DELUXE DYE WORKS AND AREA RUG CLEANERS

We have a large family heirloom Persian rug that is over 75 years old. It was starting to ravel and Deluxe Dye Works repaired and double tied the ends. It looks amazing and hopefully will last another 75 years. We were very pleased with the work and service we received and had them clean all our rugs. We will definitely use them again and highly recommend their outstanding service.

I have used Deluxe to clean my Persian-style Karastan carpet for 40 years. I wouldn't trust it to anyone else! They have always done an excellent job, including fringe replacement when needed. They are not cheap, but if you're looking for quality, they deliver. I highly recommend them. Note: price includes pickup and delivery.

Great - a bi delayed but good overall

I wound up taking the rug in and picking up it up when it was completed, but they also offer a service to pick up and deliver rugs. The rug was completed before the promised date and the quality of the work was great. Folks are friendly, too.

Was able to drop off and pick up the rug at convenient hours. They gave me good advise on what issues there could be, and laid out the options pretty clearly. Took about 10-12 days for work to be completed.

It came out beautifully, and they stayed open a few minutes late on a Saturday to let me come pick it up because I couldn't get there during regular hours.

I think they were pretty good. They are an old company and the use of the equipment that they had, they could really clean the carpet. They do fine carpets. They were good at the time.

People were very nice. They even offered to repair some of the fringe tassels for free. They did a wonderful job.

It was expensive. I didn't see any appreciable difference. It doesn't mean they didn't do the work, just that my expectations were too high.

They are the best; there is no one that comes close to them. The job they do consistently makes them the best. I think they are one of the best rug cleaners in the country. I know that they bring rugs in from Europe and other places. They are just a small company in San Jose that gives us absolutely fabulous service. I would absolutely use them again in the future.

They are the only rug cleaners that I have used so I really don’t have anybody to compare with, their service was good and they got it done fairly quickly but my rug came back like kind of shrunk and funny so it is not square any more. I have not had that problem before. They put a backing on it and they have done a good job on the backing but that is the second time I have been there. To be honest I think I would try some place else just because I don’t have anything to to compare it to. Price wise they seemed expensive to me. Their customer service is really good and may be this is just normal.

I have never had any problem with them. I had remodeling work done and I had called to inform them that I was ready to take delivery; they did not have a problem with it. They were prompt, honest, helpful in placing the rugs back where I needed them and took the rugs up as well. I don’t know about their prices because I did not compare them and shop because some of the rugs that I have are pretty valuable; they are handmade, handy tied and from South America. They fixed the rugs and did a nice job.

It was fabulous. I have used them for area rugs for probably 15 years and they always did a fabulous job. I had a remnant of carpeting left over that I wanted to make into an area rug. They did the fringing on it, and they did a beautiful job. They are extremely friendly and willing to help or answer questions. They just are nice. They remember my name before I even tell them, and it is sometimes years before I come in again. They are good. I am the one that takes it to them but there is always somebody to wait on me.

They are a great company. They are professional and fast. They cleaned my rugs of pet stains. The $75 delivery charge is for both pickup and delivery. They are a really good company and I like them a lot. I am really pleased with them and I will use them again. I didn't compare their prices.

The work turned out fine. I would recommend them. They would pick up the rug and delivered it once it was done in a reasonable amount of time. From what I remember, the fee was reasonable and the turnaround time was about a week. They did high quality work. I would use them again in the future.

They are very good. We took the rug into them and they gave us a time it would be ready. We went back and the rug was cleaned on time. From what I remember, the pricing was reasonable. Overall, they did a good job.

Everything has worked fine. They have cleaned some Persian rugs for us in the past and the work has always been satisfactory. We deliver the rugs and we pick up when they are done. Their turnaround time is about a week, which is pretty good. We use them because their prices are reasonable and the quality is good.

I brought in my large but inexpensive area rug to be cleaned on site and they called me when it was finished. The service was good and the personnel helpful and friendly. They were willing to get my rug from my car and put it back in when I picked it up. Their place of business is clean and well organized looking. I have used this company before and have always been pleased with their service. I have no reservations about using their service again.

They were punctual in delivering the rug to our house. The guys laid it out and took the time to get it perfectly laid out and even trimmed the carpet pad I already had. They also helped us move the furniture. All the stains are gone!

The pick-up and delivery service was totally helpful---on time, accommodating and efficient. I am very happy with the work. I have used Deluxe Dye Works for years and am always impressed by how good the rugs look when they are returned. The rugs look beautiful now! Though their prices may seem high to some, I feel that the prices are fair and represent a necessary maintenance cost for my carpets.

My husband and I were extremely pleased with the work done by Deluxe Dye Works and Area Rug Cleaners. I first learned about them when I asked a floor installer working for a friend if he knew of a good company to do this sort of work. He told me that they were well known over Northern California, and had an excellent reputation. As far as I am concerned, they still have an excellent reputation. The two rugs came back beautifully clean, with bright colors, soft texture and brilliant patterns. The 60 year-old carpet's restored binding and new fringe blend well with the rest of the carpet, and no one believes the carpet is that old until I show them a picture of my 68-year-old husband as a 7 year-old standing on that very carpet. The 30 year-old carpet looks brand new, and the colors and patterns pop. I was surprised and pleased to discover that the color of its border was dark blue and not black! When my husband inherited these rugs from his mother, we had them shipped from Queens, New York to our home in San Jose hoping they would become family heirlooms. With the fine work done by Deluxe Dye Works and Area Rug Cleaners, these two carpets are well on their way to becoming precious family treasures. They are an elegant addition to our home. As for the price we paid for the work that Deluxe Dye Works did, I honestly do not know if it is too high, very low, or appropriate for the work they did. What I do know is that we have 2 beautiful, valuable oriental rugs thanks partially to their work. I was unable to locate a price for the 30 year- old rug, but the 60 year-old rug is still being made. It would cost approximately $1000 if we had to buy it brand new today, and it wouldn't have the family history that makes it so special to us. We also appreciated the people at Deluxe Dye Works. I appreciated the courtesy and cooperation of the people who came out and picked up the rugs, the office people who kept in touch with us, and the people who delivered the finished rugs and installed them. Whenever we called, or when they called us informing us of progress or additional work that was needed they were most helpful. We especially appreciated their cooperation when we asked them to hold the rugs until our house was ready. They stored those rugs for us without a charge for a couple of months until we were ready to bring them home. I would gladly recommend them to anyone who needs this type of service, and I would happily use them again.
