house was moved to San Jose, California in 1912. Then in 1928 we introduced cleaning of area rugs into the company. The business is still family owed the business is now run by our 4th generation.

Description of Work: I've used Deluxe for the past 40 years to clean my Karastan (American-made 'Oriental' rug). It still looks as good as the day I bought it, despite more than 40 years of daily traffic, including kids and dogs and cats. Partly that's because it's a really good rug, but in large part it's due to Deluxe's excellent care. I'd never bring my rug anywhere else! Oh - price above includes home pickup and delivery, too, for $75. You can save by bringing in your rug yourself. I HIGHLY recommend Deluxe. |

I've used these guys several times now. They are prompt and very courteous. Did a great job with my rugs. Customer service rocks. I've had trouble with my dog peeing on my living room area rug. I had the rug cleaned once and paid full price for the cleaning and "pet treatment/deodorizing". I since have needed to have the same work done several times shortly thereafter and they have been very cool in giving me a price break because they sympathize with my problem. Superior customer service, and nice guys too.
