Mark said he would show up at 9AM and right on the dot, he was there. He came in and reviewed the various projects we wanted to get done, and committed to getting a few things done in a half day's work. He came in, did his thing, got all the materials he needed, and was done within 4 hours. He's realiable and the work was great. He saved me time from doing these projects myself, plus he gave me some ideas to handle some other projects I was considering. I'm definitely going to use Mark again when I need him.

This job was to replace an over-the-range microwave oven that stopped working (after 16 years) for my rental property. I left a message with Mark about the job and to get an estimate. He responded the same day. I purchased the microwave and requested it to be picked up at the store located near my property. Mark offered to pick it up on the scheduled day of the job. However, he had to reschedule the installation because the microwave was not released to him. (I failed to leave his name as the pick up person). Aside from the setback, the job went very well. According to my tenant, Mark was prompt, tidy and professional. He also took the old microwave for disposal, which was very nice. Mark is kind, friendly and efficient. My tenant and I are very pleased with his work. He is highly recommended.

It has been a really positive experience, starting when I first called Mark. Mark called me back very promptly, was very cordial and nice, explained that he was booked up for a week or so, but made time in his schedule to come by and see what we needed done. This was important to me, because I don't live in the flat full-time and wasn't going to be there when he actually did the work. He called as he promised he would before I left the city and booked a day to come over. My husband was the only one there when Mark actually did the work, but Mark and Chris showed up at the agreed-upon day and time and accomplished all of the tasks we'd asked Mark to do. It was very important to me to find someone who would be willing to make himself available as needed for miscellaneous jobs in the future, which Mark is very willing to do. All in all, a very, very positive experience, and I am very happy to have found Mark through Angie's List.

We have been looking for a good but not too expensive handyman for a long time for small jobs. We did not think a qualified handman would come for 2 hours to do small repair jobs, but Mark did! He came on 7/1/10 and did all 4 jobs in 2 hours and charged us $100. He was very professional and pleasant. He came back one week later to refinised wood kitchen counter top. He sealed the small area over kitchen and worked inside. He vaccumed dust as he moved on. While he was working on the countertop, I also ask him to fix a broken file drawer and take a look at our ceiling light, which was not working properly for a long time. I did not expect him to finished all that by the time he finished with the countertop, but he did. He estimated 8 hours to refinished the countertop. He not only took 7 hours to finished the job, but also finished other small jobs. He is amazing and very reasonable. We will ask him to give us an estimate for a major repair job in the fall.

He was very friendly, really efficient, and really careful. He had all the tools that he needed. He had worked around my schedules.

He was a little bit too pricey. He is unlicensed and he charges only $10 less an hour than a licensed contractor. He didn't bring any samples of his work either. He could be the best handyman in the world, in which case it'd be worth it, but I can find others cheaper.

One of our windows had developed a leak, and I'd spent weeks caulking, testing, and trying to eliminate potential causes. Given that our building is rather tall, the window is difficult to reach, and it's generally unpleasant to work on, I called Mark to help. He came out promptly and brainstormed with me on potential causes. With a strong storm only days away, we decided that he should hit any gaps in the siding which I might have missed. Having stared at the problem for too long, I clearly didn't see several potential problem areas which Mark quickly found. I'm pleased to say the torrential rains which followed resulted in a significantly reduced leak - barely a few drops when compared with the substantial flow during much weaker storms. Once it dries out a bit more, I'll go back over it again to look for any remaining areas needing attention.

Mark returned my phone call the same day. He arrived right on time. He was able to do the work the same day. Neat, professional, a nice guy.

I called Mark and he called me back within 10 mins. When I describe the job he said he could do it no problem, but if possible could we do it next Friday as his wife had just had a baby. I said I really felt like I could not wait. Mark called another handyman he trust and had him call me. Jason Brown, called right away and came over within an hour. He did a great job and explained everything so I could understand. Based on is timeliness, price and skill, I have asked him to replace my greeting card wall and a few other things that need to be tended to. Mark was right to refer Jason and if I had the chance to work with Mark in the future I would jump at it.

