Heron called before he came, finished my projects quickly and then inspected my use of box for free. He found breaker that was ascing and replaced them when he was here.

Heron has done previous work at my home and did a great job. No different this time. Will use again.

The service went okay. I had them install a ceiling fan. I believe I had to pay an additional fee for the fan. One electrician came out and completed the job in about an hour. He was knowledgeable and had everything he needed for the job with him. I had no problem scheduling the deal and they came out on time. I would just make sure to know the exact pricing up front next time.

James was excellent, pointed out where I wanted the outlets. He went right to work. He completed the work in under an hour and resolved an electric issue that was bugging me for months. Great job.

They were fine for what they could do. They gave us our money's worth and they were fine. We were having problems with the pool and electricity, and they came out and they tried to do the best they could do. They tried very hard, they came out and did whatever they had to do. They charged us an extra $10 or $15, because they checked the pool. They were very nice. They could not do what the problem required. The extra charge was no big deal.

James came out 1 day before appointment to evaluate areas of concern. He was prompt and courteous. During repairs encountered hiccup but was promptly repaired. The owner Herroni worked with me in case of miscellaneous costs.

I purchased a "deal" because the light fixture in my kitchen has been sparking and burning out light bulbs very quickly, which seems really dangerous. The contact I had with the company just during the appointment phase was problematic. They seemed very disorganized and it took a number of calls to make the appointment. I wish I would have simply asked for my money back at that point. The appointment window I was offered ended at 5:00 p.m., and the electrician came at 5:00. He changed out the wall switch (which has not fixed the problem of the light flickering and burning out quickly). He then said he would check my electrical panel, which I did not ask for. Once he looked at the panel, he claimed that one of the breakers was burned out, and he was required to dismantle it. Therefore, I would have to have the component replaced by someone. He didn't leave the part he said was burned out, so I called the company the next day and asked to have it returned to me. I was told by the woman who took my call that I would get the "burned out" piece, but no one called or contacted me again. All in all, I paid around $300 for this "electrician" to come to my house, not fix the problem I needed fixed, and not demonstrate any need for the "problem" he "discovered" that needed to be fixed in my electrical panel. This seems to have been a rip-off. Very disappointed.

ANGIES LIST AMENDED REVIEW OF COMFORT ELECTRIC I HAD A VERY PLEASANT SURPRISE several days ago when the owner of Comfort Electric called to discuss the evaluation I submitted. I had agreed to a $299.00 service for $99.00. After a discussion of what transpired during the visit of his employee, he graciously admitted that I did not get the service I had paid for. He asked if he could make it right and come himself and correct the issue. He came and fixed several electric problems. He was very knowledgable and competent and had the job completed much to our satisfaction. I am very impressed with his professional attitude and his desire to make it right.

I was charged extra for hours. It did not seem like the price was worth the work. He was clean and very knowledgeable. The tech did do a good job on everything.

Heron arrived when he said he would and did the work quickly and efficiently. I am pleased with the work done. I would hire this company again.

It went well. The technician was very efficient and courteous. He figured out the problem I had quickly and took care of it. The only concern that I had was that before he even started anything, he told me that it was going to be a minimum of $200 additional dollars. I thought that was a bit pricey on top of the coupon that I had purchased with Angie's List, but he did a good job overall.

Again the subcontractor did an excellent job. Pricing for the total job including about 1.5 hours of labor was $490 minus my $299 Credit for a balance due of $191. My cost was the original $99 plus $191 for a total of $290. I know the cost of these electrical components and a $490 invoice for this in my opinion is excessive. I did received a courtesy breaker box inspection which revealed a burnt breaker that could have eventually caused serious problems and I am grateful for this inspection even though I believe the breaker replacement cost was excessive. I increased the price rating to a 'B' due to the breaker box inspection additional benefit received. Not sure what this would have normally cost but doubt that it would have been a free courtesy inspection.

1- Reattached and sleeve in flex conduit existing 220 dryer hook up in garage. $198.00 2- Troubleshoot and repair non working circuit for inst hot water heater. Provided and install two blank plates and junction box existing outlet boxes in garage to be removed..$441.00 3- Provide and install Circuit extension to dryer sidwall of garage 120 v 20 amp surface mount plug. $351.00 Minus $99.00 Big Deal.

I called around noon and promptly received a call back confirming the time, the same day at 3 pm. At just past 2 pm I received a call from the technician that he could arrive early as he was in the area. He quickly diagnosed the problem and replaced the bad circuit. He helped us understand the what, why, and how. We had replaced a light switch and upon testing the entire circuit no longer worked and we could not get the GFI to reset. In addition the forced air unit and thermostat were on the same circuit. After Steve replaced the circuit he verified the light switch, the thermostat and the a/c and heat, as well as the other outlets on the circuit. I knew when Steve left that all was working well.

It took two visits, but went smoothly. Heron was prompt and did the work in a timely fashion. He was professional, offering advice about what to fix and what to "let go." I didn't rate the price because I had no basis for comparison, but i would use the company again.

The work was done very clean, but I thought it was a little pricey for what he did. But in the end, he told me I had a potential fire hazard with the way the wiring was previously done. When he finished, I no longer had exposed wires and it looked very professional and safe.

They were extremely professional even though quite young`. Very polite. Explained the process and even set the temp lower than they recommended because I was afraid it wouldn't cool well enough. THey were right, however, so they came back when I called and set it higher so it wouldn't run 24/7. And their recommendation in the first place was perfect. Lowered my electric bill right away by quite a bit.

Started with $99 Angie's List special, but because their scheduling got behind, came late but installed 2 outlets with only an additional low rate. In spite of it being late, Heron did very workmanlike job, neat and professional, and was very responsive and willing to accommodate.

The technician was thorough and on time. I had 2 services companies (for different reasons) at my house at the same time. The technician for this service was very patient with the situation. The technician was on time and professional. The quote provided for home electrical work was $3,130. Sounds very high to me, but I have no frame of reference as to be able to rate this quote. As far as the question, would I use this provider in the future, I answered yes, because there was not "maybe" option. I don't know if I would or wouldn't until I can validate if this is an honest assessment.

the scheduling was very difficult because the gal doing the scheduling was VERY slow...had to repeat everything 4-5 times...she seemed confused about everything...finally got it scheduled repeating all details...took time off work for the service and no-one showed or even called......what a wast of time this company is....completely unprofessional from start to finish. will never attempt to work with them again

Our old doorbell was not dependable. We wanted a new one we would be able to hear throughout the house. We asked if he could choose a good one and get it for us. After hearing our particular needs he researched it on the internet and found just the right bell. We have used Heron before, and he is always professional, well informed and extremely responsive to our needs. He called before he arrived to ask if he could come early, which was great, and worked quickly. After installation he tested them with us in the various rooms , with TV on, for example. He felt the chime was not quite loud enough in the back rooms and recommended another model by the same company for those rooms. He arranged for the replacement and will install those when they come. We have never experienced a better electrician. He is a delight to work with and we highly recommend him. We will definitely use Comfort Electric again and again. Heron knows his business very well.

I too had purchased the $79 deal but didn't interpret the promotion correctly. James, the electrician that performed the work, informed me that the job would be an additional $81. After complaining about the way the listing was worded, he called the office and his boss offered to compromise for an additional $20. James was very professional and when he was finished I decided to pay the full amount that he originally quoted. It was still a good deal.
