I purchased a deal on Angie's list for their services ($49 for 1-Hour Electrical Service Call and Labor). Their communication to set up an appointment was excellent and the service provider arrived on time. I rated them a B on price and professionalism, because their initial estimate for parts was astronomically high, given I had already paid for the labor. Once I mentioned other more reasonable quotes for the same service (installing an outlet, parts and labor), the provider agreed to a more reasonable quote, and performed a quality job installing the outlet. I would recommend them to others, but I suggest getting a firm quote on both parts and labor for the job, prior to setting up an appointment. Other than that, quality and responsive was top of the line.

Lightbulb screwed in in the ceiling. Neither my mom or I could do it because we have high ceilings. I had all my electrical redone in the house and I knew everything was up to code. He replaced a light switch without even telling me first until I saw him screwing it back in. Very unsatisfied

He was very professional he had to go to the Home Depot to get the stuff for the motion light in the garage. The outlet was already there.

Was supposed to arrive between 1 and 4. Called at 3 to say he would be there by 3:45 and arrived at that time. He supplied the new fan for the special price. Suggested upgrading the breaker panel which I declined. Took about an hour to remove old fan and replace new one. Only suggestion for improvement would have been regarding cleanup after the job. A couple of screws were left on the rug in the bedroom and some small pieces of drywall and some electrical cable were left by the breaker panel outside. Also, the cover of the breaker panel was not closed. When first operating the fan some fiberglass insulation was falling out of it. I had to Vacuume it and also vacuumed the new vent to remove insulation that was still loose.

All Scheduled in advance, arrived on time. Professional, worked efficiently.

The service man arrived with 2 models of fan from Home Depot. The fan that was included in the Angie's deal ($189) was deemed to be the wrong size by the service man. The other model was more appropriate but it would cost an additional $125 above the Angie's deal price!! I had little choice but to accept the additional charge because I needed a fan installed. After the installation, I went to Home Depot to price the fan that was installed; the price was $52 and not $125!! By the way, the price of the fan that was included in Angie's deal was $40 so the difference should have been $12 not $125. I called the owner and complained about the overcharge. He made a lot of excuses for the overcharge but FINALLY agreed to refund $90 of the $125(my suggestion to resolve this unreasonable overcharge).

He arrived promptly, returned to give me estimate which was high but I was committed. I was concerned when it took over an hour for him to go to Home Depot for necessary parts and I did call the company. He worked several hours and did complete the job. I do not know if this was a fair price because I did not get another estimate.

I was very pleased by the workmanship of this company. They were on time, worked efficiently, and cleaned up after they were done. The outlet works fine. I would definitely recommend them in the future.

We have very high ceilings and have wanted to replace the chandeliers, but everyone wanted so much money. This company was excellent. He arrived on time, gave us an estimate on the work, and finished quickly. He even checked our electric panel to make sure it was working properly. We would definitely hire them again.

It went fine. Hallway light switches were in sync for the first time since we lived here.

In my opinion Comfort Electric does not fairly list the services you receive for the deal posted. $99. for $299. credit toward electrical services. I called the office to schedule the appointment. The scheduling person could give no details for job pricing. I had to jump through another hoop and call another number. Only, because I called to clarify the services I would receive for the money, was I informed a ceiling fan installation, without existing wiring in the ceiling is $500. That is crazy expensive. I do have another existing ceiling fan that I need moved over about 2'. That would cost me the $99. and an additional $71. This would be $370. to move an existing fan. Again, crazy expensive. I would have left the $99. on the table but no more. After all, the $99. was to cover $299. according to the deal. I am so grateful that Angie's List is refunding my money. As always, Buyer Beware.

This company has known knowledge in every aspect of electricity. I highly recommend them not the cheapest. But the best is never cheap I would use again and again

Fan was defective and "Bo" refused to let the "noisy" fan remain. He graciously returned the original and installed a second fan!! Well done, conscientious worker!! $398 for small bedroom fan with existing vent!! I paid for fan, plus the $398. Would use again, but I would ask price, "First!"

Thought extra price ($125) was excessive! The other choice of fan, included in $189 price, was too small for hole in ceiling.

When tech, Beau, arrived he explained that I need a new light.fan unit instead of only a new fan. The company was so kind to absorb the extra cost of the upgrade, understanding my limited resources because my only income is SSD. Beau was incredibly patient explaining every part of job since I have a brain injury. He also trouble shot another problem I had with a breaker that made my dryer not work. He was awesome! I highly recommend this company.
