Very well. We discussed online and I sent him photographs of damage; he scheduled visit within 2 days. Came on time, gave estimate, went and bought door, performed all needed carpentry on door and frame, reattached sill, and completed it all the same day. Final price (including door and hardware) was closely in line with estimate.

It went well, Mark was a great troubleshooter and figured out a solution to our problem

He arrived on time, found the problem fast and fixed it within half an hour. He also found the temp. solution for one of my brocken window.

He did exactly what was needed

Mark is very punctual and professional. He is fast and does good work and seems to have a lot of experience doing different tasks. . He offers suggestions when asked.

Mark did the work, but nothing was ever completely finished. He left holes in the wall and told us to finish it ourselves. He left dust all over the floor. He left the paint brushes in paint in a bucket in our living room. We really wanted the work to be completely DONE. We asked him to completely finish each task after the first time he worked with us, but the same thing happened again. It was just frustrating to pay $800, but still have a lot of work to do. I don't think the clean up and completion of each task would have taken long either--he just seems to have a hard time focusing on one thing and wants to plow through the work list as fast as possible.

We looked up Mark Adams information on Angie's list. Impressed with his ratings we called and scheduled an appointment for 5:00 PM on 8/25/14. Mark requested that we send pictures of the damage. Several pictures were send and he asked for an additional picture from a different angle. This picture was send, and he acknowledged receiving the picture. On Monday at 5:00 Mark did not show up for the appointment. At 5:15 we called to see if there was some confusion or a problem. There was no answer, and we left a message requesting a call back. To date (8/27/14) we have not received a call back. Obviously based on our experience we cannot recommend Mark Adams.

The first time I contacted Mark he responded quickly to my call and texted until we firmed up a date for the work. He showed up promptly, performed the tasks in a professional manner, and I was very satisfied with the experience. The second time I contacted Mark via text inquiring about him doing work, he responded that he was swamped. I texted a couple of dates two to three weeks out and he didn't respond. Perhaps a victim of his own success, but I was disappointed.

Excellent, Mark went beyond what I expected and was very helpful making suggestions and telling me what was realistic and what he could do I didn't think of.

It went pretty well. He was a nice guy and he did the job well. That was the only time I used him and the job lasted for a week or so. It was over a $1000. The work that he did was good and the quality of the work was also good. I am pleased with the outcome. I would recommend others to go ahead and use him.

It did not go well and he was not helpful. He kind of showed up for one of the jobs and did not have much feedback about what to do so I never called him again. I don't think I had him quote a price or anything because he was so unresponsive. Beyond that, he also was booked out for about a month. He did not do anything for me, but did show up on time.

Mystery leak in garage. Mark traced the leak running down a vent pipe. Required opening the wall in a few places. The source of the leak was found and fixed. Marked did a great job of patching the holes in the wall. Very nice guy, easy to work with, very knowledgeable.

Mark replaced the front door. He did an excellent job at a fair price.

Mark was fabulous. He did a superb job. He did exactly what he was supposed to do. The finished product was great. He resolved some problems that we have been addressing for a long time that nobody else seemed to be able to fix, so we were really happy with him. If we need anything with doors, we will be calling him again. The service cost probably under $500 and it was very reasonable.

The service was okay. The guy just came in and did some work. He was fine and good. We ended up going with a contractor for bigger amount of work. The price was fair.

Mark was nice to work with. He gave me the bid that I needed and that was it. He was nice and he showed up on time. He was very professional on our dealing. We are hoping to hire him but that would not be for a while. His bid was $2,000 to $3,000.

He did a great job. Everything went smoothly and the result looks great. I would definitely hire him again. The price was also _very_ reasonable.

I spent a fair amount of time hunting this handyman and then could not get him to respond to emails or return telephone calls--all without explanation. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt that maybe he just didn't care for the various projects I needed him for. I would have preferred that honesty over waiting by a silent phone and receiving no email replies. I could have moved on faster in finding someone else, and everyone would have been happy!

tryour front door which was almost 50 years old presented a challenge in many regards. it was not easy to find a door that would fit and look nice. we agreed on a simple door which needed re-framing. the lower entry frame had to be creatively replaced. all worked out well. Mark was professional,courteous,friendly. he left our home cleaner than when he started.

Mark was on time, personable, and very efficient!

All three jobs involved more time and money than I anticipated, partially as a result of Mark's approach to handling the tasks. The water pipe project went from replacing a spigot and adding pipe and new spigot to replacing the entire length of pipe and coming back to replace a new spigot that leaked after one day. Mark could not thread the old pipe to accept the new fixtures, so we ended up replacing the entire length of pipe. Mark responded to the leaking spigot within a couple of days and both spigots appear to be working properly now. As to the light bulb replacement, Mark got the old bulb to work by adjusting it, but then proceeded to drop the bulb on the floor (shattering it) causing us to have to buy a new one. He returned with a bulb that fit but was much "whiter" and harsh as compared to the others already in place. He made another trip to exchange that bulb for one that was "warmer" and more closely matched the existing lights. On the third project, Mark attempted to remove the reflectors on the spots that had rusted. While trying to pry the reflectors loose, he broke off the entire spotlight from the fixture attached to the house. He did this with both fixtures. This necessitated us buying two new fixtures instead of just the reflectors as we had originally discussed. Mark was courteous and professional and after some delay in getting on his schedule, he attended to the jobs promptly for the most part. I don't fully understand why he had the problems he did with the initial attempts at fixing my problems. It may have been lack of expertise or him being in a hurry. He was clear that he would get it done properly eventually and he did. I'm not sure how much extra his various missteps costs me. He gave me no itemized bill for either his time (although he did say he deducted one-half hour for one repeat visit to Home Depot) or for the parts needed to complete the job. He did ask for two checks so I know that his labor charge was $275 (5 and 1/2 hours) and the parts charge was $241. Again, I expected him to replace the two reflectors only, I expected that he would replace the kitchen bulb with a similar bulb in one trip and I expected that he could use the existing water pipe for the other jobs. I can't say how many of the changes were a result of the stuff he had to work with being the problem and how much of this was a result of Mark's approach to the projects. Because he has been consistently rated highly on Angie's List, I'm hesitant to pin it on him, but I would most likely try another handyman if I needed additional services in the future.

Great. Mark arrived punctually and worked very efficiently (on an hourly basis) to complete the main job. The work product was great and he was very easy to work with. The only downside was that there were a few follow up items that he said he would come back and take care of, but that never happened. Overall, the quality and work was good though, I would recommend him.

Great guy. Honest and kind. I will surely use him again int he future!

I spec'd a replacement door at Lowe's and told Mark which model I wanted. He picked it up, brought it to the house and carefully removed the old door (framing and all). He then installed the new pre-hung door and reinstalled the existing lock set. He cleaned up everything and hauled away the old door. Mark came back few days later to install a peephole. Mark did an excellent job at a very reasonable price.

r He is my fourth handyman in 7 years of owning the 3 unit building. It's my first recommendation from Angie's list and by far the best handyman ever. He's friendly, timely, and super fast. He is respectful of your time and your space and cleans up after his repairs. What a relief to have someone I am comfortable enough with for the long term.
