The work went very well and Brandin, the electrician was fast and competent. I wouldn't hesitate to use Dalcon Electric in the future.

Fantastic! I was scheduled for Friday, but Connie from Dalcon called early Wednesday to see they could come that morning instead (spot opened up from a cancellation). I could, as long as the work was finished by mid afternoon. Brandin came during the promised arrival time frame, checked all the circuits ( and showed me how), which turned out to be OK, replaced all the lights with better ones at the agreed upon price, and cleaned up thoroughly, with plenty of time to spare. Brandin was very professional, informative, and friendly. I would definitely use Dalcon again, especially since my previous electrician stood us up last year to do a bigger job (which delayed getting our house on the market).

Perfect. This is the second time in about a month we have used Dalcon Electric. We requested Carlos Figueroa to be the lead again, and he and Angel were very professional in all respects. They arrived on time, went about their work methodically and very competently, communicating along the way about all (electricity had to be turned off for a few hours), cleaned up as they went along, as well as at the end, and finished the job in a timely manner. All in all, we couldn't have been any happier with the work they did.

They were too expensive for me. I couldn’t afford them so went a different route.

The estimate was scheduled to be 2pm 9/27 (Thur) and was confirmed by Sarah of Dalcon Electric via messages on Angie's List. At 2:40pm I called the Dalcon Electric office and someone by the name of "China" answered my call. She told me the estimate was scheduled to be 9/28 (Fri). I asked her to double check all of the messages between Dalcon Electric and me on Angie's List. China responded to my request in a very rude manner, saying that the messages were between Sarah and me, and she knows nothing about it. Furthermore she told me that Sarah is NOT available due to her office hours. This is the standard excuse: "It is not me who worked with you and therefore I cannot do anything about it." I thought I am dealing with Dalcon Electric as a service provider company, not just one or two specific employees of the company. I must say I'm very disappointed by Dalcon Electric as a provider and would therefore give them a "F" rating.

The electricians were friendly, professional, and explained everything they were doing and why. I was able to quickly book an appointment and they were on time. The indoor lighting job was my second time working with them. Dalcon is now my "go to" electrical repair company, and I have recommended them to several of my friends. This is a company you can trust!

Chris came out and explained that we had old aluminum wiring and it would be best to change our fuse box to an updated panel. He and Angel, (and another worker) came back and spent two whole days trouble shooting why our outlets weren't working. I could write a novel mentioning the extras he added in free of charge, including only charging us to update one outlet (when they updated 6!), buying special brighter teardrop shaped bulbs to exchange for our dimmer ones in the chandelier, and not charging extra for the 16+ hours they were here since it was included in the troubleshooting. Not only was everyone neat and respectful, but Chris also explained everything and is such a friendly person.

Chris was amazingly professional, punctual, and flexible on scheduling. Presentation of products and pricing were clearly laid out. He was detail oriented, down to cleaning up after their work was completed.

After they finished I asked then how I could correct the problem with a hall 3 way switch. They said they would fix it and they did at no extra cost. The next time I need electrical work I will contact this company.

Outlets in both bathrooms were malfunctioning(sparking/intermittent power). 1) Dalcon accommodated my very limmited availability with same day late appointment. 2) Carlos was consummately professional and quickly identified the complexity of my issue, for which he pulled in back up reinforcement to thoroughly assess. 3) David’s additional professionalism and expertise in confirming Carlos’ proposed solution for proceeding was reassuring and his tandem problem-solving presence during the final quoting process by strategizing a plan which would be minimally intrusive (see attached photos) to my existing wall/ceiling structure (a critical concern) as well as proposing ways to tackle the financial elephant in actual larger rather than smaller bites, at a considerable savings, further bolstered my faith in their capacity to resolve my electrical troubles on terms that worked for all of my practical and financial sensibilities. 4) Dalcon scheduled the next earliest available WEEKEND slot (less than a week later). 5) Carlos and Alex arrived promptly and set to work immediately. Both were utterly focused and fastidious in performance of these duties. They worked swiftly and independently and with minimal occasional status updates as each step was completed. 6) All internal work was so pristine as to be undetectable. 7) The final inspection Carlos povide clearly identified items for potential upgrade and a quote for future work to be done another point down the line. 8) All said and done I am 100% satisfied with the work and have all confidence in the quality, safety, and performace of my new outlets thanks to the whole Dalcon team.

Friendly, professional crew, arrived on time and were thorough in delivering top service. Love the new fans and couldn’t have been a better experience. Highly recommend!

Terrible experience. I scheduled an appointment for 10:00. On the day of the appointment, no show, no call, no email. I called Dalcon at 10:15 and was told that someone would meet me at 11:30. I explained that I had to return to work and was not available for the reschedule. I also pointed out that their failure to keep the appointment cost me time and money. They were unsympathetic.

