I just wanted them to install a fan I had. They said they charge $390 for a fan installation so I’d owe more than $100 outside $79 that I'd already paid. I felt they could have made up whatever price they wanted. They also never answer their phone, I always got their recording. I felt their deal is deceptive.

The technician (Aliso) called prior to arrival to let me know he was running late. When he arrived he set to work promptly and was good natured about a few trips to the panel box outside in the heavy rain. Yes, it was the evening of the recent downpour! I live in an older home with plaster walls so enlarging the opening to accommodate a 4-outlet box was more difficult than cutting through drywall. He was patient and careful not to disturb too much plaster. When he completed the job and mounted a plate over the box, I was happy with the result. It looks perfect. He was polite and professional in his attitude and moved from one project to the next without wasting time. I would not hesitate to call Comfort Electric for any future needs.

After reading ALL the reviews, I became less confident of the company's performance. There were too many negative reviews. When I initially scheduled the appointment with the office scheduler, it was far to vague on what would or could be completed under the coupon.

My experience was fine. He was very professional and came out promptly. He went over everything before he did the work and scheduling an appointment was good.

I thought he was very nice and did a good job.

They did a excellent job. He took a long time to do the inspection, but he gave me an estimate for a $6200 job. Because the cost was so high, I wanted to get a few additional estimates. I was a little disappointed because I did call them back a few days later for an estimate on a cheaper job, but they never answered or called me back.

Usually when you call a business they call you back within a day or two. My assumption is that they are too busy to be bothered. I do no think its very professional to not respond to a potential customer.

They did a good job. The fan works well and I didn't have to pay more than the coupon stated. I did however have to call multiple times to get an estimate. Each time I called I was told someone would get back to me and that never happened. It wasn't until the electrician that I found out how much it was going to cost me. He told me it would be $400, which was high compared to the companies I had called. In the end he was able to install the new ceiling fan for the amount I had paid for with the coupon.

James was very professional. He clearly explained all of his findings and answered all of my questions.

They did contact me within the two business days as they were supposed to, however I no longer needed the service.

I think the service was adequate. He found that he had to replace the coolant because it was gone. He said there was a leak in the line which he had not fixed because it was too hard to get to. He said I would just have to have them come back for another visit to see if it was leaking. However, he was a nice young man.

When the representative arrived he quickly explained something about what a normal service call cost and that if the call required extra work or time there would be extra charges. I explained that the lights in our kitchen had stopped working since I replaced them with LCDs and the lights in the office occasionally flicker. He checked the switch in the kitchen and said it was bad and that most people don't use a dimmer switch in the kitchen and he could replace it with a regular switch, which he did. He was interrupted by a call and apologized and said he needed to take the call. About 45 minutes later he explained the reason for the call and apologized. He then checked the switch and plug in the office and let me know the problem could be in the lights or in the circuit. He replaced the dimmer switch in the office with a regular switch and repaired the plug. Everything worked fine. He then told me the work he did was beyond the coupon value and he would check with his supervisor what the charge would be. He told me we were getting a great deal for just another $199.00 According to the coupon labor was included, even an additional hour if needed. He did not do a "whole-house inspection" or check smoke alarms and I'm really not sure what other checking he did. He then told me he could map our panel and label it for $365 and that my panel needed repair because the breakers were loose and some may need replacing. That would be an additional $325 + $95 for each breaker that needed to be replaced. I felt totally taken advantage of and that instead of service they were just looking for a way to get extra money.

A representative arrived on time and reviewed the home's electrical specifics including plugs, switches, the electrical panel, and ceiling fans. It quickly became clear a great deal of work would need to be done to make the home "electrically" safe. The meeting took place on Tuesday, and a full crew was at the house at 8 AM on Saturday ready to begin work. The crew members were very friendly, efficient, and skilled. The crew chief was patient, answered all questions asked of him, and took time to write a complete and detailed list of items needed at Home Depot. He made several suggestions which were implemented, and appreciated. The estimated time for this project was possibly as long as 12 hours, and that is the exact amount of time it took. They cleaned up their "mess" quite well. The biggest disappointment was holes left in the walls and ceiling, for which the homeowner is responsible for repair. The crew chief was kind enough to contact a dry waller who was scheduled to perform the work on Monday for an additional expense above the quoted estimate for the electrical work. This company will definitely be contacted for future electrical work, and if luck is with us, we'll have the same wonderful crew.

It was a very good experience. They found that I needed my wiring redone - I had wiring from 60 years ago. They were very nice.

Changed all my outlets in the kitchen from standard outlets to some high grade outlet features. Was prompt, professional, cleaned up after himself. The work turned out great.

After several calls to company, no one at company could understand "no service has been provided, please provide a refund".

He did an excellent job checking our house's electrical system. We had major house renovation done soon after this, and our contractor chose a different electrician, but they did the same electrical repairs that he suggested, so his proposed corrections were correct.

Very simple--they arrived on time----worked around other workers that were building a patio---cleaned up and was gone in a half an hour. I tried the outlet already and it works great Thanks now I'm waiting for another outdoor outlet for 99 dollars.

They have not done the work yet. I called them a couple times to try to get an appointment scheduled and they have not called me back.

Bought a deal from them off Angie's list. Guy was late - told us something I thought would be easy would be a $900 fix needed complete rewiring and was a "fire hazard" to the point where they left our lights disconnected. I told them I needed to call my home warranty to look at it if it was really that bad. Long story short... the home warranty person AND another electrician (wanted to be sure with a "fire hazard") came out - No fire hazard. No rewiring, no reversed polarity as told (they showed me how to diagnose it and it matched on Google), $60 fix, DONE. If this place tells you anything over $100 - get a second opinion. Also - I feel the Angie's list deal ($300 service for $99) was a total reel me in tactic.

It took several call to get him to call be back (3), That was irritating. But once he called he was nice and professional. He showed up as scheduled .He called before to let me know he was on his way. He completed the home inspection in a timely manner. He E-mailed an estimate for suggested repairs/upgrades. It was a lot more than I expected. I believe he is honest but I am going to get a second opinion.

I ordered the $79 for $249 worth of electrical services coupon. I called Comfort Air when I was ready to proceed and they made an appointment to come out at a time that was convenient for me. The serviceman called before the appointment to let me know he would be a few minutes late. No problem. I provided the receiver and the remote wall switch and they were expertly installed. They also corrected the original fan installation so that it was properly hung from the fan box already installed in the ceiling and cleaned up the packing materials. The ceiling fan now works perfectly and is installed safely. All work was covered by my coupon and I'd definitely use this company again.
