Not well. I called about a leaking water heater. I few minutes after he arrived, I felt that I was asking for a tremendous and off-putting favor. Dragging himself into the house I showed him the water heater closet and he started complaining that there was no light. I actually felt guilty and said when I open the garage door there will be more light. Then said this needs to be replaced but he didn't have one. It will have to be Tuesday....and then just stared. Today is Saturday. He said maybe he could call someone, but they would have to go to the city...as if its my problem. Then said "what do you want me to do". I asked him to do what he can because I need hot water and I told the woman when I made the appointment that I had a leaking water heater. Then he asked "well do you still want me to look at the leaky faucet hose and the hot water dispenser". As if he was waiting to get off the hook. Again dragged himself up, said I needed a new faucet, he had that. But if I was replacing it, I wanted to buy a nice one. He said I should buy that and he would install them both. Fine, this is not his fault, I didn't know one could repair a leaking water heater, I thought it was a given that it would need to be replaced. But the worst was to come. He quoted $295 each for replacing the faucet and installing the water dispenser. The water heater...$2150 or something. I told him I had a coupon for a new water heater installed at $1,215 ($1,350 is the original price). He just stared at the coupon, said nothing, flipped pages, came back and stared at it. Then said, well what's the model? I said that it was his coupon. The fact that he tried to charge me almost double is terrible, but his attitude was worse. Finally, I told him it was obvious he didn't want the job so he could go. I had been willing to wait until Tuesday for hot water, have him start work on something else, pay whatever it took to take care of it, but his attitude was apathetic bordering on hostile. I understand that he may have had a bad day, but it is not my fault and I am very disturbed by this whole event.

We thought our bathtub/shower was leaking, but when Justin showed up nothing leaked! He gave us a couple of scenarios that could be happening and recommended us videotaping the leak should it happen again. He was very professional, even brought booties to put over his shoes upon entering our place. They do free estimates which is always nice. Will definitely use them in the future should we need a plumber!

With 2 young grandchildren arriving soon, we were dismayed that our bathroom sink backed up! Anthony at Atlas Plumbing arranged for Ronald and Leo to come by. Within two hours of my call, those two amazing plumbers had the drain cleared (no easy feat with old pipes). Many thanks to the professional staff at Atlas Plumbing. I won't hesitate to call again.

I had used them before and was very pleased so when the sump pump we bought at a local hardware store and installed ourselves did not empty the water from our basement, I called them. They were the only company of the 5 I called who came out the same day and looked at my problem. We have finally had so much rain that it over ran our french drains and started coming into the basement. They came on a Friday and had to order a bigger pump. They returned today, Monday, and are installing it the right way which we did not do. the noise from the old pump was so bad our daughter could not sleep. I am very happy with their service and they are the first company I will call with any future plumbing needs.

Went smoothly without a hitch. Service person came exactly at the time requested and performed all the requested work and installation of new equipment. Very professional, would not hesitate to call again if needed and would recommend to any future clients.

Seemed honest - gave options for items discussed

I had explained what kind of bathroom fixture I wanted and their choice was perfect. THey replaced it and cleaned the bathroom floor when they were finished They also replaced 30 feet of drain pipe under the house. They waited until the washing machine had completed a whole cycle before they left. I am very pleased with their work and will use them in the future.

As with age, toilets are not immune to failure. The toilet was constantly running after flushing so it was time to replace the innards. I used Atlas for another problem and they proved to be efficient and reasonable. As expected, they arrived on time and carried the parts needed for replacement. The repair was done in no time at all getting it functioning again.

I can not say enough positive things the service performed. It was my third attempt getting it fixed. I had called a large plumbing company (perhaps the largest) the night before and the person sent did not know what was wrong and said it would take at least 4 hours to pull the toilet and it could not be done that night. My regular handyman said it was beyond his scope. The next day I called Atlas. They were there within an hour. They did have to pull the toilet because we could not find where the sewer came in. When I mentioned I was planning to buy a new toilet they told me exactly what kind to go buy. They were finished before I returned from Lowe's, installed my new toilet and hauled away my old one. They also mopped my bathroom floors and cleaned out the tubs and shower-a job was not looking forward to.

Plumber was personable, but every little "other" thing that he noticed, that wasn't part of the initial quote, turned into an extra charge that HAD to be done. Then when we asked how much it would cost to upgrade the whole house, the price was ridiculous! A neighbor told me that Atlas charges a base fee for service, and whatever the plumber charges extra he gets to keep. When you have water leaking all over that doesn't really seem fair!

