Beau was on time, very professional and friendly. He explained everything really well, yet did not try to pressure me at all. I was able to choose some things that I wanted to have done today, and others that I will do in the future. I will definitely call Comfort Electric for my future work.

Everything they did was good. They changed everything. I liked everything they did. I like there professional.

The electrician, James, did not have an easy job because of the horrible electrical work done when we had our home remodeled. He ran into numerous problems but never gave up. He stayed until the job was done. I was very pleased with the finished product and James' tenacity to complete it.

Called @ 8:00 am - said they would charge $79.10 to figure out problem. Showed up said he was here to change at 9 units for $711.00. Changed 9 in 45 minutes and spent another hour 15 to stop chirping noise. I didn't like that they never tried to solve before replacing them. I felt $180 for parts + $500 for 2 hrs work was a rip off!!

Perfect. He came and went through all the steps necessary to find and fix the problem.

We were very pleased with his work. He showed up on time, did a neat efficient job, made helpful suggestions and was reasonably priced. I would hire him again and would recommend him.

The electrician, Eron (sp?), was professional, prompt and overall did a fine job. When the job was completed he had me fill out a review form so this may appear as my second review-- but in thinking things over I feel the need to add one more thing, the one thing that bugged me about the job. I had purchased from Angie's list one of their recent "deals" -- namely $300 worth of electrical services for $99 and had prepaid for that. Given that the job involved a faulty circuit and might have been as simple as a 10 minute loose wire repair I was hopeful there would be no additional charge. I expected a $300 service would buy me up to 3 hours worth of work at $100 per hour and figured I'd need to pay more if more time was required. However, as soon as the electrician arrived and heard there was a faulty circuit he told me the charge would be $410 -- meaning I would need to pay a minimum of an additional $110. I couldn't help thinking at that point "bait-and-switch". At that point the electrician got right to work and did an outstanding job. The repair itself was tricky and took between 2 1/2 and 3 hours to complete. I couldn't be happier with the repair. In fairness to Comfort Electric I have to assume they have standard "by-the-job" prices and circumstances just happened to work against me in this case. But, for future customers, you might want to check out the minimum price for the job you hope to have done before assuming $300 worth of work will be sufficient.

Heron supervised and continuously worked with a crew of 4 or 5 technicians. He & his crew were professional, friendly, courteous and hard working for about 10 hours in order to finish in one day for my convenience.

Felt that bid was inappropriate for the job.

They were fabulous. They were absolutely the best. They came out and cleaned my outlets. They missed a couple and I called them and they came back not a problem. They did it and cleaned up. I would recommend them. They were sparking and I got the inspection deal. When I would plug something in they were sparking so I thought I would have them come out and check them. He said they were old and starting to crack so I purchased from them which they were a little pricey but I needed to get it done. I got all the outlets changed out including the ones in the garage and outside. I did find out that I could have gotten it done for less. They were sparking and I had to do something and I did find out I could have gotten it done for probably $800.00. They had came out and did the inspection and told me what I needed done and then they came back next day to do the work. I was going out of town and wanted to get it fixed. They were really nice and friendly. I would recommend them but I would recommend people do their research because I thought for what they did was a little bit high.

Installation was performed professionally and clean-up of insulation fallen from the attic was done well. They were scheduled to come at a particular day, but never showed up. Had to call back to reschedule, but they were very apologetic, and subtracted $50 from the bill for the scheduling error.

Got the big deal with Comfort electric. They were very responsive to getting the work scheduled and actually able to fit me in before the scheduled date. James gave me some estimates on various electrical work I needed done and after deciding did a fine job of installing a new 30 ampfor my RV. I thought the work was done professionally and the price was fair

This was a total ripoff. I had drop lights that needed to be replaced in my stairwell. I offered ladders and scaffolding to reach the highest of the three lights. They quoted me $847 to replace the lights. The electrician was a very nice guy and he called his supervisor to talk with me when I balked at the price. The supervisor said it was for liability in case the electrician fell. First off the electrician could reach one of the lights with a ladder on the landing upstairs. So I questioned the supervisor and said that if it took his electrician 2 hours to complete the job (which is wouldn't have) then they were effectively going to charge me $450 per hour? Oh and there would have been an extra $30 charge for height...that would have been on top of the $847. When I originally had the lights installed they charged $200 so I guess the charge for an electrician has tripled in 5 years. I would not recommend this company to anybody.

This was an advertised special for $150. It turned out the existing exhaust ductwork was of the wrong size, so it required an extra $290 over the advertised price to redo the ductwork, but this didn't seem unreasonable.

When I requested an estimate, an electrician was sent out within a few days (2 or 3 days, as I remember). Beau did a thorough inspection and offered several different quotes depending on how much work we wanted done. Throughout the whole process, Beau was very easy to communicate with. When we decided what we wanted, they were able to schedule the work on the right day in our very busy repair schedule. They called us with a reminder the day before. They were punctual. They found some deeper issues in the old subpanel then they hadn't discovered during the inspection and took care of them for no extra charge. They found that the kitchen electrical did not need to have another circuit, so this was taken off the quote. Beau even gave me advice on some simple electrical work I was doing. I was very glad that I hired them for the repairs. An update, 12 May 2015: There were some issues with one of the recessed lighting units that they had repaired which were no fault of Comfort Electric. (The recessed lighting had been poorly installed years before by an unknown contractor.) Beau came back multiple times to troubleshoot the issue, and finally fixed the problems. I really appreciated that he followed through and completed the work for no extra charge, and that it was completed within a tight time frame. Again, I highly recommend Beau and Comfort Electric.

Service want well. Aliso was very nice. Aliso had a lot of work to do and came back over 3 days staying some days til 10pm to finish.

We paid a lot more additionally over the Big Deal that we purchased. We paid more that day, and then they came back because they found a lot of problems. They are really responsible and they are thorough. They take their time and they are perfectionists. They are never on time.

Fantastic! Everything we needed done, was completed to perfection. Was quick, friendly and reasonably priced.

I realized I did not need this work, so I did not end up using the deal.

It went like clockwork. They knew exactly what we needed and made it happen. No muss, no fuss.

He was really a nice guy, I liked him.
