Description of Work: I initially contacted Mark to do a number of small jobs. These included leveling a floor and tiling under a waher and dryer, painting a small bath(with a very hard to apply aluminum paint), fixing and painting 2 ceilings with damage, and finishing several small jobs that had not been done to my satisfaction by a prior handyman. On the first day, while fixing one of the ceilings, Mark uncovered serious dryrot on the basement level and the first floor of the house. He said he was able to fix it and called his friend Chris to help him. I was particularly concerned because I was going out of town in a few weeks and a large part of the back of my house was exposed after the dry rot was removed. Mark was able to complete all the jobs we agreed to before I left. I found him to be very professional, good with detail work and easy to work with. He also had good suggestions for better ways to complete the jobs. I will definately call him again.

Description of Work: He built a wall in my closet to sub-divide it and mounted a "raw"(undrilled) door, then he spackled and painted as well. Job was done well enough. Price was fair, and his professionalism and a good personality made communication easy. I will definitely hire him in the future.

 + -1 moreMark came the day after we called him, he arrived a few minutes early and did all of the work efficiently and thoroughly, charging an hourly rate of $60. When a solution wasn't obvious he thought it through and found one. He was courteous and very professional.
Description of Work: We recently purchased a home and are preparing it for tenants. There were about 6 or 8 small (but annoying) repairs we needed to have done. Some were easy but some required ingenuity. An outside door wasn't hung correctly and the lock was jammed; a rain spout was emptying directly on the deck by the house; an outside cover for the recycling bins didn't open properly; closet doors were off track and there were a few other repairs to be done.

 + 0 moreMark is a responsible, friendly guy. Mark is as talented a painter as they come. He also is quite handy with wood working. He removed a door and drywalled it beautifully for us. He painted all of our rooms in our house and we are so pleased with the outcome. His rate of $35/hr. is quite a bargain for his level of expertise on all handyman issues. He is easy going and will tell you if he thinks you should hire an expert. He is also efficient and fair in billing.
Description of Work: Complete interior painting, window restoration interior & exterior, threshold installation, interior framing, drywall, tape & mud, Plasma TV installation/hang, Home Maintenance Services.