Everything went fine. ?I used a coupon to get a lower price. Delightful plumber!

Works perfectly, no further leaks.

These guys came out 3 times to our house. The 1st guys that came were good and reasonably priced. They fixed a broken u-bend pipe under the kitchen sink, cleared 2 shower drains, fixed a faucet that wasn't working, and ran a camera down the sewer line. This cost about $500-600. They were punctual and reasonbly priced. The next time a different guy came. He checked the pressure entering our house and gave us an estimate for changing a faucet. He did not charge us. The third time, however, was a disaster. We bought 2 new kitchen faucets and asked them to come install them, expecting this would cost $200 per faucet, and also to update 6 outdoor spigots with backflow preventers that they provided, which we expected would cost $100/spigot (which is still ridiculous). While he was under the sink, he suggested we "change the angle stops", and said this would cost about $400. They arrived late, took 4-5 hours, and then charged us $2800, which was WAY beyond what we expected. In no way did he explain that this "upsell" of changing the angle stops would cost us twice as much as we were expecting. It was a big disappointment.

We have used Atlas on a number of occasions over the past 5 years, including a water heater installation. Have found them to be very responsive even on weekends. Workers are professional, seem to know what they are doing, check all systems when done, clean up when done, offer 30-90 warranty on their work, no complaints from this customer.

It was okay. He had to replace the flange as well and made sure there weren't any leaks, so that was good. I felt like I was extremely overcharged though.

The appointment was easy to make. The crew showed up on time and performed the service without any issues. Very fair price for the services provided. It's the second time I have used this company and would use them again without hesitation.

Our bathroom faucet needed to be replaced and the technicians, Justin, and his supervisor did a great job. Our trap assembly was crumbling from rust, so they took the time to replace that as well. They worked quickly and efficiently. Watch out for Justin, he's quite the charmer! I appreciated the money-saving advice he gave me for other future plumbing issues that are can be done by a novice homeowner. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to others. Sylvia

Nick was very careful and methodical, trying everything possible to determine the cause of the leak-- like detaching the light fixture from the ceiling in order to look into the ceiling cavity with a flashlight and running water through the tub in several ways in order to puzzel out the source of the problem. After careful consideration and no solution possible through any other method, I agreed that Nick should open the downstairs ceiling under the tub to check the main piping. He removed about a 1 and a half foot square section with a small electric saw-- just enough for him to really get a look up inside with a good light. While the wood was wet over a considerable area, Nick was able to determine that all the piping was in fact undisturbed and he assessed that the leaking was coming from a major breach in the old caulking all around the tiled tub. The way that my tub is tiled made it very hard to be sure of this when inspecting it from the outside, as the breaches were no more than hairline fissures that did not seem to go all the way through the tile grout. Finally, Nick recommended I find a diamond certified handyman/contractor to replace the old grout and caulking and reseal the tub and surrounding tile. He also gave me some suggestions on how to fix a water pressure/flow problem in my downstairs bath by simply replacing the old (translation: crappy and cheap!) shower head and tub spout on my own. Really-- I can't say enough about how thorough, helpful, clean, professional and honest this technician was. He could not have done a better job representing his company! I am acutely aware that, had this young man told me that all my pipes were broken and in need of replacement, I would have had no choice but to believe him and have the work done. But the fact that he calmly and intelligently talked me through all the various problems we might encounter upon opening the ceiling as well as the best and worst-case scenarios regarding the possible solutions, I felt, as far as anyone can, that he was trustworthy and eager to do the best job that he could do. And while the problem was not actually solved by the service this company provided, I feel that the "diagnosis" they have provided (including the 100% assurance that the pipes themselves are intact and the instructions on how to test for leaks before I have the ceiling closed back up again), are invaluable to the final outcome of what could have turned into a longterm and devastating problem. I am grateful for my experience with this business and this particular technician and will surely call them again if I have any other plumbing issues. Now I am just hoping that my next experience with the contractor I must choose to finish this repair will go equally as well!

The technition was on time professional and new what he was doing. I made the appointment by phone and when I mentioned I found them through Angies List he immediately gave me their current discount. Over all I was pleased with service experience.

They were the other bidder on the other two jobs. On one job, they actually came in lower but on the second job, they were way off but I don’t know that they were dishonest. I was pleased with the rooting work they did. They were at the top of the list for services in my area. I would recommend them as somebody people might want to get a quote from as a comparison. They were very quick about coming out. I think they came out the next day. He was right on time. The guy was very good. I would consider them for a bid. For jobs like rooting which is under $200, I certainly would use them again for that.
