Description of Work: Removed remains of original carpet after a water damage event. Intalled hardwood flooring to replace the carpet. They were flexible, prompt responding to questions and installed on the promised schedule even though their lead installer had a family medical emergency. 6 stars on a 5 star scale. | |A visit to their store is a must for anybody considering new flooring. You'll find Steve and his crew knowedgable, helpful and friendly. Nifty restored automotive theme collectables worth seeing if you aren't even looking for flooring.

Description of Work: Blosson Valley Interiors installed carpet in my home. It was installed on time. However, there are seams showing. I asked the owner/manager to come and look at the work and he told me that the work was as good as they can do. He also stated the seams would probably look better after vacuuming a few times. He also said if they tried to fix the job it probably would look worse. It looks as though they sent out what I call the junior varsity instead of the varsity to install the carpet. The seams are getting worse and the big problem is everybody who comes to our house says " whoa, who did your carpeting? It is a very poor installation and so I am happy to tell them.

+ -1 moreThe carpet I ordered was two days late arriving at the warehouse, so we had to reschedule the installation appointment. They called me and explained the situation in advance though, so it was fine with me.
Description of Work: I purchased 400 square feet of a plush style carpet from them. They also removed the old carpet from my house and installed the new carpet that I purchased. I did get a half inch pad to go underneath as well.

+ -1 moreI had just bought my new home and was a little tight for time as wanted the carpets replaced before I moved in. I had seen their commercial on the TV and decided to take a look. I was greeted by Pete, a salesmen their. Peter answered my questions regarding quality and costs. He came out to my home the very next day and gave me a free estimate. I decided to go with them. In less then 2 weeks I had the most beautiful new carpet and was living in my new home on schedule. I was very impressed with how professional everyone at Abbey was. I will be more then happy to refer all of my friends and family to them.
Description of Work: I had new carpeting installed through out my new home, 1800 square feet.

+ -1 moreThe installer was somewhat late in arriving, but appeared to do good work. The finished work was satisfactory. However, after the installer left, I noticed that the refrigerator was probably not quite level. The items on top of it rattled (almost fell off) every time I closed the refrigerator door. Unfortunately, the owner of the company, Steve, seems very reluctant to solve the problem. As of this writing, my calls are not being returned and the problem persists.
Description of Work: The company removed the existing linoleum flooring and installed vinyl tile flooring in kitchen and laundry room. They had to move the refrigerator in the kitchen and the washer and the dryer in the laundry room. There was a separate charge for moving these items.