Great, the tech found the problem really quick and make appropriate repairs.

Carlos from Dalcon came out on a Saturday as scheduled, and diagnosed our electrical problems immediately. I was thoroughly impressed by his knowledge, workmanship, and professionalism. He went above and beyond to answer all our questions, and we were left satisfied and safer! The dispatchers also were extremely responsive and efficient in setting up the appointment. We will be calling on Dalcon for our future electrical needs!

I paid approximately $350 and the problem was not fixed. The electrician that the company sent seemed knowledgeable and was good to work with. In fairness to him, he also warned me that my problem was, unfortunately, one that sometimes requires a trial & error approach to solve it. After checking the wiring and tightening any connections in my circuit breaker panel, the electrician said that did not seem to be the source of the problem, and the next area to check was the wiring in all of the electric outlets and switches in the room for a loose connection. He informed me that he could not guarantee that this would solve the problem, but his experience had been that it usually is the culprit. I authorized him to proceed. After he finished, we did not detect any electric power fluctuations for about 10 minutes. Later that day, I was once again experiencing electric power fluctuations in my living room. Unfortunately, the power fluctuations were not happening much when the electrician first arrived, so it was not as clear as it otherwise might have been that his rewiring some of the electric outlet connections had not solved the problem. Upon knowing that the problem had NOT been fixed, I called a smaller local electrician service company (Miles Electric Company...see my review of them), who came to my house 2 days later and fixed the problem for approximately $100. This electrician immediately found a loose connection at the main electric service panel (i.e., where the electric supply from PG&E connects to my house). That was affecting the electric supply to my living room. To my knowledge, the electrician from Dalcon Electric did not check that area for any problem. The Miles Electric electrician then discovered that 2 of my circuit breakers in the service/breaker panel in my garage were out of order. That is, 2 adjacent breakers on one side of the service/breaker panel (e.g., one breaker and the one below it) were connected to the same hot bus bar (and phase) instead of alternating, which could cause a problem. One of these breakers was related to the circuit that delivers power to my living room. The Miles electrician fixed this. The Dalcon electrician did not notice this or chose to not bring it to my attention. I am not an electrical expert, so I don't know if this was the sole or main culprit of my fluctuating power in my living room. All I know is that Dalcon Electric did not fix by problem but Miles Electric did, and they fixed it for less $$, hence my low quality rating for Dalcon. Would I be willing to use Dalcon Electric again? Probably, based on the generally high ratings that the company has received, despite them not solving my problem on their first visit. But my first call will be to Miles Electric for any future electrician needs.

OUTSTANDING! I called Dalcon Electric to repair a broken bathroom outlet and electrical box. Rafael arrived within an hour of my call. He quickly analyzed the problems and thoroughly explained what needed to be done and why. He gave a very reasonable bid for the repairs needed. Once I approved it, he started the work. When he completed the work, he cleaned up the work area to such a degree that you couldn’t even tell he was there. He showed what he had done and made some recommendations about other potential electrical issues. He gave us bids for the future work before leaving. He was on site for less than 3 hours and did a fabulous job. We would recommend Dalcon Electric to anyone needing electrical work. We will have them back to do the recommended items when the budget is there for it.

They were wonderful. Both Christopher Alton who did the work and Rey Inez who set it up were very good at what they did and very considerate. I already recommended them to other people and they just did the work today, Very good company and I will always use them for my electrical. Could not be kinder and did a wonderful job.

Electrician arrived early fix problem fast reviewed what was done with me.

Carlos Figueroa was my sales contact/estimator as well as technician. He was the epitome of professionalism, subject matter expert and genuinely interested in my concerns. He made solve suggestions, was capable and efficient with his time and also guided other workers around him, I could easily tell he was a competent and took pride in his work. He truly brought the Awesome to making my home function well, safely and beautiful. He sets the bar for service.

Carlos did a great job of both explaining what the problem was as well as how i can diagnose it. He was on time for the appointment and very friendly.

Carlos, from Dalcon worked on this project. He was very personable and competent. I needed the ceiling fan replaced only because the lights on it were not bright enough. Carlos suggested that he could do the job at half price and could just replace the lights and reinstall instead of changing the perfectly good fan. I was very happy with his proposed solution and the price. Would highly recommend him. He understood my goal and proposed the best solution for the problem and not just try to maximize his short term gain. His gesture earned my trust and his honesty earned him a very satisfied customer who will definitely get back to Dalcon for other projects in the future. They seem to be well run place who allott value to customer satisfaction above all. Thanks Carlos!

They were very straightforward and fair about pricing, and the technicians were fast, professional, and did a great job! I will definitely use them again.