Mark arrived on time and was efficient, clean, and organized. He was friendly and listened carefully to my concerns. He checked in with me when an important issue arose. His workmanship and knowledge were excellent, and his pricing reasonable. His level of expertise and experience exceeded these small projects, and I am planning to work with him on several other home projects. Based on this experience, I would strongly recommend him.

It went great. He showed up when he said he would (a little early, in fact) and managed to get the job done pretty easily. (I was sure it was gonna require another person, but he found a way to do it all by himself.) He knew what he was doing, explained to me his plan of attack, addressed my concerns, and then got the job done.

We had a giant pile of play structure parts that had been sitting in our backyard since last summer. (A year ago, I bought a play structure advertised on Craig's List, then brought the dismantled pieces home to assemble... but never got around to it, and really had no ides where to start, anyway.) I found Mark on Anglie?s List, and from the first contact to the completion of the job, it was a pleasure working with him. He returned the initial call (and any subsequent ones) in a very timely way, arrived promptly for our first meeting to assess the situation and provide an estimate, arrived promptly for the work, itself? and most important, did a GREAT job assembling the structure. He somehow figured out how it was all supposed to fit together just using a few fuzzy pictures I had taken of the intact structure with my phone?s camera a year before, and came up with some excellent ideas for modifying the very large structure to fit in our San Francisco sized back yard. (He also replaced some of the wood that had rotted.) Mark accomplished almost all this in one work day, then came back the next day for a couple of hours for the finishing touches. My children were thrilled to arrive home from a day at summer camp to find that a sorry looking heap of wood had been transformed into a magical play destination, with a two story club house, porch, door, windows, slide, monkey bars, swings, fire pole, etc.. Mark was great with the kids and he is definitely the new neighborhood hero. The structure has seen almost nonstop use since its completion. (I just wish I had called him a year earlier!) The project came out costing at the low end of the estimate (including the extra wood needed, which Mark purchased for us), and was completed more quickly than we anticipated. Mark is a nice guy, very easy to work with, highly skilled, punctual, tidy, thorough, hard working, efficient and entirely professional. He provides excellent service value for the money. We highly recommend Mark, and would not hesitate to call him again.

Mark was friendly, prompt and responsible. He was the only handyman to return my call within 24 hours. He did our job thoroughly and quickly. I was home packing during the work and Mark was great about working around me, my son and his babysitter. The walls were completely smooth and filled in once the work was done.

Mark came by to see the scope of the project within two days of my calling him. He estimated that he could get it done within three days and that he could use mostly materials that I had already purchased for the project, and started the project one week later. He completed the front steps in fewer than two days. he completed the siding on the back deck in less than one day, and did use materials on hand, only buying what was absolutely necessary. We felt like we paid a very reasonable price for work that was done well, timely, and by a most courteous and professional person.

I scheduled an appointment with Mark to check out the work I wanted him to do on a rental property. He was punctual and told me what the job entailed. After the doors were put in, I requested a few other secured features to be put on the door, and Mark was very responsive in working with me and came back in a few days to complete the job. I wish I could be more specific, but I don't know what to call some of the parts used in replacing and securing the doors. I sent Mark over to do the doors and when I went to see them, I was not completely satisfied. What impressed me was his professionalism and willingness to accept criticism and do what it takes for a satisfied customer.

It went very well. Mark was very responsive from the beginning to get us a quote. He showed up on time and did the job well. He even procured the shower door for us to keep the project from slowing down. He followed up a couple of times after the work was completed to make sure everything was OK. Overall, a great experience.

It did not take him long at all to do this for me. Pricing was very reasonable and he is a very nice man. I recommend him to anyone.

Mark was friendly, energetic and efficient. It took only 15 minutes out of his two-hr minimum to repair the holes under the kitchen sink, so we asked if he could do more projects since we had to pay him for two hours. He said "sure." We appreciated that he was willing to drive to the hardware store to purchase the electrical box. The three repairs were done well.
